The chirping of birds broke his peacful sleep. He opened his eyes to soft sunlight glowing red on the terrace. None knew who slept first in whose arms. he lay cuddled up with geet. they were both holding to each other as anchors of their lives. The cold winds made them cuddle and sleep there itself on the cold white floor. Maan smiled as he saw how peacfully he has slept last night. Telling geet his past was the biggest burden he has got over. He tried to get up and she clutcheed her sweetu which both had used as a pillow last night. He lifted her and took her to her room. Made her sleep there after placing the comforter over her.

She woke up lazily feeling the warmth of her bed but something was a miss. She looked around she was in her room with her sweetu tucked close to her but still something was missing. Memries of last night flooded her mind. She faintly remembered sleeping in maan's arms on the terrace. She hadwoken up sometime at night and seen him holding her really close. She smiled…… that he has placed her here and made her sleep. She looked at the time…she had overslept it was more than 10.. she never slept so late… was it the satisfaction of knowing the truth or the anxiety it created that made her sleep for so long.

She went down straight way searching for maan. Nakul informed her that he left for office on his usual time but had called to enquire if she had woken up.

Geet went back to her room and sat to study. She was on leave for few days owing to her exams beginning next day. She studied for sometime but last night's incidence kept coming to her again and again. It was lunch time when she heard maan call nakul to enquire about her.

Geet shook her head. Ye saari authority inki fail kar jaati hai.

Maan had opened her contact no. umpteen times to call her but hesitated as he didn't know y she is not in office. When he cudnt bear it anymore he enquired from nakul who reported she is normal not sick and in her room.

Geet picked up her phone to inform him and juggled with the no. so many times thinking what will she answers if he questions or talks anything else… after much pondering she texted him.

Wont be at office today… im on leave.

Immediate came the reply.

Exams. I have my papers from tommorow.

Geet sat on her study table and looked towards the terrace remembering his words.

He loved her… did he… maan singh khurana shark kehte hain isse log aur personal life mein koi isse kitna use kar sakta. How can someone fool him.. he blindly believed her… hers was a trap since the first day… fool got into it but who keeps doubting everyones intention when u meet…. But now he does… mujhe bhi bol diya… he was so badly cheated from day one to the last……. She used his money and I dnt think anything else mattered to her.. bechara use friend banaya and then she cheated him after proposing him…. his baby………….

Geet go and study… no more of this now. U can talk only things related to studying with me for next few days. Im in the study come only with course material if u have any doubt.

Maan gave a smirk. And gestured her to come with his eyes.

She walked straight to his side of the table. She wanted to make sure he had no ways to escape atleast physically.

Pucho.. kahan phaas gayi. He tried to look at the sheets she was holding.. it had some stupid date calculation.

She knew by his expression that he wud get up and leave. in order to stop him she hurriedly sat down in his lap.

Maan was stunned seeing her and dropped his hands on both sides of the chair in surrender.

I cant tell u how it feels to be when u land up in such situation… I cared for her… she meant nothing but a friend to me.. she dragged the relation to next level by saying I love u in public.. till then i never confessed or showed any indication of love becoz I didn't. I had no such feelings for her. but then I didn't want to hurt her feelings..

Geet slowly slipped out of his lap and sat on the table.

Who knew the first day itself was planned for her… I lived in its guilt for so long and she kept using me… I was nothing more than a means to fulfill her needs.. her dreams of high life.. dresses..parties…friends… I was a mere money vending machine..an ATM. I paid her bills..solved her problems…. Protected her... was a chauffer from home to college and malls… paid her rents and bills… these were her needs and feelings for me… she means nothing… nothing to me…. she was a cheat and I was cheated…. She made me this… I dnt believe in people now.

And the drama she was playing in office was just an attempt to get to me. that time she found better opportunity and she moved on today I seem to be a good opportunity to her. what better than rekindling old relation than working on a new man. In her eyes I was a fool to be cheated who can be cheated again… a good rich boyfriend to flaunt. That's it.

There is nothing more to be disscussed… all I did wrong was with that innocent life…………..

So that makes it. In that cycle u were not there in delhi.

U had a fight with her before going and so.. I mean… u werent doing it.. u understand what I mean..by doing… so.. u didn't do so no..

She rolled her eyes and looked in the paper just not looking at him. she moved her hand on her neck to hide her embarrasment disscussing these things with him.

She waited for his answer and was trying to formulate better words to explain the situation if he didn't understand her point. She bit her lips. She didn't know how will he react.

Accepting such rude facts are tough on u.. it was hard for me to digest so I dnt expect u to be cool about it. Geet saw him walking thru the corridors of gynae dept of the hospital. She was stunned to see him there. She had came to meet tammy alongwith nuts after finally finishing there papers.

Ok so Mr. khurana is into clearing his doubts. Chalo jaise bhi atleast by meeting a gynae he must have convinced himself that's y he was smiling. When someone betrays u so badly how difficult it becomes to accept raw facts.

Nuts rushed to her hurrying her and tammy for the shopping they had to do.
