Chapter 47

Recap -

Khushi: "I - F.. fou - nd - it.." She stammered with her lips trembling badly. They were dry. But she didn't let the smile fade from her face. Even when her body wasn't supporting her anymore.. Khushi collapsed on the ground in front of Arnav's eye who was stunt and afraid to see her lying on the ground. Lifeless!

Part 44

Arnav: "Khushi . . ." He hold her in his arms, wrapping her body giving her his manly heat. "Khushi . . Open your eyes.. Please open your eyes.. For God sake open your eyes... DAMN IT..!!" From soft his voice turns aggressive. If she doing this on purpose he wouldn't spare her.. But Arnav knew she won't do such act to make him worried. Her face skins and lips were the clear evidence that she caught cold. She was ill last night and now wrapping at the ice slope wasn't a good idea for her being sick.

Suddenly, he felt weak moments from her end. Hurriedly, Arnav called her and take her close to his body. Maybe, his body could give her some warmness.

Arnav: "Baby . . Open your eyes.." She did as been asked.

Khushi: "Ar - . . ." Her voice stuck in her throat. The little strength that left in her body already drain while she collapsed.. The cold wind was pricking in her bones making it weaker than ever.

Arnav: "Ssshh . . . You don't have to speak anything.." He tried to make her remain quiet so that her one percent energy won't fade in the process. For him seeing her awake was the only relief he could find.

Khushi: "I - I - F.. ound t - he bra - ce - lat . . ." She showed him the chain she was holding in her grip. A smile of satisfaction spread on her pale face. No doubt she still looked beautiful.

Arnav: "I know . ." He hugged her taking her whole body within his muscular arms. Khushi's rested her chin on his shoulder. Her lips were trembling while her hands locked between the hug.

Khushi: "I - m sor - ry . . ." She bites her lower lips, controlling her tears from shedding down. "Sor - rry Ar - n..." Her words disappeared when her whole strength went down. Arnav pulled her back from his embrace with his left hand gripping her from back while his right palm touched her cheeks.

Arnav: "Khushi.. Khushi..??" He patted her trying to awake her from the slumber she consumed. She can't sleep.. That's what he kept repeating within his mind. "Listen . . . If anything happened to you I won't forgive you ever.. I swear I won't..!! . . . Did you hear me..??" He shouts in anger and worried. His eyes already moist seeing no blood running on her face.. She was looking dull and ghosty. He had no idea what might be going inside her body but the only step he could take right now was taking her out from the slope premise and run to get a medical treatment for her draining body.

The moment Zain, Aman, Mahi, Krystal and others saw Arnav coming out from the gate carrying Khushi in his arms, they rushed to get them. Arnav shouted for the rescues to get her to the nearby hospital.

Nearly 30 minutes passed with the Doctor diagnosing Khushi in the ward. Whereas, they occupied the corridor waiting for the Doctor to update them about Khushi's condition. Arnav stood close to the ward door with other taking the benches. Zain was busy with his mobile probably contacting Khushi's brother and her Nannu.

The entire silent and no reaction from Arnav was irking Krystal. Until now, she wasn't able to accept the fact that the girl was Khushi? How can she be so stupid for not seeing anything from Khushi's eye? Well, Khushi might hide the love but she being a women, it couldn't been that tough. Or maybe she doesn't want to know about the only women who already created a place in her fiancs heart..!

Krystal: "We need to talk Arnav.." The three pairs of eyes looked at the scene which about to happen soon.

Arnav: "Not now.." He denied as he didn't want to leave Khushi alone here even when others were present too.

Krystal: "Just because of Khushi you can't treat me like this..!!" She literally raised her voice.

Arnav: "Not now Krystal . . We can talk later..!" He tried to take her reaction calmly.

Krystal: "Just tell me is our wedding still ON?" That question didn't take a second for Arnav to answer it.

Arnav: "It's not going to happen.. Not now.. Not then.. It's over..!" Zain and Aman shared a glance before looking back to an already broken relationship.

Krystal: "You can't be so cruel to me ASR just because of Khushi..!!" She snapped angrily making few eyes of stranger glance them continuously.

Arnav (Angirly): "Stop this drama here Krystal... It's not because of Khushi but ME..! I told you before clearly that I love someone else. No matter what you does I can never love you ever in my life.. It's you who wanted to carry on with the engagement not me.. If you had back off then, this day won't come..!" Krystal was lost of words. What he said was indeed true. It was she who didn't want to end their relationship. She thought she might succeed to win Arnav Singh Raizada's heart. But least she knew he already closed all the possible way for someone else to enter in the private den which he named for Khushi only.

Krystal stood like a statue thinking what she had to now. She can't run behind a man who didn't love her. He might be her fianc but now their engagements already meet the end. There was nothing left for her to fight for.

However, Zain and Mahi came forward and took Krystal away from the mishaps. She might need space to overcome her brokenness. Whereas, Aman followed them too after Arnav seeking for his own space.. But a phone call on Arnav's mobile disturbed his space. He knew the caller ID. It belongs to a family.

After few minutes, the Doctor came out from the ward with a Nurse beside him. Arnav approached the Doctor to get the info of Khushi's health.

Arnav: "How is she?" He asked the moment he saw the white uniform Doctor. The Nurse leaves them alone and resumed back to her duty.

Doctor: "She was suffering from a mild hypothermia. Any more delay in bringing here could have cost her life... But seems God loves her more, to give her another opportunity to live.. She is fine now.. After 8 hours she will be able to open her eyes.." The Doctor patted Arnav's shoulder assuring him that the women in the bed are perfectly fine now. There is nothing to worry.

Arnav: "Thank you Doctor.." He shared a formal handshake with the Doctor before he began with what he had planned. It's time to create distance from everyone here for time being. He couldn't risk the only opportunities he had before Khushi opened her eyes. She might reject him again because of Krystal and her tears. In this few months, he already studied Khushi Malhotra's nature. For others happiness she could go at any extend even when it's only causing pain to her. Now, he can't give his love to anyone even in the process he was going to commit a crime.

Next morning -

Aman and Zain walked in the hospital to visit Khushi. Arnav already informed them last night that Khushi was out of danger and now resting. He strictly, didn't allow them to meet her though she needed a place to rest. Besides, due to the medicines she would only able to open her eyes after eight hours. From the note, they left to their respective rooms thought of visiting her today. Mahi was asked to pick Sanjay at the airport. Whereas, Krystal wasn't in term of accompanying them..

They entered in the ward with Aman and Zain carrying a big smile on their face. They wanted to make her smile after what had happened in her life, recently. But the smile dropped when their eyes fell on the empty bed. Aman hurriedly stopped the Nurse who passed by.

Aman: "Nurse, where is Khushi Malhotra?" Even Zain turn to look at the Nurse..

Nurse: "She had been discharged last night under Arnav Singh Raizada's responsibility." Aman and Zain's eyes popped up in disbelief. So it was planned by ASR that he stopped their visit last night? Aman started to think deeper, trying to clear the doubts.

Zain: "Where did he take her? Did he leave any note?" He asked while Aman was found busy dialing Arnav's mobile. Seem, the call had been picked up by the operator machine.

Aman: "I can't get him.." He told, looking at Zain. The Nurse already excused from the ward, leaving them alone. Aman and Zain were not only worried for their whereabouts but also on what they going to answer Sanjay when he find out his sister is missing?

Zain: "But what made Arnav to take such step?" There was a voice from behind asked which step? Zain and Aman gulped down in nervousness finding Sanjay Malhotra standing in front of them. They had no clue what excuses they could give Sanjay about Khushi missing from the hospital and so does Arnav. Sanjay already had a high time with Arnav Singh Raizada which led to a big argument of the duo. They couldn't get along starting from day one.

Sanjay: "Why you both staring me like this? .. Where is Khushi?" He asked with his eye scanning the entire room. He couldn't find her.

Aman: "She .. She ..." Aman didn't know what and how he should inform Sanjay.

Sanjay: "Zain.. Where is Khushi?" When he didn't get any answer from Aman he asked Zain who was in equal state like Aman. Stumbling with their tongues..!! "I'm asking something where is Khushi??" This time he raised his voice out of curiosity. He was already worried for his sister during the entire journey and once reaching here he found nothing. He just wanted to meet her and take a sigh of relief that she is fine now. But the two men in front of him was twisting the time and making him impatient.

Aman (Taking a deep breath): "Khushi is missing, Sanjay.." His eye open wide. Did he hear it correctly or something went wrong with his ears..? This can't be true. Sanjay mourned in his heart.

Sanjay: "What?"

Zain: "What Aman said is true Sanjay.. She is missing from last night from this Hospital.. Arnav took her with him.." That alarmed Sanjay.. The name of Arnav Singh Raizada was enough to rage out his anger. The trouble maker!

Sanjay: "Where the hell did he took Khushi? Is he out of his mind? Did he realized that he just kidnapped my sister..??!!" Sanjay never likes Arnav and his behaviour. So does, he wasn't aware about the story the two shared.

Thousand milestones away a private jet touched down the ground of Cape Town Airport. The securities guard helped Arnav Singh Raizada, by clearing his way towards the Mercedes Benz. Arnav lifted a sleeping Khushi in his arms and make her seat on the backseat of the vehicle. During the entire journey, she had no clue where she had been flown. Probably after one or two hours she would be awake. Steady! The Nurse was kept close to Khushi to check her pulse and BP for every one hour. Starting from the journey and now, her condition was stable but yet Arnav didn't want to risk her life. He knew he shouldn't take a rush step by bringing her here but at the same time he couldn't take anymore shits from either Khushi or the family. If she doesn't want to fight then he would fight!
