Chapter 3 : When Her Heart Broke
Having happiness in her heart , Khushi stepped inside the room .
"Arnav ji..."
Arnav turned to her with eyes filled with anger .
Khushi's smiling face turned to a fearful one .
She was looking so frightened .
Arnav approached to her "Where were you when I left your amma's home ?"
Khushi "I went to my neighbours Arnav ji .."
Arnav "Oh yes !!! They all are more important to you than your husband right ?"
Khushi's voice was getting low and even low while Arnav's voice was going louder and louder in anger .
Arnav "And this ...How can you be so careless ? You threw this necklace on the floor . Dint your mother taught you anything ?"
Khushi's heart broke by such words of Arnav . She lifted her eyes to Arnav's face continuously staring at him . Those eyes wanted some love , some affection . She would have cried badly at that moment if anyone would have come to her and said a single affectinable word .
But she controlled herself and said in a very gentle voice "I am sorry Arnav ji . I wont do such thing again . Please calm down ."
Arnav "No !! You should get some punishment for this . Amma will keep this necklace . Whenever you want it , you can ask from her ."
Manorama and Anjali were listening everything from outside .
They hugged each other that their plan got successful .
Arnav shouted "Amma !!!"
Manorama came inside "Kya hua beta ?"
Arnav "Now you will keep this necklace ."
Khushi's face dint even showed any expression because for her these things hardly matters . She dint wanted any jewellery .
Khushi "Arnav ji .. You can give all the jewelleries I will ask them from when I will need them ."
Manorama smirked and thought "Hmm You are trying to win my son's heart . I will never let this ."
Manorama in a sad tone "Arnav , leave it beta ...I think Khushi is saying this in anger and in sarcasm way ."
Arnav looked at Khushi in anger "Dont teach me what I should do and what not . She is my amma ... "
Khushi just bowed her head .
Arnav gave all the jewelleries to Manorama .
Manorama's mind suddenly hitted another idea .
Manorama "Arnav ...I think we should sell all these jewelleries to get 1 lakh rupees . But ...these jewelleries ..."
Arnav "Amma ...!! No . These jewelleries are now yours . We cant sell our house's respect . The one whom I thoight will help us in this showed a clear No "
Khushi understood what Arnav was saying .
She said "Arnav ji !! Amma actually doesnt have any money . She has already bidded our house . How can she give you 1 lakh rupees . Sasuma ...you say na ,..,."
Manorama left from tehre saying "It is between you and him "
Khushi just stared at Manorama .
Arnav "But your mother could have asked from your relatives . Okay leave it now ...I dont want to get more angry ..."
Khushi left from there .

Manorama and Anjali were talking .
Anjali "Amma !! This Khushi is now useless . We cant get any money from her ."
Manorama "But she has to pay it anyhow . Now i want her to leave this home . I will remarry my son . I will make Khushi's life hell that she herself will run away from this house ... See "
Manorama called Khushi .
Manorama "Khushi ...bitiya ...today our maid dint came . Can you please wash all the clothes and utensils ."

Khushi went in backyard to wash so many clothes and utensils .

There , everyone was on dining table and Khushi was still doing her work . Arnav finished his food and left .

Manorama "Dont waste food . Give it to Khushi . She is just useless . And also she will leave this house soon like a cat ."
Khushi listened this from behind .
Her innocent heart broke a 1000 times on listening this .

Khushi went to Manorama's room . They were sleeping .
Khushi "Amma !!!"
Manorama and Om woke up .
Khushi was standing in front of them.
At that time , she was not looking like a coward and bechari woman . She looked so brave and determined .
She said in a very determined tone "I know that you will not stop harming me and taking more and more work from me . I know the more i will go tolerating your things , you will do even more .
But I will NEVER leave this house . Do whatever you want but I will never leave this house ."
And she left .
Manorama and Om were shocked on watching this avatar of Khushi .
Manorama "You said that she is like a cow , very innocent and see how she is ..."

Arnav was lying on the bed .
Khushi "Arey . when did you came Arnav ji ?"
Arnav "Just now Khushi "
Khushi too lied on the bed . They turned off the lights ."
Khushi closed her eyes .
Arnav looked at her and putted her hand over her arm "Khushi ...??"

Precap : Garima watched Khushi doing so much work and tolerating all the scoldings .
She decides to collect 1 lakh rupees .
