Chapter 7

The next day Khushi had been late for school and was all apprehensive about her project and that made her remember Payal's which she had asked Shayam to originate. She hit her palm on her forehead thinking what would Payal do to her when she'll reach.

As soon as Khushi made her way in the premises, She could see that the Morning conduction had ended and spotted Lavnaya doing her duty. Lavanya waved at Khushi giving her a bright smile to which Khushi nodded and before joining Lavanya for their morning scheduled duties, she made her way towards her friends who were all engrossed chortling and some of their own escapades or their Always-Wonderful Assumptions.

"Hey Guys!" Khushi greeted them all.

"Oh.. Finally You came!" Payal spoke more as a mock While Khushi frrowned and looked at the rest of her friends and Nk Shrugged.

"What's Wrong Now?" Khushi Sighed.

"Uh.. forget it. Its of no use to discuss." Payal told her getting back to talking to others. and So did others almost forgetting that khushi stood there. According to them because Khushi was supposed to join lav but Once again Khushi was hurt? Nope. She felt left out though she shouldn't. She went back to her work while others made their way to the classes.

"Is Someone Going to tell me Whats Wrong?!" Khushi said aloud reaching the classroom which had no sign of any teacher, but the students roaming around.

"I'll tell.. I'll tell!" Aman volunteered excitedly, but the next moment getting a glare from Anjali he hushed.

"Anj-" Khushi spoke but she felt too bad, and all her questions had fledhowever out of her mind for that instant. She had been very very and devotedly attached to her friends though she had seen a very hard time paying for this friendship as Since last years she had been the only one being pointed out for no reasons and being left out sometimes by her own friends, well that's normal, but only when its same with everyone and here it wasn't. however.. She knew She has to go with the same. may be not forever but all these years when all of them are together, she can't stay away from these people. never!

Seeing Khushi's blear eyes and Expressions Anjali quickly pulled up a smile and Hugged Khushi, "Hey! Nothing.. Its just that you didn't tell and was absent. we missed you Khush!" Khushi didn't reply as she wasn't satisfied by Anjali's answer and Anji understood so she spoke again, "We were simply teasing you!" khushi smiled and they broke apart.

The Class began, and Lavanya and Khushi sat together.

"You know why they were ignoring you?" Lavanya asked.

"You'll tell me?"

"You and Arnav paired up for the project right? Unlike other days." Lavanya highlighted the reason but Khushi interrupted her, defending herself and mentally cursing LG.

"But.. I was absent taht was upto you guys to choose me. When he told me this. I thought You people were enough and Didn't needed me in your group."

"No! He specially went to the teacher and requested and taht Urgh teacher Made everyone change the groups and pairs."

"and Ths made everyone point at me once again.. " Khushi whispered as the teacher gave them a warning look.

"Not actually but when Arnav presented his project to the teacher as was appreciated by everyone in the school and we thought its him, even i'm impressed but then he told everyone that you guys made it together so you also hold the credits & You know Ma'm.Avanti, she gave an earful lecture in the starting of the day to us of how to make and present things." Lavanya whispered back and ended with an irritated look.

"Oh I'm Sorry!" Khushi sympathised knowing how great Miss.Avantika's lectures could be. and Continued, "Well.. yes We made that Together and Yaar, Obviously we both tried our best and I always do! You know that." Khushi said placing her head on top of her fat book placed on the table in front of her and Lavanya simply nodded.

"Yeah and You know our silly besties.. They are just like this!" Lav said smilling while scrunching her eyebrows trying to remember what she was supposed to tell Khushi but couldn't recall.

"and Sheetal added Spice!" Khushi groaned and Lavanya Smirked.

Arnav came catching his breath as if he had ran miles. Khushi had known he was present but hadn't seen him at all as if he was invisible, and neither anyone talked about him and even she didn't ask his whereabouts but seeing his state she could easily tell Miss.Avantika had caught him and had took favours from him making him run from a corner to corner of the school helping her, She Wondered Why would he do that bunking a class?!

Entering the class he told the teacher that the Principal had asked for Khushi Gupta. and gave a smile to Khushi which she returned and it finally struck her, he did it! he would have remade the project all by himself as he said but in the same orientation that she had decided by his help.

Lavanya grinned seeing the exchange of smiles and before leaving the class Khushi gave her a stare and she quickly thinned her lips.

"Barun was asking about you!" Lavanya told Khushi who was bout to exit the class and Khushi grinned remembering him.

Arnav and Khushi were appreciated by everyone and Were on top of the world. after all they really worked hard.
