PART 3. EK AUR DHOOM DHADAKKA

Khushi smiled happily as the Pandit announced the couple to get up and do the Saat Phere. She always felt the Saptapadi was the most beautiful ritual in a marriage and she was always eager to watch it happening. As the couple continued to do the rounds of the pure fire Khushi threw flowers on them along with rest of the people around her.

As Khushi turned around to get more flowers, she came face to face with Arnav. Luckily she did not crash with him right now. "Hatiye baaju!", she told him as she wanted to get more flowers without missing the Saptapadi. Arnav raised an eyebrow at her, "What? Why should I move?" Khushi looked at him incredulously and huffed. Not wanting to create a scene she looked to her sides but unfortunately she was surrounded by people throwing flowers as Paayal and Aakash did their Saptapadi. Her only way out was Arnav moving and Mr. Akdu seemed to be not interested in moving.

Khushi glared at him, "Dekhiye! Humein ghussa mat dilaaye! Hatiye yahaan se!" Arnav smirked at her and folded his hands against his chest, "Nahi hatunga! Kya karlogi?" Khushi's eyes widened, "Dekhiye! Humein ghussa mat dilaaye! Hum ghusse mein kuch bhi kar dete hain!" Arnav looked at her amusedly, "Oh really?" Khushi nodded. Arnav gave her a smug smile and leaned towards her. He whispered softly to her, "Kya karogi? Mujhe maarogi, peetogi ya kiss karogi?" Khushi's jaw dropped open at his words. Hey Devi Maiyya! Yeh Akdu aisi baatein kyun kar rahe hain? Abhi inhein mazaa chakhaati hoon! But before she could say anything the Panditji announced that the Saptapadi was over. Khushi turned around and looked at the couple in horror. It was her sister's marriage and she missed the Saptapadi! All thanks to this Akdu, she missed her sister's saptapadi! She placed her hands on her hips and turned to look at Arnav with anger bubbling in her eyes, "Aapne humaare Saat Phere miss karwa diye! Shaadi ki humaari favorite part aapne miss karwaa di! Jab hat ne ko bola tab hate kyun nahi?" Arnav just shrugged and looked at her innocently, "You did not say please, so I did not move!" "Kya?", Khushi asked in shock as Arnav gave her a smirk and walked away leaving a fuming Khushi behind.

Khushi looked up and mumbled, "Hey Devi Maiyya! Kis ghade se paala padwa diya aapne! Achcha hoga ki yeh Akdu humein phir kabhi na mile!" She looked down and consoled to herself, "Bas kar Sanka Devi! Tumhein itni tension lene ki jaroorat nahi! Bas ek baar yeh shaadi ho jaane do! Phir tumhein iss akdu ki shakal phir se dekhne ki koi zaroorat nahi padegi!" She looked on as Aakash filled sindoor in Paayal's maang and tied Mangalsutr in her neck.
