PART 2. SECOND CRASH

Khushi grinned as the groom arrived. Haaye! Paayal Jiji aur Aakash Jijaji ki Jodi kitni khoobsurat hain, nahi? Hey Devi Maiyya! Humaare liye bhi ek aisa hi pyaar sa Dulha dhoondna! As the groom entered, Khushi stopped him and asked for money as it was her duty as the Saali of the Dulha. After lots of nagging and teasing, Aakash handed over the money which Khushi eagerly took away with a grin. After lots of teasing and jokes, groom was taken to the mandap and Khushi's eyes fell on Arnav who stood stoically beside Aakash looking serious and intimidating. Arre! Kitne ghussail hain yeh? Khushi wondered. Dekho toh! Bhai ki shaadi mein bhi maatam waala chehra leke ghoom rahe hain! Thoda has dete, muskura dete toh kya jaata! Aur chehre ki seriousness toh dekho! Koi bol sakta hai ki 25 saal ke hain! Harqatein toh saat sattaron waale jaisi hain! Arnav looked at her and Khushi's eyes widened and she looked down. Hey Devi Maiyya! Kahin uss Akdu Raizada ne humein dekh toh nahi liya! Bacha lena Maiyya! She looked up nervously and saw Arnav missing. She heaved a sigh of relief. Bach gaye! Chale gaye! Devi Maiyya! Humein us akdu se door rakhna please!

Soon, the mantra chanting ended and the Pandit called up for the Bride to sit in the Mandap. Garima told Khushi to come with her to bring Paayal down. Khushi smiled and turned around only to crash right into Arnav. Garima had walked away and did not notice Khushi stopping.

Khushi's eyes widened in shock and she shouted, "Aap?" Arnav was about to say something when Khushi spoke up, "Dekhke nahi chal sakte aap? Har waqt takraana jaroori hai kya?" Even though Khushi was still scared of Arnav, she remembered their fight enough to feel annoyed at him. Arnav's eyes narrowed. He remained quiet for few seconds and then as if coming out of stupor, he spoke up, "Tum ladkiyaan apne aapko samajhti kya ho? Jab dekho ladne ke liye ready rehti ho! Lagta hai ladne ke siva kuch aata hi nahi hai tumhein!" Khushi's jaw dropped open and she was about to reply something when Garima, who noticed her missing, hollered for her and she pointed a finger at Arnav, "Aapko toh hum baad mein dekh lenge!" Arnav rolled his eyes and she stormed away. But their fight was not over so easily. Another crash and bangs coming soon!
