Engagement Announcement 

The party was held in a yacht of the Shetty company near Marine Drive 

The yacht was decorated so elegantly that it was difficult to take your eyes off the gorgeous view of the Arabian Sea at night. 

Agyasta was waiting for the arrival of Rajveer, when he came Agastya himself went to welcome him into the party. 

At the party, Rajveer was greeted by a beautiful lady. She was wearing a gorgeous purple long dress which was glistening under the moonlight. 

“ Meet Miss Mahek Tripathi, my would be wife. She is a fashion blogger and also the brand ambassador of the Shetty company “

Rajveer's eyes fell on Mahek, he praised Agastya's choice in his mind. 

" Congratulations Agastya and Miss Mahek Tripathi, it's really nice to meet you here “

" Thanks a lot, Mr Ariyan. I'm so glad you came to our party. Only your presence enhances the charm of tonight and many more “ Mahek replies, blushing. 

Although Rajveer was busy chit-chatting with Agyasta his eyes were trolling for one, why was he so curious that even made himself curious about him? 

" Raj , did you like the arrangement??"

Rajveer nodded his head " Everything has been set up so nicely, It's really outstanding. “

" I know. It is because Vristhi has decorated everything. She has such amazing taste, everything she chose will grab the attention of people here tonight “

Mahek smiled and agreed with Agastya's compliment.

“By the day Jaan, where is Vristhi? “

Mahek smiled when Agastya addressed her romantically “Yehi pe toh thi.. okay let me check where she is. “Excuse me! “ last word she said to Rajveer specially 

Rajveer gave her an acknowledged glance.

Mahek Found Vristhi standing alone a little away from the party zone. Hearing the sound of heels, Vristhi regains her consciousness.

“ What are you doing here? Did you know Aagstya was asking me about you? Moreover, Mr. Ariyan loves your decoration. “

Vristhi looked at her friend. She gives her a weak smile.

Mahek's eyes land on Vrishti as if it were “ Miittu, if you keep yourself busy alone you will never come out of the cocoon of your past. 

Vristhi stared at her friend. She felt embarrassed seeing the efforts of their friends just to make her happy. Lightened the burden of her chest. 

" I just wanted to spend some time alone with myself. “

“ Mittu, You have to try dear. We are all with you. We love you that's why we try our best to keep you busy with the things you really enjoy “

Mahek took Vristhi into the party zone.

Rajveer was talking with Agastya, suddenly he paused when attention was stolen by the appearance of someone coming into view.

That someone was none other than Vristhi  

His gaze flickers across her body, trailing up gradually as he consumes a sweet seducing poison so intoxicating he could hardly get back to his senses. In a red sleeveless Slim Bodycon Corset Maxi Dress with Spaghetti Strap, he found her damn hot.

It was the first time he saw her with open hairs floating behind her back. 

His eyes trace every inch of her as she comes towards him. 

Rajveer felt a heat of blooms in his stomach, spreading like wildfire across his skin from one look.

A few black tendrils of hair came in front above the curve of her breasts.

She tucks it behind an ear decked out behind as soon as it comes. 

Rajveer dragged his eyes away from her curve toward her face. The soft skin across her neck is meant to entice. 

As his eyes locked on her, 

Vristhi was staring at him too.

Finally, both the girls reached the boys and stood before them. 

Vristhi had noticed Rajveer eyeing her for so long. She tried hard not to show any ounce of discomfort to him. She knew she could handle this with her smooth and polite demeanour. 

“ Mittu where you were? " 

“ I was just there for a few moments, sorry I didn't realise you were looking for me?! “ She had a veil of embarrassment on her face 

Rajveer noticed when Agastya addressed Vristhi as “Mittu “.. he repeated the name in his mind, and a hushed smile crept on his lips.

“ Forget about that. Chil. I know. Anyway you'll be cloud nine of happiness as Mr Ariyan I mean Raj loves the arrangements “

Vristhi's eyes shifted from Aagstya’s excited full face to the Large masculine physique standing exactly next to him. 

Her eyes trail across his body. He was wearing an expensive custom navy blue fabric suit that hugged his body as if each thread were made only for him. His muscular chest was hidden behind the white fabric as if someone had sewed material into his skin. 

She landed her eyes on his dark black hairstyle set with gel without a single hair out of line and his stubble shaved so accurately.

She understood Mr. Ariyan gave so much attention to him and his fashion taste was admirable to watch. 

“ Thank you so much, Mr… .” Vristhi paused realisation of their last day meeting

" I mean, Veer "

“ If anyone should be grateful it's only you, Miss.. Vrishti … what will fall short of praising your beau..I mean beautiful sense of decoration world “ His compliment pasted with flattering 

Vristhi glared at him with pressed lips. Her teeth hide beneath her bottom lips. 

In the middle of their conversation, a handsome man reached.  

“ Hey bholu and Dholu, you people Forget your handsome dost”

Mahek and Vristhi exchange a “ You-are-impossible" glance from either

“ You are too early for next year !?

“ What!" The man exclaimed in a dramatic tone

" Akhi! Zarur toh koi ladki tad Raha tha! “" Mahek teased

Vristhi laughed " btw koi mili ki nahi? “

Akhilesh glared at his best friends " I thought she was a girl but It was my bad luck finding her!" “

Both the girls burst out laughing

" I think in that case you should change the party! “ Mahek teased once again 

Three of them Burt's out in laughter 

Rajveer noticed Vristhi laughing so lighthearted. 

A heat loomed down his spine. Spreading tingling in his stomach. 

He was curious to know the identity of the man.

Then Agastya Said “ Akhi, don't worry your friend will Kill you if you don't attend tonight’s party! “

" She can even steal you in the middle of your private dating" Agastya winked 

Akhilesh laugh

Mahek rolled her eyes.

Vristhi just simply smiles at the bantering of the trio. 

Although he couldn't understand the sudden itchiness like the way Vristhi was smiling and laughing at the jokes of the man. 

He wanted her attention only for him. 

Meanwhile in the middle of their talking Agastya pulled Mahek onto the stage and announced grabbing everyone's attention

“ Good evening.. ladies and gentlemen. I am Agastya Shetty CEO and also owner of the Shetty company. Every year Our company throws this party. But this year we have three good things.. Yes, you all hear me right. 

One ) We get a partnership with the Aaryan group of companies, one of the wealthiest and most Eligible Companies in real estate, and marketing. 

Everyone applause with happiness

Second) guess… 

Everyone shouted ..Mahek and Blushed ..

“ Yes, you hear me right… I Miss and Mahek Triphati are soon going to tie the knot in the upcoming month.

Vristhi's eyes formed water seeing her best friend radiating with happiness.

Akhilesh claps and gives whistles, his eyes are loathing with all shades of happiness. “ Yaahoooo!!! Bholu and Mr. BHALU heartwarming congratulations. May God bless you both with hundreds of children. ”" 🎉🎉

Agastya's laughter went louder after hearing Akhilesh's teasing wishes. Mahek's eyes wide open, flushing her cheeks. 

“ and last but not the list … .. After going through discussion with so many wings of Shetty Company … 

We got our new Managing director.. Mis. Vristhi Agrawal! Please give a lady applause everyone “

Vristhi put her hands over her mouth. She could hardly believe her ears. Although she works really hard 

Everybody knew about it.

Akhilesh hugged his best friend.

He noticed her innocent eyes drainage under salty water.  It was the years of happiness, sweet fruits of her tremendous efforts for her job. 

Mahek came down from the stage and hugged her bestie.

The trio hugged at the same time.

Vristhi stole a glance from Agastya who nodded his head with smiling. 

“ Thank you so much Sir."

“ Mittu you work really hard. And I'm giving you what you deserve “

Everyone congratulated Mahek and Vristhi 

Vristhi reached the stage and hugged her bestie.

Mahek too was doing the same.

“ Congratulations darling"

“ Thank you so much dearie and heartwarming wishes to both of you “ 

Five minutes later music played on..

Agastya was looking very excited. He held Mahek’s hand and took her to the dance floor.

Vristhi noticed that she had never found them so happy before.

Akhilesh found a girl who was eyeing him for so long. Although he showed his interest in her and took her to the dance floor.

Vristhi thought she had forgotten her pain seeing her closer one smiling and celebrating their happy phase of life from the bottom of their soul. 

Rajveer there looking for an opportunity before anyone approached her, he extended his hand so elegantly that it was difficult to reject him.

“ May we dance ?" 

Vristhi was startled upon his approach first.

She wasn't in the mood to dance. But she didn't disappoint Agastya. If Mr Ariyan gets upset, Agastya will be upset and if Agastya is upset means Mahek will be upset. It was just a matter of dance, not a big deal. 

Rajveer tries to study her expressionless face. “What so long he was thinking 

As much he knew how other girls were staring at him with hungry eyes to gain only a single attention from him. Here he offers himself to the stunning beauty standing in front of him. But perhaps she is blind” He chuckled 

Vristhi replied “ Sure" 

Rajveer let out a tiniest sigh " Thank God! Finally, she has the brain. Unless I thought the phrase was right beauty has no brain " 

Vristhi put her right hand over Rajveer's Left shoulder. As soon as she felt his hand Swift around her waist. She thought her waist became narrow on a touch of his strong palms around her small back.

Mortification flushed in her skin when she found his gaze as dreamy as magnetic focus against her orbs. Dark hair. Whiskey eyes. exquisitely chiselled face kuddus to the artistry for sculpting such attractive physique . 

His grip was strong.

Vristhi wasn't the person who continued eyeing over every random man , but she accepted he is handsome that any young who could lose their heart on his charm . 

Rajveer interlocks his fingers against her.

Her lavender cologne filled his lungs. He thought.

As he saw her eyes land on him, he thought to keep every ounce of that only for him. Her lush eyes, he had a desire to consume every ounce of juicy lips only of him , the curve of her neckline, to kiss and leave a bite mark of his teeth there . He wanted to do so many things to her only  if she allowed him to . 

“ So Miss new Managing Director, congratulations on your success “

" Mr. Veer you already congratulated me for that “ Her reply was straightforward yet she maintained the politeness of her tone.

Rajveer watched her golden chain earrings radiating their sparkles under the disc lights 

Rajveer chuckled lightly “ Yeah I remember but when anyone works hard so much they deserve to be praised. “

" Thank you Mr. Veer "Pride lit a defiant spark in her eyes. Vristhi found his words hypnotic and his vision was dreamy. 

“ Can I address you as Mittu .??. I just heard Agastya called by this name “They were still dancing holding each other's arms. 

Vristhi looked at him with a surprised gaze " I didn't think about it before you observed so much!"

He got a chilly sensation from his chest moving gradually down . 

A slow, lazy smile tugged at his lips. “Smart gir“..Whyn't my closer one say that I'm a great observer instead ”

Vristhi smiled a little. 

“ Then I'm calling you , as Mittu .." Rajveer took the name with so much delicacy

" Sure “

" .  Why do people address you as Mittu??" Showing interest behind the history of having her nickname 

Rajveer caught a glimpse of flushing across her cute cheeks

“ I loved parrots, that's why my mother gave this name to me! " 

" That's really nice to hear”

" Thank you “ Virtshi chuckled 

" No doubt your Mother is too a pretty lady I can say that .. unless she didn't have a beautiful daughter ! “

Vrishti's right eyebrows lifted after hearing his flattering compliment “ Mr. Veer are you trying to impress me!

" No Mittu , I'm saying what I presumed"" 

Vrishti laugh a little

Rajveer loved one her asking nevertheless he change the topic “By the way Mittu I'm also a very good reminder”

Vristhi's eyebrow pulled down in the middle “ I didn't understand?" 

"  Let me explain.. 10 days ago I was robbed by two goons on the road late at night in Surat. When I visited for a business meeting. In the morning when I get back. I got to know from my friend and also the hospital doctor that two girls saved my life. I wanted to show my gratitude to those brave girls who saved me without caring about their own lives. One of them's names was Vristhi Agarwal . But unfortunately, I couldn't meet them as they left for Delhi. And they work in the Shetty company. “

Vristhi looked at Rajveer with a gap, She couldn't imagine he had gone through this way to find out her identity. 

“ Toh Mittu, Finally I got my saviour. I won't insult you by only saying thank you. As you did so much very few did nowadays “

" Mr. Veer”

He corrected " Only Veer”

Vristhi smiled gently" Veer .. you don't need to think much about this. It was our duty being a human being"

“ But I wanted to give a reward for saving my life"

“ Veer.. I didn't do that by thinking of getting a reward. My Friend Mahek and I both save you to show humanity. And if anyone apart from you would be there we will do the same.. I never did good things keeping a motive behind “

Rajveer stopped dancing. He gasped at her. His eyes focused on her determined eyes.

“ She really said that to me.. Rajveer Ariyan..or she pretended to be good “ He asked himself 

Vristhi stared at Rajveer for a few minutes. The familiar sound of her ringtone dragged her out of her thoughts. Rajveer even landed back to reality before he slipped too far down into his thought of spiral.

“ Veer , Excuse me "

" Oh.. “ her voice landed him back to reality 

She loses her grip.

Rajveer cursed the caller for the sudden interruption. He could easily grab her attention tonight. 

Vristhi came out of the party zone, so she could talk freely with the caller. 

Rajveer was looking for her as it was too long “With whom she was talking ?" He asked himself

“ Boyfriend?? Click in his mind.

It was then he saw her standing alone gazing at the waves. 

Rajveer noticed she wasn't talking to someone on the mobile. Rather he found her as silent as a valley frozen under ice. 

Aware of the boot sounds, Vristhi wiped her eyes before he could understand anything. 

Rajveer noticed movement of her hands over her cheeks but he couldn't understand completely. He thought perhaps it was her open hair that kept brushing against her cheeks.

Rajveer walked slowly and stood exactly next to her 

“ Aap yahan hai Mittu.. I was looking for you at the party “

Vristhi's lips parted on a sharp exhale “ I'm sorry Veer.. I didn't realise you were searching for me! “Emmanuelle’s sycophantic voice buzzed like an irritating gnat in my ear.

"Mittu you don't need to apologise. Anyway, I think you are in love !"

Vristhi turned in and looked at him with a gap. 

Studying her surprising expression, He corrected himself 

“ I mean you're in love with this environment, this cool breeze as soothing as a shadow peepal Tree, those waves of the sea keep forming every moment.”

Vristhi didn't respond. She averts her arrow once towards the sea below 

" Btw how many waves have you counted? “" Rajveer said playfully 

" Veer did you need something?”"

“ Yes, you! “

" I mean nothing much, I just came here to get some fresh air. When I saw you here standing alone I Thought to talking to you. Vristhi if anything is bothering you you can share that with me. Perhaps I can help. “

Vristhi turned her head and faced him. Her eyes land on him

“Thank you so much Veer, for your concern. I can say that I will really enjoy your company. But I'm really tired, that's why I came here apart from that everything is just fine. Anyway, I think I should go back inside, maybe Mahek is looking for me! Excuse me “ 

Rajveer’s mouth closed after opening 

“ Sure !"

Vristhi began to walk past him. 

Rajveer didn't like it as it was the first time  Any girl had rejected him so politely before he could get a chance to express his words.

His eyes fixed ahead

 as she was leaving him dumb without caring about taking a single glance at him. 

“ Angel, one day I will bring you upon my knees. That day you can't resist the charm of Rajveer Ariyan, for tonight goodnight sweetheart.. because after this night you will only have dreams of Rajveer ``A devil chuckling lingered across his lips .
