Anand & Bela accept the marriage of Ronit and Sonakshi.

Sonakshi calls up Karan.

Karan: I was thinking about you. Is everything fine?

Sonakshi: Yes, everything is fine.

Karan: I got held up with some other work. I will meet you as soon as possible as I want to marry you soon.

Sonakshi: Relax, Karan. I want to tell you one thing.

Karan: Yes, tell me.

Sonakshi: I won't be able to marry you.

Karan: What?

Sonakshi: Do you remember that I shared about my life with Ronit?

Karan: Yes, I remember.

Karan: I just spoke to her. Sona got back her lost love & I am happy for her.

Rakhi: No problem, we will find a better person than Sonakshi.

Karan: Please, mom.

Mahesh: Come on, Rakhi. Give him some time to recover.

Naina's marriage had been fixed with Veer.

She invites everyone to her engagement with Veer.

Meanwhile, Preeta finds Karan shattered.

Preeta: What is the matter?

Karan: Leave me alone for some time.

Preeta: You have accepted me as a friend, so what is the problem in sharing your problem with me?

Karan: Sonakshi has decided to move on with someone else.

Preeta: Such a big betrayal. That's sad.

Karan: She had told me about her past, and I had accepted her.

Srishti enters Preeta's room with gold bangles.

Srishti: Mom told me to give you those bangles.

Preeta: What is the necessity?

Srishti: Everyone is really into jewelry & they fill their body with gold, but you don't want to wear even two bangles!

Srishti makes Preeta wear the bangles.

Srishti: It looks good on your hands.

Srishti to Karan: Now, Preeta looks elegant.

Karan smiles with a nod.

Srishti: I thought we lost you.

Raghuveer came to the room & said, "Preeta is very valuable to us & we won't lose her."

Srishti smiles.

Raghuveer: Leave them alone, now.

Karan: With whom did your father fix your marriage?

Preeta: Prithvi. My dad & Prithvi's father are close friends.

They leave.

Preeta: You had come to explain them, right?

Karan: Yes, but I will tell them the facts.

At night, Everyone meets at the dining table.

Karan & Preeta sit with everyone at the dining table.

Ramesh to Karan: Who are your parents & what are their occupations?

Karan: Mahesh & Rakhi are my parents. They were college professors & have retired.

Ramesh: What work are you doing? Are you even working?

Karan: I am working as a captain of the military army.

Ramesh: Preeta is my only daughter & is the property owner of billions of rupees.

Karan: I got to know that now.

Ramesh: I know you married Preeta only to become a billionaire overnight, but I won't let you accomplish your dreams.

Preeta: It is not like what you think.

Ramesh: Shut up. In these three years of your study in college, you have married this loafer.

Preeta: You don't have the right to make these comments without knowing.
