Part 4

Naina gets broken-hearted as she wanted to confess her feelings to Sameer. When she was about to leave, Sameer notices her.

Sameer: Naina, you have come at the right time.

Sameer: Sunaina, she's my best friend, Naina.

Sameer to Naina: She is Sunaina who has newly joined our college. She is my love.

Naina gives a fake smile and said, "Congratulations."

Sameer: Thanks a lot. 

Suddenly Naina's phone rings.

Naina sees Preeti's call & picks the phone.

Naina: Yes, Preeti, tell me.

Preeti: Taiji is creating problems at home. Please come fast.

Naina: What's the matter?

Preeti: I cannot tell these things over the phone. Please come.

Naina: Fine, I will come. Till then, don't lose your cool.

Naina: Sameer, I need to leave now. Will see you some other time.

Sameer: Bye.

Naina: Bye.

She leaves.

Sameer & Sunaina spend some time. The group joins them. They dance to the song:

Sunaina: I think we need to leave.

Sameer: Yes, you are right.

Both of them leave.

Sameer rides his bike. He sees Naina & said, "I will drop you home."

Naina: No thanks.

Sameer: What's the problem? It seems that you are upset. 

Naina: Nothing like that. I am worried about Preeti.

Sameer: I will drop you at your house within five minutes.

Naina agrees & gets into his bike.

Sunaina is not very far off & sees him with Naina. She gets insecure but decides to speak to Sameer the next day.

Sameer drops Naina.

Naina enters home & meets Preeti, Anand, Bela, Arjun, Naresh, & Beena.

Naina: What's the matter?

Beena: I am getting many complaints about Preeti & we should take strict action, but Anand & Bela disagree with me.

Naina: Tell me what's the matter.

Preeti: Taiji only says what I did, but she is not ready to listen to me.

Beena: Preeti has thrashed Bebo & Kitty in the college. Devi came to my house & complained here. Wherever she goes, she creates problems & now she's back-answering me.

Preeti: I thrashed Bebo & Kitty because they made fun of my friend, Anokhi. They commented about her way of dressing. They also said that I should not make friends with a village girl. When I was longing for their friendship, they showed attitude. For the first time, I am befriending a girl who is a topper in her studies. I thought Taiji would be happy, but she wants me to wear sarees every day, and she wants me to get married so that I would give up goondagiri. I accept that I am stylish, but I would be good only to those who would behave well with me.

Anand: Beena, that's what I was trying to tell you, but sorry to say that you have low-level thinking.

Naresh: If you guys cannot adjust with us, we should make a partition of this house.

Anand: I agree that Preeti is immature, but marriage is not a solution. She has every right to live & nothing is more important than my child's future. Even we would not like to live with you.

Anand, Bela, Naina, Preeti, & Arjun pack their luggage & shift to the house closer to Naina's college.

Naina & Preeti share the room, while Arjun is alone in his room. Anand & Bela take a bedroom for themselves.

Naina then recollects the relationship between Sameer & Sunaina & feels sad. The background song is:

Rocky & Happy chalk out the plan for the Aligarh trip where Sameer & Naina can meet.

The next day, Sameer said, "I had challenged you that I will get a better girl than any one of you. I completed my challenge. Sunaina is my girlfriend."

Rocky: I have a pleasant surprise for you. We shall go on the Aligarh trip on this vacation.

All boys & girls get excited.

Sameer sees Naina in the canteen.

Naina: Sit down.

Sameer sits.

Sameer: I am sorry for disturbing you as you are writing notes for me.

Naina: I am writing for Pandit.

Sameer starts feeling the pinch.

He thinks, "First, Naina was taking pains for me. But now she writes for Pundit."

Preeti & Anokhi meet Naina.

Naina: What a pleasant surprise! I remember those days we were doing combined studies & competing with each other.

Anokhi: Yes, I didn't know when did we become friends.

Bebo & Kitty came to that place and said, "Birds of the same feather flock together. Both are behenjis & bookworms."

Anokhi: Yes, books are the best friends. At least they don't trouble & rag others like you.

Preeti & Naina: Why should we talk to you when you don't respect us? We are middle-class people & are proud of it.

Sameer & Shourya arrive at the right time.

Shourya: Shut up, Bebo & Kitty. I guess you guys forgot the thrashing that you got from Preeti. It was good that Anokhi told me, otherwise I would have assumed the other way round.

Bebo & Kitty leave.

Shourya met Rocky. He said, "There has to be at least one lecturer for the trip."

Rocky: Of course.

Everyone goes to the class.

Shourya comes to the class & delivers the lectures in Economics.
