Part 3

The house elders with Ashwini invite many people to the SaiRat wedding reception.

Mohit and Karishma decorate the hall to impress the guests.

Ashwini gets Sai dressed up.

Ashwini: You are looking gorgeous.

Sai smiles.

Ashwini: I will check whether everyone has come.

She sees from the top and finds that guests have already come.

Ashwini brings Sai down, and the latter sits next to Virat.

Shailesh and Vaishali also attended the reception. They met Pakhi.

Pakhi notices Sai and Virat sitting together and gets emotional. While she was about to leave, Vaishali and Shailesh stopped her.

Vaishali: I know you are in an awkward situation, but you must control your emotions.

Shailesh: And it isn't Sai's fault that you think she snatched Virat from you.

Pakhi: I am tired, and I need to rest.

Pakhi goes to her room.

The reception ends.

Sai gets her 12th standard results. She tops the entire board.

Virat+Ashwini+Shivani+Mansi: Congratulations Sai! You have made it.

Virat: Sai, keep all the necessary documents ready. We have to go in for college admission.

Sai arranged all the documents. The next day, Virat and Sai are about to leave for college.

Bhavani comes on the way.

Bhavani: Where are you guys going?

Virat: We are going for Sai's college admission.

Ninad: We don't allow women to pursue their studies or work.

Virat: I have promised my mentor that I will take her responsibility.

Ashwini: If Pakhi would be in that place, would you have done the same?

Bhavani: No comparison. Pakhi is the approved DIL of our house, and we didn't agree to Virat's marriage with Sai.

Sai: You have not approved me as your DIL but want to enforce your right on me. Sorry to say, but you people have got old thoughts. I wouldn't have been between you guys if my father were alive. Even if you kick me out of the house, I don't care.

Bhavani: What an ill-mannered girl!

Pakhi: You have no respect for elders.

Sai: If you want to get respected, you guys should also give respect. You don't leave any stone unturned to put me down. I will do what I want, and when you have not accepted me as your family member, your rules don't apply to me.

Ninad comes forward to slap Sai, but Virat holds his hand.

Virat: You have been a police officer, and raising a hand on a woman doesn't suit you. If you misbehave with my wife, I will be forced to take strict action against you.

Virat and Sai leave for college.

Sai filled out the admission form.

Virat and Sai meet the principal after Sai completes the entrance exam in Xavier's college for MBBS.

After the second round, the college starts interviewing the students.

It is now Sai's turn.

She enters the cabin.

Astha: Sit down

Astha: I saw your photo in the newspaper that you have topped the Maharashtra board. It is an honor for us to give you admission to our college. Your class will start tomorrow.

Sai: Thank you, mam.

Astha: You are welcome.

Aniket also clears the entrance & gets admission to Xavier's college.

Aniket thinks: My gut feeling is that Sai would have been admitted to the same college.

Sai thinks: If Aniket studies in the same college, we can meet again.

Virat & Sai reach home.

The next day, Sai is about to leave for college.

Bhavani: Ladies are supposed to work in the kitchen.

Sai: Today is the first day of my college. I need to go.

Bhavani: Finish all the household chores, then you can go.

Ashwini: Sai is a new bride; today is the first day. She will do the work from tomorrow.

Sai: Yes, mom is right. I promise you that I will do the work tomorrow before I leave.

Bhavani: Fine.

Devyani is studying in the same college but is Sai's senior.

She is in her final year, while her boyfriend, Pulkit, is Sanjeevani Hospital's doctor. He has done his internship & is a visiting faculty member at Xavier's College.

Devyani: Wait, Sai, even I am coming with you.

Sai & Devyani get inside Virat's jeep and reach the college. Pulkit takes the first lecture.

Sai & Devyani meet Pulkit at the break.

Devyani: He is my boyfriend, Pulkit.

Sai: Hi Pulkit.

Devyani: Do you know him?

Pulkit: I am her faculty during the lecture. Sai, can we become friends?

Sai: Sure.

Aniket comes.

Sai: Aniket, she is my sister-in-law, Devyani.

Sai to Devyani: He is my friend, Aniket.

Aniket: Nice to see you.

Devyani & Pulkit go to the canteen, letting Sai & Aniket speak to each other.

Sai: I am glad that we met again.

Aniket: Even I am happy.

Sai: I am sorry that I had to marry Virat as the circumstances had forced me.

Aniket: I understand. But I am not able to forget you.

Sai: Even I can't forget you. But I want to tell you one thing.

Aniket: Yes, tell me. I hope you are happy.

Sai: I am not very happy. My husband & MIL are supportive.

Aniket: It will be better for you to come out of that marriage. I will marry you & accept you.

Sai: I told Virat Sir about you. My marriage with Virat is only on a contract. Once we complete our MBBS, I will leave that family & marry you.

Aniket: Yes, that should be fine. But five years is a long time & I hope you don't change your mind.

Sai: What if you fall for some other girl?

Aniket: That will never happen. Till we become doctors, we will be good friends.

Sai agrees.
