Virat enters the room.

Sai is still in her thought process.

Flashback continues.

Sai wanted to tell Kamal about her relationship with Aniket.

Kamal: Sai, I know you have got your wishes & dreams. I am very much aware of your relationship with Aniket. I don't have anything against him. You & Aniket make a good pair, but you need protection from these thugs and someone to take care of you. I know only Virat has that capability, though you are still studying.

Sai: As you wish, Dad.

A day before marriage, Pakhi, Mohit, and Karishma come to the village, as Virat had called them. 

Sai had called Aniket.

Aniket: Sai, I can understand your situation & I don't blame you.

Sai: Thank you for understanding. 

Aniket: Always, but keep in touch. Also, let me know to which medical college you are taking admission. I will join you there if possible. Otherwise, we will share the notes. 

Sai smiles.

Pakhi had married Samrat, who had disappeared.

Pakhi: When you have already decided to marry Sai, why did you call me?

Virat: I called you to tell you the truth & apologize, as I may not be able to do so later. I am sorry I couldn't keep up the word I gave you. I convinced you to marry Samrat with a promise that no other lady would enter my life, but the circumstances forced me to break my word.

Pakhi: I always heard people saying no one would wait for anybody, but now I have seen it live. Thanks for everything, Virat.

Virat & Sai meet.

Sai: Virat, I know that Pakhi & you are more than friends. I said yes to my father as I was helpless, but you could have backed out.

Virat: You know very well that I greatly regard your father. He was not only my mentor but was also a father to me after Ninad. So, I couldn't say no. I thought it over & I had concluded.

Sai: What is it?

Virat: You need not spend your entire life with me. Once you become a doctor, you can walk out of my life.

Sai: Just as you love Pakhi, I love Aniket. You told me that you cannot forget Pakhi; though she married Samrat, how can I forget Aniket when he is a bachelor?

Virat: You have a point & I promise I will unite both of you. If my responsibility is to keep you happy, I won't come in the way of your happiness. But I have certain conditions.

Sai: I agree with your terms.

Virat: You never bothered to know what they are?

Sai: I can make out. The first one is I should do the household chores. The second one is I should not do any such thing as an extramarital affair that will cause disgrace to the family.

Virat: Well, you need not do all the household chores alone, but you would need to assist the ladies in the kitchen & balance between your studies & family. It is only you & me who know Aniket. No one in my family knows that. So, it would help to control your emotions until you complete your studies. You know these things, but you have missed out on one thing.

Sai: What is that?

Virat: You won't tell about our deal to anyone in my family. We will pretend to live happily married, but there will be no such thing between us. I will only fulfill the duties of a husband & give you the respect of a wife. But I won't be able to love you as a wife.

Sai: Even if I can't give you my wife's love, I can respect you. So I agree.

Sai & Virat marry in the presence of all the villagers.

Pakhi & Aniket are distressed.

The marriage rituals are complete.

Virat & Sai were about to get into the car.

Her uncle said, "Take Usha with you."

Sai: More than Dad, she forced me to marry Virat. She need not come with us.

Virat: I have no problem with that. She can come with us.

All of them get into the car & reach Chavan Nivas.

Bhavani: Virat, I never expected this from you. If you wanted to get married, I would have called you a girl like Pakhi.

Virat: It was the circumstances that forced me to marry. I am incredibly sorry for that.

Ninad: Did you even bother to ask me before taking that step?

Virat: I did ask you indirectly, but you told me that duty is more critical & that was also a part of my duty. Her father sacrificed his life for me in the mission. So I must compensate.

Bhavani: This is a house, not a charitable trust, where we accommodate all orphans at our place.

Shivani: When you can accommodate Pulkit, why can't you adjust this girl? Pulkit is a guy & could have survived, but Sai lost her parents. Where will she go?

Bhavani: Shut up, Shivani. You have divorced twice. Your second marriage was with a guy who was half of your age. First, you are imperfect in your life to interfere in others' matters.

Pakhi: Aunt, I understand your pain, but we can't do anything as marriage has already occurred.

Bhavani relents.

Ashwini comes near Virat & Sai.

Ashwini: I know that you won't make the wrong decision. Pakhi, please decorate the house for grahapravesh.

Pakhi & Karishma do all the decorations.

Ashwini, Shivani, & Mohit give her a warm welcome.

Flashback ends

Virat comes to Sai.

Virat: If any of my family members humiliate you, don't hesitate to give them back. But don't flare up.

Sai: Fine.

Virat: Mom is calling you.

Sai meets Ashwini.

Meanwhile, Omkar, Sonali, Ninad, & Bhavani start plotting against Sai.

Sonali: I think we can keep Sai & Usha as servants.

Bhavani: Virat won't let it happen.

Sonali: Virat won't be at home all the time. So we can make use of it.

Bhavani agrees.

Ashwini: Sai, I know this marriage occurred when we didn't expect it, but I would like to conduct a reception.

Virat enters.

Virat: What is the need for that, Mom?

Ashwini: It is a part of our ritual & we must complete that.

Virat agrees.
