Geet: what are you saying?

Geet is scared that Arjun knows everything that happened that night

Arjun: I made a mistake Geet

Geet: I don’t understand

Arjun: I know about everything, Dev told me everything

Geet: what?

Geet goes pale hearing that…

Arjun: I killed Dev

Geet: how is that possible? It was an accident, if at all someone is to be blamed for that then it should be me, if only I had left with Annie itself, everything would have been good

Arjun: no Geet, you didn’t do anything wrong, it’s only me

Geet is relieved that Arjun doesn’t know much…

Geet: what did you do?

Arjun: I spiked the drinks

Geet: what?

Arjun: yes, it was me, not Dev

Geet can’t believe that…

Dev kept saying that he was innocent, Geet didn’t believe him…

Geet thought that it was all Dev’s plan… how wrong she was? A little introduction about Dev now….

You know that Annie was one year senior to Geet at college…

Arjun is Khuranas family friend…. He was doing PG at the same college…

He liked Annie a lot, Dev is his friend and class mate…. He hanged out with Annie and her friends along with Arjun at that time….

Though Arjun loved Annie deeply and he had dreams of a future with her, Annie always saw him as her bestie, she had no such interests in him…

Instead Annie liked Dev more, she had a huge crush on him which always pissed Arjun..

When Geet came to the campus, Dev instantly liked her .. he tried very hard to become friends with Geet ..

Arjun obviously helped Dev as a cupid…

Geet slowly started talking a few words with him, Geet knew about Annie’s interests in him and so she thought that she should have the courtesy to be friendly with him….

It was almost three months since Dev met Geet and he was desperate to tell her about his love for her…

Arjun was misleading Dev that Geet too had a liking for Dev but she is a very reserved and shy girl and that Dev should take the initiative…

He told that Geet’s birthday was a big opportunity for Dev to impress Geet…

Dev single handedly organized that party with inputs from Annie…

Arjun told Geet about that…

Arjun narrates what happened that night…

Dev wanted to tell Geet about his love that night and he asked Arjun to help arrange a meeting alone with Geet…

Arjun only told Annie to leave Geet back when Annie wanted to go home along with Geet…

Arjun: Annie, I’ll drop Geet myself, you don’t worry, the party has just started and even Geet is starting to enjoy the party, look at her

Annie saw Geet happy after a long time, she thought that Geet deserved it and she left…

Dev: Arjun, is everything ok?

Arjun: yes, don’t worry, Annie has left, Geet is here only

Dev: thanks

Arjun: anything for you

Dev: now what?

Arjun: you just wait her, I’ll come

Arjun brings the spiked drinks and gives to Dev…

Dev: what’s this?

Arjun: it’s just a mocktail, don’t worry, go and offer Geet a drink, see, she is alone looking for some company

Pinky had gone for a second round of snack leaving Geet behind…

Geet was waiting for Pinky .

Dev approached Geet…

Dev: happy birthday Geet

Geet: thanks, this is so good, thanks once again

Dev: it’s my pleasure

Geet looks nervous…

Dev: you don’t look like you are enjoying the party

Geet: nahi nahi, I’m enjoying

Dev: I know what you need

Geet looked at him puzzled..

Dev: have this, this will help you relax a bit

Geet would have even had a hard drink that time, she needed something to break the nerves…

Geet drank it along with Dev and that was the reason for all the miseries…

Maan came in search of Geet…

Geet did what she shouldn’t have done, she lost herself that night, yes, that’s when she committed that mistake…

Geet went home with Maan after that …

Later Dev drove the car fast and met with an accident which eventually killed him…

Geet got to know the news the next day…

Annie was devastated…. So was Geet….

Now Geet understood that Dev was killed in the accident because his drink was spiked by Arjun and Arjun was the one who spiked her drink too? ….

Arjun: yes, I killed Dev, I never thought that Dev would drive that night, I was waiting there to drop you both, I was looking for you two everywhere, I didn’t know how you two left, I swear I just wanted you two to have some fun, that’s all, luckily you were not in the car with him, that’s the only reason that’s kept me alive, I just wanted to know that you are happy, at least my silly prank didn’t harm you

Geet smiles sarcastically…

Geet: forget about that Arjun, you didn’t mean to harm anyone, it’s all our fate.
