Annie: Geet, tumne itne dher kyun kardhi? They are here, where’s bhai?

Geet: woh aathe hi honge

Annie: tum bhai ko jaldhi lekhe aao

Geet hesitates….

Maan too comes down…

Dadi is happy seeing them together…

Dadi: Maan, what’s this? It’s your sister’s Sagayi and you two are so irresponsible, you are supposed to be the first ones to welcome our guests as the latest Khurana couple, Geet, take the Arthi thali from Nakul and get ready to welcome the Khurana damad

Pari is keenly watching Geet, she is ready to accompany Maan…

Geet happily takes charge as the latest Khurana bahu, or Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana, to be precise…

The bridegroom’s family has arrived…

The Khuranas are ready to welcome them …

Maan is standing behind Annie and watching them…

Annie: bhai, aap apne damad ki swagat nahi karenge kya?

Maan: what?

Maan goes and joins them… he is at the back when Geet is at the front ready to take the Arthi….

Dadi pushes Màan to the front and makes him stand alongside Geet…

They have to act as a responsible bhai and bhabhi…

After the Arthi Geet has to apply tilak on Arvind’s forehead…

Geet stands on her toes but Arvind is very tall….

Arvind tries to bow down but his dadi stops him…

“nahi puttar, hummara ladhka aap ke samne nahi jhukega”

Dadi: hum bhi apne damad ko kissi ke samne jhugne nahi denge, Maaan

Dadi signals Maan to help Geet…

Maan lifts Geet and Geet finishes her job to perfection..

Maan didn’t look at Geet… so he continued to hold her…

Dadi: Maan bete, aap chahe toh apne biwi ko aaise hi andar lekhe jaa sakte hai

Everyone bursts out laughing…

Pari: Arvind ji, you should take care of Annie like this, that’s the message Maan is trying to convey you

Arvind looks at Maan and is a little shaky…

Geet understands his plight…

Geet: Arvind ji, you need not worry, Annie will take care of herself and also you

The bride and groom are on stage and ready for the ring ceremony…

Dadi has given the rings to Geet and Maan…

Maan gives the ring to Arvind and Geet to Annie ..

The couple exchange rings…

Maan wishes them and tries to get off the stage…

Dadi stops Màan…

Dadi: ek minute Maan…

Maan stops and turns back…

Dadi: Geet bete, app bhi yahan aayiye

Geet comes closer ..

Dadi has got another special ring in her hands…

Dadi gives the ring to Maan…

Dadi: ye hummare khandhani ankhooti hai, humme toh isko apne bahu ko dene ka moka hi nahi milla, issiliye iss subh afsar par hum issko apne Geet bahu ko dena chahte hai

Dadi asks Maan to go ahead…

Maan puts the ring on Geet’s finger…

This feels like their own Sagayi…

Geet is feeling bad that this ring doesn’t belong to her actually…

Geet keeps staring at the ring itself in confusion…

Should she keep it or not?

The mangalsutra belongs to her mother, so, that’s fine…

But this ring, this is something very special, Dadi had not even given it to her bahus for there are two of them, if she gave it to one of them, the other will be upset…

So, Dadi cleverly kept it safe with herself all these years to pass it to the rightful owner…

Geet is feeling guilty wearing that… she may be angry with Maan, but she respects Dadi and the others a lot…

They have been her strength and support after her parents… they have never differentiated between Geet and Annie, Geet is always considered a part of this family, even before she got into this so called relationship with Maan…

The ring feels like a thorn on her hand…

Annie: wow, Geet, this looks nice on you, and it fits you perfectly as if it’s made for you

Annie takes a look, even she is seeing that for the first time..

Dadi had shown it to her bahus only once….

Sheetal is happy that the family fortune is with Maan’s wife, Kiran is happy that it’s with her niece… so everyone except Maneet are happy…

Pinky: Geet, you are so lucky, this is so beautiful

Geet: chup kar Pinky

Pinky: don’t you like it?

Geet doesn’t know what to say….

Pari: Geeeeet, this is awesome, you take the ring, and I will take it’s owner

Geet: what?

Pari’s eyes are set on her target, MSK…

Geet is ready to give the ring but not the owner???

Pari moves towards Maan..

Pari: Maaaan

Maan acts as if he is on another planet, not interested in anything that is happening…

Geet: Pari, Pariiii

Pari ignores Geet….

Pari: Maan, come let’s dance

Maan looks at her surprised…

Pari: you gave the ring to Geet, you didn’t think about Pari? It’s ok, you can dance with Pari and Pari will forgive you

Pari pulls Maan and pleads him to shake a leg with her…

Maan had to oblige for he is happy that he could escape from another embarrassment, that is, dancing with his name sake wife to please his family…

Geet keeps watching them silently…. She is relieved that she too escaped from a dance with Maan, or is she really happy to see Maan with some other girl?

Maybe it’s the effect of the Khurana family, she misses her family so badly that she tries to find one in this lovely family, she wants to own this family but not Maan?

Geet can’t stop looking at the ring… she is not happy wearing it, she feels as if she is wearing someone’s stolen ring….

Geet looks at Maan now and then, to see his reaction… but it’s hard to read his mind now, he has shut himself completely as he got hurt badly showing his emotions to Geet…

Annie’s college friends are here… some of them are Geet’s friends too…

She is not amused to see Maan dancing with someone else, she wants to get away from there…

Geet goes to meet Annie’s friends instead…

Maan has seen that and he immediately excuses himself and goes after Geet…

Maan doesn’t want her to get started with the past after meeting them…

Those were the friends who were a part of Geet’s eventful birthday party…

Geet tries not to think about the past, she just talks to them about the present…

But there is someone who is here to talk about the past only… Arjun…

Arjun, Annie’s childhood friend, who had a huge crush on Annie…

Geet runs into Arjun and is surprised to see him back…

Geet has not seen him since a long time…

Arjun was struggling with some mental health problems and he suddenly vanished one day…

They said that he had attempted suicide and has been sent to rehab…

Poor guy, couldn’t bear the loss of his bestie, Dev…

Seeing Arjun Geet can’t stop herself from thinking about the past…

Geet tries to avoid Arjun for she doesn’t want to remind the past for him too…

But Arjun has seen her…

Geet turns and looks at Arjun as if she had not noticed him…

Geet: Arjun? What a pleasant surprise? It’s good to see you back

Arjun: it’s great to see you actually, as soon as I got the call from Annie I was waiting to come here

Geet: I know, how would you miss Annie’s Sagayi?

Arjun: it’s not Annie whom I wanted to meet, it’s you Geet, I just wanted to see you once

Geet is shocked, does he know anything?

Geet: me? But why?

Maan just finds Geet with Arjun and he comes…

Maan: Geeet, Dadima is looking for you

Geet is surprised that Maan is talking to her, so Maan feels guilty seeing Dev’s friend?

Geet knows that Maan wouldn’t want her to talk to anyone related to Dev, his conscience is killing him?

Geet ignores Maan…

Geet: Arjun, why did you want to see me?

Maan: Geet, tumne suna nahi meine kya kaha?

Arjun: Maan Bhai, I’m so happy to see you

Maan: how are you? When did you come back?

Maan means the asylum… how insulting?

Geet: it’s none of your business, Arjun is our guest, you please excuse us

Geet takes Arjun to an empty room…

Maan tries to stop her, but she won’t listen…

Arjun: Geet, I thought you are happy with Maan bhai, what’s wrong?

Geet: nothing, it’s just the usual husband wife thing

Arjun: are you sure? I came here to see you two happy, that is my only solace after what I did

Geet: you are talking in riddles, I don’t understand, you have changed a lot, I’m happy that you are back

Arjun: the news of your wedding with Maan bhai helped me survive all the odds, else I would have been gone long back

Geet: I really don’t understand one word that you speak

Arjun breaks down and falls on her feet…

Geet is frightened…

Geet: what’s this? Arjun, are you alright? I know I shouldn’t have talked to you, I’m sorry for your loss, how I wish nothing happened that day
