PART 17

After a while they both decided that they better get to the studio, before people start calling Angad and ask him where he is. As they arrived, there was quite a bit of commotion in the halls. The two of them were a bit perplexed because they still had about 2 days before the first concert. As there were about to go the dance studio, Naina ran to them. She looked at Angad and said I need to talk to you immediately. So he left with is mom and Kripa went to the dance studio where she continued practicing.

Naina took Angad into her office where Damini, Mishty, Prithvi, and Karthik were waiting. They all greeted one another and finally Angad asked his mom, what is going on why is there so much commotion outside. She looked at him and with a smile said well, it seems like the international promoter, Mr. Nitin Ahuja would like to sponsor a world tour for you. It would be a 15 million dollar venture and you would be on tour for about a month. Angad is like wow mom that's awesome. Naina said it sure is. It will be a sensational tour, we just need him to agree and take care of all the formalities. And for that we have a dinner tonight with him and some of his colleagues at the house. Then Damini aunty goes on to say, after the show in a couple of days we will decide weather or not Kripa will be performing with you. Naina looks over at her and says, I would prefer it if Kripa doesn't perform with Angad.  Angad was just about to say something, when Prithvi chimes in with, aunty I think Kripa will surprise us all at the concert. I have been watching her rehearsals, she is quite good and I think the audience will like her. Naina with a smirk said, I guess we shall see. They have a bit of a discussion and then they all disperse. They all go about their daily routine.

Angad and Kripa are putting on the final touches for their performance and so is the rest of the crew. Naina and Karthik are working on all the back of house production. The Bose pariwar are making sure that the tickets and everything have been taken care of.

Its about 6 o'clock and the Khanna residence is a mad house. Everyone is running around trying to make sure that tonight is perfect. They don't want to give any reason to Mr. Ahuja to not sponsor the tour. Naina is yelling at Teddy and Dilip to get all the floral and food arrangements. Anita is trying to figure out what to wear and Karthik is taking care of some last minute details for the show. Angad finally arrives and changes for the dinner party. The Boses all arrive and are looking smashing. The dinner party begins…

Everyone arrives, Mr. Nitin Ahuja, his wife, Sonia, Son, Prem, and his 5-year-old son. Yes its RAHUL. We see a small family that is very close nit. They have no secrets among them and are very loved dovey. They respect one another and by each others side. Mr. Ahuja adores his son and would do the world for him. He is so in love with his wife and takes care of anything and everything she wants. Mrs. Ahuja couldn't be happier. Rahul is the apple of his parents eyes. (Nitin is played by Manas from Astitva, Sonia is played by Simran from Astitva, Prem is played by Ejaz Khan from Kkusum, and Rahul is played by the little boy from the movie Rahul.)

When Mr. Ahuja arrives he arrives like a complete businessman. He was very formal, so was his wife. They all greet and introduce one another. Slowly all the guests arrive at the house and everyone is gallantly chatting. Damini looks around and sees that everyone is having a really good time. She is quite content with the whole scene.

Then as Mr. Ahuja is discussing the tour plans with Naina, Dilip and Angad, he casually asks who the other lead will be. Naina is a bit tense and says, that they might not need another lead as Angad is what the fans want. Nitin agrees but says that he would still like a female lead singer to go with Angad. Then he asks what about the new girl that you guys are launching in the next tour. Is she around, I would love to meet her. Obviously, Naina was stunned and didn't want the two to meet. But before she could say anything, Angad said yes she is here let me find her for you. He walks away. Nitin was quite impressed with Angad and was happy too see such a dedicated and sincere hard worker.

Angad runs to the outhouse to look for Kripa. He runs into her room to find her sitting on her chair sleeping with the tv on. She was watching the song "aaya mausam dosti ka" from MAINE PYAAR KIYA. It was the cutest site, she had her head resting on her hand leaning against a pillow and in a deep sleep. Angad walked over to her and kneeled right next to her. He brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes, and whispered her name. Kripa slowly opened her eyes and looked at Angad for a moment. Then with a smile and innocent eyes, she said "good morning." Angad pulled back and was just mesmerized with her innocence. She stretched a little bit and grabbed the pillow and looked at Angad and said, what are you doing here. Everything okay! Angad said, yes of course everything is okay. We are having a little promotional party at the house and I wanted to invite you to it. She looked at him and said, is it okay if I don't come. I would rather watch Salman Paagi. He is soo hot. Angad looked at her and got a little naughty. He said, why don't put your Salman Paagi on pause and get you ready so you can mingle with some useless people. He held out his hand and Kripa got up saying, fine but after we mingle I wanna watch Saluji. Hai he is soo sweet. Angad says, quickly get ready and meet us in the house. Before Kripa could ask him what to wear, Angad had left.

Kripa scratched her head and rubbed her eyes. She went to go get ready.
