Chapter 38

As armaan come outside he finds riddhima already lying on her side of bed and he finds the line of pillows in between. He smiled seeing her lying uncomfortably as she puts all the pillows in between and seeing her he can easily know she can't sleep without pillow. With a smile on his face he picked one cushion from chair and then replaced it with one pillow and then he stands near riddhima, riddhima finds him standing near her looked at him with questions in her eyes. Before riddhima can say anything armaan speaks up

A:''uthiye riddhima.''

She was surprised with his words may be he is not at all comfortable sharing bed with her. But nevertheless she gets up and asked

R:''kya hua armaan?''

Armaan quietly placed pillow behind her back and then speaks up

A:'' kucch bhi nahin riddhima jab sona hain tou aaram se soyiye na, mujhe pata hain apko pillow ke bina sonein ki habit nahin hain.''

He said and riddhima is surprised hearing him how he know that

R:''umm hain lekin armaan apko kaise pata chala?''

She asked him and armaan after sitting to his side replied to her

A:''pata hain mujhe bas ap 2-2 pillow rakh kar soti hain dekha hain maine apko couch par bhi aise sote hue ghar par, jab aap mera intejar kar rahi hoti hain.''

He replied to her in simple manner and riddhima's heart fluttered, he noticed such small things in her routine.

R:''han vo main mujhe shuru se habit hain.''

A:''dikh raha hain mujhe par madam apko pata hain not a good habit this is. Is se cervical honein ke chances hain pata hain apko.''

Armaan said looking in her eyes as he sat comfortably on the bed and riddhima looked at her Dr. Armaan Mallik is back but she liked this his care for her.

R:''jaanti hun par kya karun aadat hai ki jaati nahin.''

A:''koshish kariye nahin tou meri is pyaari se dost ke shoulders jam ho jayenge fir yeh itna acha khana kaise banayegi.''

He said in sweet manner and riddhima looked straight in his eyes, green orbs drowned in the blue orbs. She just want to look in his eyes for forever. Armaan feels some kind of fixation in her eyes, he never wants to look away from her eyes. Their eye lock breaks with sound of armaan's phone and armaan looked away first while riddhima moved her gaze shyly. It was call from hospital and seeing armaan busy riddhima quickly mumbled a slow good night to him and laid in comforter not wanting to face his intense gaze anymore.

R:''goodnight armaan.''

Armaan nods to her and then involved in his call. After like 15-20 minutes when he gets free from his call, he finds riddhima snuggled in pillow and was sleeping. Seeing her sleeping so peacefully a smile crept on his lips and he keeps on staring at her with thoughts running in his mind

A:''kitni pyaari lag rahi hain yeh sote hue bhi bilkul ek pari ki tarah man kar raha hain bas ise dekhte rahun. Kitna ajeeb tha aaj ka din pehle bappa ke darbar mein sindoor vali baat, fir vo parvati temple mein riddhima ko mangalsutra milna fir riddhima ke sath lover point par jana sab kuch ajeeb tha par bahut hi khoobsurat tha bahut. Main is din ko kabhi nahin bhul paunga. It is one of my best day. Par maine riddhima ka humesha sath dene ka vada kyun kiya jabki main yeh janta hun yeh rishta sirff ek sal ab tou 8 months ka hi reh gaya hain pata nahin kyun mera dill uska sath nibhana chahta tha isliye mere muh se sirf han nikla. Par kyun? Tu bhi na armaan bahut sochta hain main uska ek dost ki tarah tou humesha sath de sakta hun na. Ab tou hum bahut ache dost hain aakhir tou bas fir. Ab mujhe bhi so jana chahiye nahin tou pata nahin kya soche jaunga baith kar.''

He said to himself and then giving a last glance to riddhima, he drifted to sleep.

Next Morning

As the sun rays peeped for a beautiful morning, riddhima's eyes first opened for the beautiful morning. As first her vision is blurry due to sleep but as it cleared she saw armaan's face right near her right cheek. She was shocked to see him that close to herself, as she saw they were in total different position from the night. All the pillows were here and there and are on floor which she puts in between them. Armaan's one hand is wrapped around her waist and he was lying on his stomach with his fcae touching riddhima's face. As riddhima composed herself seeing their position a smile come on her lips how she wants to be wake up like this every morning in his arms only.

R(in her heart):" kash aisa ho pata ki meri har subh aise hi armaan ka hansta hua chehra dekh kar ho aur main unki bahon mein lipti hui.''

Her chain of thoughts breaks with movement in armaan's body, she quickly close her eyes feeling that. As she does not want him to be in awekard position. As armaan open his eyes he was shocked to see riddhima so close to himself and he immediately moved away from her thinking what she will be think of him if she will finds them in this position

A(in his mind):''armaan yeh kya hai dude riddhima ne tujh par itna vishwas kiya aur vo kya sochegi tum donow ko aise dekh kar. Shit man i have gone nuts.''

He was disappointed with himself so he immediately moved away from her and moved to washroom. As riddhima opened her eyes hearing the washroom door closed her heart feels bad as she can sense armaan's disapointment

R:''armaan ko acha nahin laga hain aur shayad mera armaan ke sath ka sapna humesha sapna hi rahega. Par yeh bhi utna hi sach rahega ki main armaan se hi pyaar karti hun aur humesha karungi.''

She spoke to herself and then she too moved away from bed tying her hair in the bun. Knowing armaan must need his coffee after coming out from washroom she orders coffee for him and tea for herself. After few minutes as armaan come out from washroom he finds her standing near the window opening the curtains seeing her he feels guilty but then only he heard riddhima

R:''good morning armaan.''

She wished him with a beautiful smile on her lips seeing her smile armaan forgot all the guilty for a moment and wished her back.

A:''good morning riddhima.''

R:''armaan maine apki coffee order kar di hain abhi aati hogi tab tak main fresh hokar aati hun.''

She said and taking her clothes in her hands she moved to washroom. After half an hour riddhima come out from washroom wearing that sauce vala red color suit which he asked her to take with her indirectly. And she indeed was looking so pretty in that suit. Red colour always looks so beautiful on her. Seeing her in his favorite color he keeps on staring at her, feeling his intense gaze upon herself riddhima feels nervous, she is not habitat with that intense gaze of his. So she speaks up

R:''armaan apki cofee bana dun?''

Her voive brings him back to reality breaking his gaze and he moved away his gaze while answering her

A:'' umm han riddhima.''

Riddhima smiles and come towards him and start making his coffee.

Riddhima feels like she is sorted as she finally discovered well to be honest finally accepted to herself about her feelings that she has for armaan. She does not know about the future of her relation with armaan but she definitely knows that she is going to love him for forever, he will be her first and last love. She was in her thoughts only when she heard the click sound and saw armaan coming outside from rest room, as his eyes ,met with riddhima they both passed smile to each other, armaan joined her for coffee. As riddhima forwarded him his coffee

A:’’vaise aaj main apko chai na pene ki salah dunga fir se na vomiting ho jaye khali pet.’’

He said to her as he was still worries for her moreover as they were returning today she might feel nauseatic again.

R:’’mujhe pata hain ap mere liye keh rahe ho armaan par main agar chai nahin peyungi tou?’’

She was cut in between as armaan speak for her

A:’’sar mein dard hoga janta hun, aadat hain tumhe.’’

Riddhima looked at him astonished does he know about her this little habit as she does not speak anything

A:’’aise mat dekho riddhima doctor hun main ek aur hum itni der se saath mein hain itna tou main apni dost ko janta hi hoyunga na.’’

He said and riddhima looked at him while nodding her head but today the word friend hits her hard today, he still thinks her as a friend and what she is expecting, seeing her quieted

A:’’ok riddhima please pareshan mat ho tum aise karo chai pi lo main tumhe doxinate de dunga ek breakfast ke bad jis se tumhe nausea nahin hoga raste mein.’’

Armaan said and riddhima nods her head without saying anything,

A:’’ab tou main maan gaya hun ab tou ek smile banti hain na yar.’’

Armaan said cutely which brings smile on riddhima’s face finally. Finishing their morning teas and coffees armaan leave the room as riddhima told him she will joing them after packing their luggage

R:’’main bhi kyun bura man rahi thi is baat ka janti tou hun ache se ki armaan mujhe apna dost mante hain, mujhe unse pyaar hua hain unhein nahin. Apne feelings mein main unse tou yeh expect nahin nahin kar sakti na ki vo yeh shadi nibhaye aur mujhse pyar kare, kyun soch rahi hu itna, vo mujhe dost mante hain jitna bhi time hain mere pas unke sath main use khul kar jeeyungi achi yadein banaungi apni puri zindagi ke liye chahe dost ke taur par hi sahi.’’

With this riddhima smiled fully and packing their bags she moved outside to join everyone for breakfast. As she moved to breakfast area everybody was settled there for breakfast, seeing riddhima aarav ran to her, smilingly riddhima picked him up in her arms

Aa:’’ridhima chachi aarav apko kabse find kar rha tha.’’

R:’’good morning aarav baby aarav chachi ko kyun find kar raha tha.’’

Aa:’’kyunki mumma aarav ko choco milk nahin de rahi chachi boliye na mumma ko.’’

But before riddhima can say anything atul butted in

At:’’riddhima aaj tum iska sath mat dena bhai sahib subh se 2 chocolates kha chuke hain.’’

Hearing atul riddhima knows if atul is saying no that means aarav must have too much of chocolates.

Ri:’’aarav baby hum na ek deal karte hain main na aarav ko sham ko ghar jakar aarav ki favorite pie bna kar dungi abhi ke liye aarav please apna normal mil peyega.’’

Aarav thinks a bit but in front of his pie he leaves the choco milk.

Aa:’’ok chachi mumma aarav milk.’’

And he jumped from her arms ran to Anjali and start having milk while armaan ruffled his hairs. As riddhima settled beside them

An:’’riddhima magician ho tum vaise is tantrum king ko kitni jaldi mna leti ho tum.’’

At:’’yup I agreed vaise na anjie humare vapis jane se pehle tum riddhima se yeh pie bnana zarur sikh lena.’’

An: ’certainly atul.’’

Everyone smiled and start having their breakfast in jovial manner when suddenly riddhima’s eyes fell on muskaan’s forhead she has tilk on her forhead

R:’’are muskaan apke mathe par tilak laga hain ap kahin gaye the kya?’’

M:’’oh han riddhima subh hum sab na subh upar parvati temple gaye the.’’

A:’’hain kal tou bda keh rahi thi main abhi last week hokar gayi hun aur aaj subh jab hi ayi.’’

Armaan asked as he clearly remembered how everyone ditched them yesterday and today everyone goes without asking them.

M:’’han tou hero kal sachi himmat nahin thi aaj subh hum sab ready ho gaye jaldi tou ho aye. Tumhe isliye nahin pucha kal bhi riddhima bahut tired thi.’’

A:’’han vaise thek hi kiya tumne mujhe lagta hain agar tum kehte bhi main shayad hi aa pata subh bahut der tak soya main.’’

Ra:’’bas dekha na jo hota ache ke liye hota. Acha armaan breakfast karke niklte hain pahunchte hue sham ho jayegi.’’

At:’’han armaan Rahul sahi keh raha hain fir humein parso delhi bhi tou jana hain.’’

A:’’oh han bhai main tou bilkul bhul hi gya tha.’’

Only then armaan remembered atul and his family come to him just for four days. With that little chit chat all of them finished their breakfast and after checking out they proceed back to home. Again riddhima was sitting with armaan in his car; off course like yesterday gang did that deliberately. As when armaan was clearing the bill Anjali asked everyone to follow yesterday’s routine for sitting in the cars.

An:’’mujhe lagta hain humara plan kuch kam kar raha hain maine riddhima mein kuch change dekha hain.’’

Mu:’’han bhabhi maine bhi ap sahi thi in donow ko sath time ki zarurat hain.’’

An:’’isliye aaj bhi hum ikathe jayenge in donow ke sath nahin.

Everyone agreed with her and here they are armaan riddhima alone, but as today before moving armaan gave her pill so that she will be fine in travelling, riddhima fell asleep after like half an hour. Armaan then realized she might be like those people who slept after taking even small doze of medicine. Armaan smiled seeing her sleeping like a kid, she was looking so adorable, and he feels like pulling her cheeks. Then he feels her head come over his shoulder as she was uncomfortable in that position, armaan sighed and then het let her head rested on his shoulder. He doesn’t know why but he feels immense peace feeling her so close to his heart. Her breaths are touching his face, her lavender smell that always makes him crazy. God knows how he drives the car with her so close to him. He always lost control over himself whenever she is close to him. He never knew why his body his heart gave that reaction with her close to him. Pushing his thoughts he does loved the fact that she is close to him. And he did complete this full journey like this only.

After like 4 hours when he entered the car in porch of his house, he was thankful that rahul’s car still not reached. Otherwise he surely going to get embarrass in front of them with riddhima resting her head on his shoulder. He keeps on looking at her after stopping the car, finally after good 15 minutes riddhima’s sleep breaks as she opens her eyes she feel something so soft under her head as she looks properly she finds herself so close to him. As blue eyes lay over her green orbs met with them shaking her world. She gets lost in his deep blue oceanic eyes. Armaan too feel hot around his ears as when riddhima wake up she moves and her breaths are dangerously near his ears. He was losing control all over again. He himself does not know when he rubbed his cheek with her right cheek sending shiver in her spine, in result she clutched his shirt in her hands making her get even so close to him. Lost in her smell in her eyes armaan actually does not know when makes her free from her seat belt, making riddhima almost in his lap. They were so close to each other that armaan can hear her frantic heart beats. Within no second’s armaan’s hand start tracing her facial features her eyes her nose her cheeks and he moved closer to her face plating a kiss on her nose tip while rubbing his nose with hers. Riddhima’s body is shivering completely after admitting her love for him to herself this is first time they were so close and it makes her feel so weak on her knees, she knows if she is not sitting she will definitely going to fall. As armaan’s hot breaths kissed her lips she looked deep in his eyes, saying her unsaid feelings, armaan just brushed his lips with hers, and honk honk that brings them to reality. They pull apart from each other immediately. Riddhima frantically moved outside the car as she saw rahul’s car entering inside. Without waiting for anyone she opened the door and rushed inside. Armaan also come back to world as he saw her entering in the house and he punched the steering wheel hardly

A:’’pagal ho jata hun main uske samne, karta kya rehta hun main yeh. Vo pas ayi ki ho gaya mera apni body se control khatam ho kya gaya hain mujhe. Riddhima ki smell mere liye addiction ban rahi hain. Kabhi bhi nahin hua yeh mere sath kisi ke sath maine aise control nahin lose kiya. Main aise riddhima ko hurt kar dunga par aaj mujhe riddhima ki ankhein kuch alag lagi jaise aaj unmein koi confusion na ho. Main pta nahin kya soch raha hun kaise samna karunga main ab riddhima ka. Kyun nahin dur reh pata main us se. Armaan tu pagal ho gya hain sambhal khud ko.’’

He pulled his hair in frustration then he moved out as he finds everyone get out from rahul’s car. Seeing him

At:’’are armaan tum log kab pahunche?’’

A:’’bas apke aage aage bhai.’’

He replied shortly, everyone entered in the house. As they settled in the living area, riddhima comes with the tray of water for them. She served everyone while serving armaan she does not meet armaan’s gaze while armaan do notice this. When she served Anjali

An:’’riddhima acha suno raste mein na mujhe mom (their mother in law) ka phone aya tha ki main aur atul delhi ate hue tumhe bhi sath le aayen. Tou tum bhi apne bags pack kar lena. Armaan uski tickets bhi kra dena.’’

Anjali’s words makes riddhima and armaan shocked and they both looked at each other in total disbelief. Armaan never thought about this, riddhima never wants this that she has to go.

Ri:''sab kuch kar tou lungi par kya armaan ayenge?''
