Chapter 13

Reeva was so busy in looking at Nishant that she didn't realize when her saree caught fire by a cracker.
Nishant watches the scene and he ran towards Reeva leaving Kanan screaming Reeva and extinguished the fire by his hands and in such a try his both hands were burnt.
Reeva cames back into senses when Nishant asks him.
Nishant(in a worried tone): Reeva are u ok?
Reeva (looking at him):I am ok Nishant.(Then taking his hands into her hands)Tumhare haath to buri tarah jal gayen hain.
At the same time Kanan also reaches there with Buaji adn Tanu.
Buaji: Kya hua beta. Sab theek to hai.
Kanan: Reeva are u ok?
Nishant suddenly felt that his hands are still in Reeva's hand. He takes his hands out of Reeva's hands.He was feeling a little bit strange.
Reeva: I am ok Kanan. Par Nishant ke haath jal gaye hain.
Kanan looked at Nishant's hands and takes them in her hand.
Kanan: Oh god Nishant. Chaliye upar main in par ointment laga deti hoon.
Reeva was a little bit jealous finding Kanan and Nishant too close.
Kanan and Nishant goes upstairs whereas Reeva kepton looking at them.
Tanu:Reeva. Tum theek to ho na.
Reeva: Ya i am fine.
Tanu: Good, to chalo phatake chalate hain.
Saying this, she takes Reeva with her.

In the room, Kanan has washed Nishant's hands and was about to apply ointment on it.
Kanan: Jyada dard ho raha hai.
Nishant: Bilkul nahi. Mera dard to aapke haath lagate hi chala gaya.
Kanan looks at him and starts smiling.
She applies ointment and Nishant feels some pain.
Nishant: Ouch.
Kanan: Kya hua jala kya.
Nishant: Thoda sa.
Kanan(smiling): Bas ho gaya.
Saying this, she applies ointment and then was finished with the dressing.
After sometime they came downstairs . The clock was showing 12 Am in the morning.
Reeva: Thanks Nishant . Tumne mujhe bachaya.
Nishant: It's ok Reeva. Thanks kehne ki koi jaroora nahi hai. Agar aapki jagah koi aur bhi hota to main yahi karta.
Reeva(To Buaji)Accha buaji ab mujhe chalna chahiye.
Buaji: Arre beta itni raat ko tumhe akele nahi jaana chahiye.
Reeva: it's ok Buaji. Main chali jaoongi.
Kanan: Nahi Reeva. Buaji bilkul theek keh rahin hain. Nishant tumhe chhod aayenge.
Nishant was a little bit surprised.
Reeva: Really iski koi jaroorat nahi.
Nishant: It's ok Reeva. Main tumhe chhod aata hoon. Chalo.
saying this, they both leaves from there.
In the whole way, Reeva kept on looking at Nishant and remembering their old times when they used to go on long drives in college, whereas Nishant kpt on driving without looking at her.
Nishant: Ab kahan?
Reeva: Jee.
Nishant: Yahan se left ya right.
Reeva: Left.
Nishant takes a left and soon they reached at Reeva's house.
Reeva: Thanks Nishant.
Nishant: It's ok Reeva. No need to say thanks.
Reeva: Andar nahi aaoge.
Nishant: Actually no. Bahut der ho gayi hai. Buaji aur Kanan wait kar rahe honge.
Reeva: Nishant. Jo kuch bhi hamae beech...
Nishant: Jo kuch bhi hamare beech tha Reeva woh ab khatam ho chuka hai aur main sab kuch bhool chuka hoon. Jo kuch bhi hua woh hum dono ka personal decision tha aur use lene mein na tum galat thi na main. Tum apne career ke liye jyada chintit thi aur amin tumhe galat nahi kahoonga. Mujhe lagta hai ki jo kuch bhi hua use bhoolkar humein ek nayi shuruat karni chahiye. Aaj meri zindagi mein Kanan hain aur main unse bahut pyaar karta hoon aur mujh poora vishwaas hai ki tumhe bhi apni zindagi mein koi na koi jaroor milega jo tumse pyaar karega.Tum Kanan ki sabse acchi dost ho aur agar tum chahtiho hum log acche dost ban kar reh sakte hain.

Reeva happily accepts his hand.
Reeva: Goodnight Nishant.
Nishant: Goodnight Reeva.
Saying this, Nishant leaves from there whereas Reeva kept on standing there for sometime and then goes inside.
On hisway, Nishant was thinking what he said to Reeva and thought was he serious when he said all that. Kya reeva a uske liye ek dpst se badhkar kuch nahi hai. Agar aisa hai to Kyun use ajeeb lag raha hai. At the end he shruuged off all teh thoughts thinking that may be Reeva was his first serious affair, that's why he is thinking too muchabiout her but now Kanan is in his life and he loves her from the depth of his heart.
