She runs to the hotel like a excited girl with new feelings, her stomach had butterflies for something that she did not know. She was feeling all jumpy, excited and happy that she never felt before. 'What is happening to me' she thought. As she reached the reception she found Angad and the receptionist arguing over something. She went over him and asked curiously, 'what happened?

 

'She won't let us book two rooms as it needs to be booked a day before or so which means we have one room left.

 

'So?' she asked confused. Angad was startled by her question but then realize she might be used to it or she is happy with it. Kripa on the other hand does not see these issues, as her life she has not been taught about what to do or not. She is not familiar about, she is more of tomboy in her heart and girlish as well.

 

'You don't mind' he asked surprised 'If we share a room'

 

'No' she replied happily. She wondered what he is on about and at the same time she is nervous, may be he was going on about something she did not know. It's not her fault as she was brought up alone but the maid who raised kripa has died.

 

'o.k.' he replied

 

 

 

 

The receptionist handed him the keys so they both went up to the door. As Angad unlocked the door and opened they both were taken away. The room was modern and designed especially for the Honey Moon couple. The theme of the room was a mixture of red rose and white colours. In the middle of the room lay a huge heart shaped bed covered with Red duvet and on top it there were rose on it.

 

Moving away there was a sofa bed and two sofas surrounded by the heart shaped glass coffee table.

 

As they were about to enter the room, we hear Angad stomach grumbling, kripa tried not to laugh so she put her hand on her mouth so that Angad can't see her. Angad was as red as tomato filled with embarrassment! Unable to control her self, she laughed loudly that she went and sat on the bed and laughed non stopped. Angad stood mid way on the door was taken back by it and smiled to himself and went and sat beside kripa.

 

A: Kripa

 

K: yeah… still trying not to laugh.

 

A: I am hungry

 

As he said it kripa started laughing again, she looked at him who looked back with puppy face to show that he is hungry, and she started laughing again by his cute kiddish behaviour.

 

'Stupid I can see that you are hungry' she teased.

 

Angad again was embarrassed. Kripa could see it and decides to leave the poor boy alone.

 

'Let's go' she said, getting up.

 

'Where?' he asked confused

 

'I thought you were hungry' she teased

 

'oh yeah'

 

'It's O.k, if you don't want to go' she said again in teasing mood

 

'What'

 

'Yes and I don't mind really'

 

'O.K' he said defeated

 

Kripa can see Angad wanted to go badly but she felt sorry for him as well. With out saying anything, she grabs Angad by the hand takes him down.

 

'Where are we going?'

 

'Actually I am hungry, she replied, so why don't we go down'

 

'Good' he said in relief.

 

 

 

They both went down and entered the restaurant that is owned by the hotel and sat together in the middle. Even thought its late midnight, the room was filled with couple. At the centre there was dance floor where few couple were dancing slowly with the romantic song that played slowly in the back ground.  At one corner there is small bar area with stools round it.

 

'kripa'

 

'yeah'

 

'We are friends after all, you did not tell me about yourself'

 

She was quiet; she did not know where to start, as she was thinking what will happen if she told him everything, he will leave her alone like everyone. She never came to know why everyone hates her.

 

'What do you want to know' she replied after couple of seconds

 

'Anything, about your family'

 

'My Family' she mumbled, tears were beginning to form in her eyes, she looked down. Angad saw that she was quite was getting worried and impatient.

 

'I don't have any family' she said

 

Angad felt sorry for her, then again he wanted to be with her, protect her. He was then angry why did they leave her? A mixture of emotions runs through him.

 

'I am sorry'

 

'it's O.K'

 

'what happened to your family, I mean what about your cousins'

 

'My mom and dad died, I had maid who raised me up, she was like a mother to me but she died. About my cousins I don't care damn about them'

 

Angad was taken back by her rudeness.

 

'I am sorry'

 

'No… What did I tell you?'

 

'Oh'

 

'O.k, lets leave everything. Do you have a boyfriend' He asked curiously.

 

'Yes' she lied

 

'Girl friend?'

 

'Yes' he lied

 

They both were feeling down, but was happy that they lied so they won't have to feel bad in front of each other.

 

'Angad, So erm, she hesitated a bit then continued, 'is she your dream girl'

 

'You mean, am I going to marry her?  He asked

 

'Yes'

 

'No' he replied quickly. He replied quickly as he did not want to lie anymore and no more trouble.

 

'pheww' she muttered under her breath, relieved

 

'What'

 

'No, I mean I said O.K' she replied quickly.

 

He was not sure that she said O.K as it did not sound like that.

 

'What about you' he asked out of curiosity

 

Kripa was bored but she wanted fun and enjoy herself as much as she ca while she was with Angad

 

'why'

 

'Just asking'

 

'O.K'

 

'So'

 

'So?'

 

'Do you want to marry your boyfriend' he asked

 

'Why' she asked again in teasing tone.

 

'What do you mean, why, you asked me so I asked you'

 

'You answered but I did not want to answer you'

 

'Please'

 

'Does it matter?'

 

 

'yes'

 

'what?'

 

'I mean… we are friends so we should know everything about each other'

 

'O.K'

 

'So'

 

'I won' tell you anything'

 

Kripa was enjoying this, as she clearly can see how Angad is trying to get the answer out from her mouth. He on the other hand is growing impatient.

 

'Why?'

 

'Angad… why do you want to know, it won't prove anything, you know'

 

'But still'

 

'o.k'

 

'Come on, tell me'

 

'May be'

 

His senses grew alert, No one can take her away from him. He wanted to know right answer

 

'What do you mean maybe?'

 

'I don't know'

 

'Do you want to marry him'

 

'I do' she said looking straight at him and smiling.

 

'What' he asked angry?

 

'Anything wrong' she asked innocently

 

'No' he covered it quickly

 

 

 

 

The food arrived at the table. They both dug in the food and enjoyed it. Kripa saw how Angad was eating it as he was hungry. She smiled. As they finished eating the food, someone came up to their table.

 

Kripa looked up and was surprised to see Prithiv, 'Prithiv' she exclaimed

 

P: Hi Kripa and Angad'

 

'Why does he have to be here now' he thought angrily. He plastered a smile on his face.

 

'What are you doing here' he asked

 

'Can't he see, we are having food' he thought angrily

 

'We were stuck in the rain and my car wasn't working so'

 

'oh'

 

'How are you here' she asked

 

'Same... My car'

 

The announcer announced about the dance, they were both thinking in their mind to ask Kripa about the dance.

 

Prithiv then asked before Angad could reply, 'Kripa May I have a dance with you'

 

Kripa did not know what to say, moreover she felt more comfortable with Angad then Prithiv even though they were friends but Kripa mostly hangs around with Harshini so Prithiv is also Harshini's friend.

 

'Prithiv… I am not feeling well' she lied

 

'O.K…'

 

'I am sorry, why don't you join us'

 

Angad starred at her as if have you lost your mind

 

'No.. I have to go and I am feeling tired' he waved at them and left.

 

Angad felt relieved and then asked, 'Kripa all you alright?'

 

'yes, I was lying!'

 

'what' he cried happily 'why'

 

'Promise you won't laugh'

 

'promise'

 

'Actually I don't know how to do couple dancing'

 

'you don't, then I can teach you'

 

'really you can'

 

'yep, after all what are friends are for'

 

She was about to say something, 'No thank you' he said quickly.

 

She smiled nodding and he did that back.
