Aaliya did not know what to say. Maybe Aamir understood that

and he continued.

 

" I left as soon as I could. I've been running for about 3 months now.

I could do nothing. I was completely helpless. If I wanted to stay alive

I had to move on, and I had to talk to my parents, they are my only hope.

I am sure that once I talk to them everything will be fine."

 

"Aamir is this the reason why you came back here in a bad

condition the other day?"

 

" Yes. I was just coming back from exploring the place around, when

some people from my institute saw me. I had to run; they were faster

than I was. Since it was night I hid behind a few bushes and once the road

was clear I came back here. Getting away from them, it was that process,"

he said smiling, " is what gave me all the marks I have."

 

" They don't know that I am here Aaliya, and I don't want

them finding out. I will be leaving…"

 

Aamir had to leave his sentence incomplete as he heard a window

 glass shatter and fall.

 

Aaliya was petrified. She had no idea what was going on.

 

Aamir went towards the glass a few minutes later, and came back to

tell Aaliya,

 

" The might know I am here."
