" What's wrong? Why are you sitting like this? What's running

 on your mind?" Aaliya asked, as she entered.

 

" Oh nothing." He said as he quickly wiped away his tears. " I was

just thinking about packing up. I can't stay here for long, I'll have

 to move on."

 

" I have no idea what you are talking about. And why can't you stay

here for long?"

 

" It's a long story Aaliya."

 

" Ok, you can narrate your story to me after dinner, now the foods

getting cold, come down quick."

 

" I never told you that I'd be telling you anything."

 

" Oh yes you will. Now come down quick."

 

Aaliya and Aamir had their dinner together. Aaliya was her normal self,

but Aamir wasn't.

 

After dinner:

 

" Now that we have our stomach full, I think you can tell me the story."

 

"Aaliya but I …"

 

" No Aamir, if you are thinking about packing up, then I think I deserve

 to know why you are leaving."

 

Aaliya could see that Aamir was a little hesitant.

 

 "Oh, and before you start, let me tell you, whatever might it be

that you are going to tell me, the trust you asked about once,

will never break."

 

" Thanks Aaliya."

 

Aaliya just smiled.

 

"If you must know, do you remember asking me what I was doing here?"

 

" Yes I do."

 

" I had come here, not knowing that you stay here, but your

house came in the path I had to cross."

 

Aamir stopped, seeing Aaliya with full attention he continued.

 

" I am here, not by my own will, but because of the

fact that I am running away."
