Days rolled by, Aaliya did not see Aamir from the day he shifted into his room.

 

She thought that they'll meet during meals but she was wrong, she like usual, took her meals isolated.

 

The next day was Xmas, though neither Aaliya's nor Aamir's family celebrates it, this year they decided to give the children presents.

 

During the past few days her heart frequently prayed that somehow she could meet Aamir.

 

Aaliya woke up in the morning, got dressed and went down to breakfast.

 

When she had her meal and turned to return back to her room, she saw Aamir walking towards her.

 

She wanted to meet him, her heart wanted to but now it felt really very odd with "namorado" between them.

 

" These are for you," he said handing over some gift wrapped items, " Your parents told me to give them to you."

 

" Thanks Aamir".

 

Aaliya wanted to say something to bring back the ' friendship' between them, but she had no idea what to say or what to do.

 

Aamir did not move a muscle and thus Aaliya turned away and walked away from Aamir towards her room.
