Part 16- Another name for Winter Formal is…DRAMA

     It was about two days before Winter formal. Everyone was so excited. Kripa was scared that Raj wouldn't be able to make it for the dance. But he did, he came home ;est night. Today Kripa and Raj were going to go shopping for their clothese. All the couples had to be color coordinated. Kripa and Raj were doing black and silver.
Anagd and Vedika already picked out there clothes so did Shazad and Meem.
Winter Formal Night.
   In school
D- Good Afternoon Ms. Nisa
N- Hello Das.
D- So anything new in life
N- No, even if there was, I wouldn't be telling you.
D- Really?
N- Yes really. So who's your fiance doing?
D- Fine. Were doing just fine
N- That's dandy.
D- You know what Nisa
N- I know a lot of things Das, if only your fiance knew them.
D- Nisa your just
N- Im just what
    Nisa got a paper cut right then.
N- Ouch!
D- What happened
N- Nothing
D- Let me see!
   Das took out the first aid kit and was putting a bandage on Nisa.
D- Your so…
N- Sorry
D- Chup!
   Nisa and Das were staring at each other, Das was still holding Nisa's hands.
Angad was looking for Mr. Das to ask him about this report Anagd got a B on. Angad thought he should have gotten an A. He opened the door to the faculty room and saw Mr. Das and Ms. Nisa. He was shock. Then he slowly just closed the door.
     The next day Anagd the Urvashi were sitting on the couch watching Tv when Angad suddenly asked
A- Hey Bua, do you really love Das?
U- Huh?
A- I mean, do you really, love him? A LOT?
U- Yes I do
A- How do you know that
U- Angad, im happy when Im with him, I feel different. I've never felt like that about anyone ever since Abhi died.
A- What if you guys don't…
U- Angad, I trust that we will get married and live a great life. I trust him
A-….What…what if he breaks your trust.
U- I trust that he wont…that's what trust is all about Angad
A- Ok…
It was Prom Night. The girls were all at Vedika's house getting ready
K- I hate my hair
V- You have great Hair Krips.
K- But I still hate it.
M- What shoes should I wear?
V- You want my bronze shoes, they'' go great with your alfet
M- Thanks,
K- Vedika I love what your wearing
V- Thanks. I just hope I can handle it.
K- Imagine when your dancing it
V- SHUT UP!
They all got ready. The limo came to pick them up. The three girls went down to the limo. Vedika was wearing a black sari and white dots all over it. The ancal went around her neck. Her blouse was a halter white blouse. Her hair was curled and was pulled up into a bun with two bangs coming down.
Kripa was wearing a black sari langa. The skirt was very tights and stuck to her hips, with and the blose was a beautiful sliver color one. She wore a silver belt with it. The black until it reached her shoulder, where it was cut, and then became silver. Her hair was dead straight and looked very elegent.
Meem was wearing a very pretty white gipsy skirt. And white halter top, with a bronxe blouse over it, that came up to her ribs. She wore a borze big belt, bronze shoes, and a broze belt with it. Her haior was straight on the top and curled on the bottom.
     The guys were all getting ready at Angad's house too.
A- I hate dances
R- yeah, seriously. And in our school, Winter Formal has always been another name for DRAMA.
S- Yeah, its funny. Every dance. You go in with one person and end up coming out with someone else.
Angad alfet was amazing, he wore a white suit with black think strips. With a black shirt that had white strips. And white pants. He had a classy white old fashioned hat and a white cane.
     Raj was wearing a black shirt with silver strips. And black jeans. He looked very stylish.
           Shzad was wearing a white blazer with the brownish colored shirt. With white pants, and brown sun glasses.
   They all meant in the limo that picked up the girls then the guys. The reached the Venue. It was held in the Bontancial Garden. It's a beautiful place. (I know cuz I went there yesterday with my friends).
     Everyone was having so much fun, dancing. Shzad eft the dance florr afte a while to go DJ. Tats another thing about Shazad, he's a great DJ. So, they were all dancing when Raj saw the police coming in the door.
R- Kripa
K- Yeah
R- I have to go
K- What? Where?
R- Come out with me
K- but
R- Just come.
   Raj and Kripa ran out. Still in the dance floor was Meem and Shazad. Shazad was kissing Meem a lot, and after a while Meem started feeling very uncomfortable.
M- Shazad, let go of me
    Shazad wouldn't listen, he kept kissing her and holding her. He went down to her neck
M- Shazad!
S- JEEZ!! What the hell is your problem!
M- Im leaving
S- Fine go, I had enough of your fricking…just go
   Meem left. Anagd and Vedika were maybe the only ones having a great time. Vedika loved being with Angad. Everything felt so right when she was with him. Everything felt…good.
Raj and Kripa went outside. They drove to the park. There was a shack there. With a very nice balcony type thing. Kripa and Raj were sitting there
R- Kripa I have to go
K- Where?
R- To Virginia, I have this person who lives there. He's an uncle.
K- And…
R- Kripa, If I stay here, my dad and that lady. I cant handle all that.
K- ut you have to leave!
R- Kripa, I don't want to live here anymore, ok if I don't need my dad's permission, I don't yours either.
K-…..Fine but I cant be waiting for you again.
R- I know Kripa.I cant expect you to wait for me this time.
K- So you think we should
R- We should just end this here
K- Ok…then,
R- We're still be friends.
K- Yeah…
The dance was over. Vedika and Angad were walking throught the gardens holdong hands.
V- Angad
A- Yeah
V- I love you
Angad let go the Vedika, and his smile turned into a frown.
A- Your joking right?
V- (in a shaky voice) Wait
A- Vedika I….
V- You don't love me do you?
A-…..Vedka were in high school. Im a kid
V- And you don't love me
A- This isn't One Tree Hill! Stop with the drama! Were kids, we have fuin, we don't fall in love!
V- You cant control love
A- Whatever….okay. I don't want to talk about this anymore.
V- Bye Angad
A- Vedika don't…
     Vedika left. Shazad found Meem, sitting in some other part of the garden.
S- Meem Im sorry
M- Shazad just go
S- Meem, Im really sorry
M- Bye Shazad
S- You cant do that!
M_ what?
S- You cant just say bye like that
M- Don't tell me what I can and cant do.
S-………
M- BYE
   Meem left and Shazad just sat there. Looking down.
It was raining. Kripa and Raj were sitting down on the balcony. Shazad came and sat with them. So did Vedika a while later. Meem came a while later and sat down on a chair with them. Later Angad did too. None of them said anything, they didn't look at anyone either. They just looked at the storm.
