Chapter 14

Part 14- To complicated

     Exam week had started. Nothing much happened that week. It was all studying, tests, and sleeping. All the houses were quiet. Expect for of course…Raj's house. Mr. Verm was going to get re-married. Raj couldn't take it.
R-You kill my mother and then you have the nerves to get married again!
V- Raj, there are things you don't understand yet, but you will
R- Shut up!
V- Raj
R-Lets just get one thing straight, you bring that lady in this house, and Im out.
V- But…
R- Bye
   Raj went to his room and studied. Well he couldn't really, he kept thinking about his dad. Somewhere inside Raj new that his dad wouldn't mary that lady, not at the cost of losing him.
     The exams the finished. Everyone was relieved.
S- Finally…if I studied a little more I'd becom Albert
K- Albert?
S- Yeah, that smart dude
K- (laughing) Hey you know Raj had a picture of Einstein in the room
S- Are you serious?
K- Yeah, his dad got it for him, and every morning he waked up and shows it the finger
S- That's more like Raju
K- Raju? Ew please, don't ever say that, you'll make me break up with him.
S- Krips, I love you
K- Love you too baacha!
    It was Friday night. Friday night right after mid-terms is always crazy. This Friday, everyone was going cubbing. Just to celebrate the fact that they lived threw the SAT's and midterms. Everyone was going, Kripa, Raj, Vedika, Angad, everyone except for Meem.
     Meem and Shazad were walking through the school garden. It was during lunch, and it was a really nice afternoon. Light snow, a cool breeze. With the right kind of attire on, you could have a very pleasant walk in this whether. Shazad and Meem were just walking holding hands.
M- Shazad, you can go. Im not telling you to not go.
S- Yeah, but your not going.
M- Ok, if you want me to go, I will.
S- No
M- Huh
S- Meem, I know your not into all this, you don't like it. I don't want you to do anything you don't want ok.
M- Ok then
S- But, see I want to spend today with you
M- So
     Shazad held Meem's hands and turned to her
S- So how about, they all go to the club and we go to a nice romantic dinner.
M (smiling)- Really?
S- Yeah, there's this really good place in Manhatan called Jaya.
M- Oh that Thai resturant?
S- Yeah
M- Ok
S- Great. So…I'll pick you up at 7
M- NO!
S (sigh)- parents
M- Yeah…sorry
S- Its ok
M- Just meet at at the mall, I'll figure something out
S- Ok…you know it sinks that I cant pick my girlfriend up from her house
M- Sorry
S- Its ok…your worth it
M- Thank you
    The bell rang for class.
M- I have to go
S- Yeah Me too.
M- Too bad we don't have the same classes this semester
S- Yeah…kiss
They had a fast kiss, and ran to their classes.
Raj's house-
     Raj was getting ready to go to the club. He was just brushing his hair when he hear someone downstairs. It wa a lady' s voice. Raj knew eight away what was happening. He went downstairs and just peaked to make sure. He was right, it was his father and that lady. How dare he! How dare he bring her in this house. Enough was enough, Raj wasn't going stick around for this crap. He went upstairs packed his bags, and came down.
R- What the hell is going on!
V- Raj this is…
R- Shut up! I told you, I told you that if you bring this woman in this house im out
V- RAJ! This is your mother!!!!!!
R- Don't you dar call this **** my mother
V- Raj!
R- I don't need to stick around for this crap! Im out of here.
     Raj took his bags and left the house. He didn't really care much. He was still gong to the club. He knew he had enough cash to rent a house, and he could work, or crash at his friends house.
     IN THE CLUB-
Angad, Vedika, and Kripa were already there
A- Where's Raj?
K- I don't know, he's not picking up my calls.
A- Oh ok
K- Whatever, lets dance
V- Yeah lets dance.
   All three of them went to the dance floor and danced like crazy. In aclub you really don't know who your dancing with, you just dance. They drank, danced and laughed.
K- Lets go one stage
V- Ok
   Kripa and Vedika and some other people wen ton stage and danced. Kripa loved dancing. It was her passion. Now obviously, guys are gonna be dancing with them too, it's a club for gods sakes. Guys were dancing with Krip and Vedika. Angad went on stage a pulled Vedika to her and danced with her. Kripa was pretty drunk, but then again it's a club. They were all dancing when Raj came in. He could see Kripa on stage ancing with some other guys. He got mad and just left.
K- Great…
Kripa went outside to bring him back.
K- Raj
R- Forget it Kripa
K- Raj whats your problem
R- You! Everyone, everything!
K- Raj…it's a club, your supposed to dance
R- Not with random guys you don't know, espialcially when you have a boyfriend!
K- Oh my god! Calm down, its not like I was kissing any of them
R- Whatever, you go dance…
K- Raj whats wrong?
R- Nothing
     Raj went and sat in his car, and Kripa went to. She held his face, and looked at him
K- What's the matter?
     Raj looked at her and just hugged her. Back in the club Angad and Vedika were thinking about were Kripa went.
V- I don't, I think I saw Raj..maybe they went someplace together
A- That could be it
V- Angad, I have to go
A- Ok lets go
   They were outside walking. It was cold, and dark. They were walking side by side.
A- You aure you have to go
V- Yeah, something important came up
A- Oh…ok
     Vedika was about to get in her car. She turned to say bye to Angad, when Angad just kissed her. Vedika was shocked.
A- Do you know long long I've been wanting to kiss you?
V- Do you long how long I've been waiting for you to kiss me?
    They both laughed.
A- So, aretn you getting late now?
V- It can wait
   Vedika leaned on the front of the car, and Angad was on on and her kissed away. Shazad dropped Meed by the mall. They had a great time together. But Shazad hated not being able to drop Meem in front of her house. He actually followed her with his car all the way home. He was worried, its not safe to be walking along this late. Raj and Kripa were in his car. Raj told her everything, and Kripa said everything would be ok.
     But somewhere inside, they knew it wouldn't be.
