Chapter 3
She looked up from her window to what seemed like the water surface where the waves and the reflection of the moon seemed flustered and presumably shying away from the hour that was drawing nearer, the hour of union, the hour of love. Instantly, a smile began to form on her face which was accelerated further by the touch she felt, the next moment, on the back of her hand, bestowing upon her the chills of ice, the warmth of burning charcoal.
"Arya!" She cried, subdued by the delicate rubbing of his face against hers.
He blew gently at the tip of her earlobe before kissing it and she didn't once try to defend herself from the conquest of her belly by tiny, toothless butterflies as he targeted her neck next, his lips brushing past it, making her moan his name.
"Arya Arjunaa" She hissed with so much of love that he was tempted to take off her neckpiece while whispering into her ear.
"You have made me yours, Uloopi" He uttered in his husky, dreamy voice "Now is my turn, allow me to make you mine, forever."
Ridding her off the necklace, he grabbed her waist next, making her gasp as he gathered her in his arms, her legs swinging in the air. He carried her to the bed lined with the coziest of cushions and the softest of petals of water lilies, to the sweet scent of the most graceful of lotuses and made endless, passionate love to her.

She was clinging onto his arm like one devoid of life as her eyes in all their impudence decided to shed tears of longing and felt it was kind of him to turn and slowly wipe them out. She felt it was peculiar and almost like her own tears were miraculously transported to his eyes when he asked for the eradication of her pain as she saw them roll down his cheeks.
"Arya, I..." She began before he placed his finger on her lips.
"Sshhh! Not a word." He snapped, cleaning his face off tears with the hand that was free.
Uloopi closed her eyes as another tear broke free, another tear that had the echoes of the cluttered emotions in her heart and he heard them. She opened her eyes slowly, took his hand and made him caress her cheeks before she turned to kiss his palm. She knew she could not let her pain deter her want to be his source of eternal strength.
"Aryaputra, as much as I feel that our parting would leave my very soul in ruins, I see that it is inevitable. What is destined is inescapable, my lord and therefore I believe we must not go against it. Do not grieve for this Uloopi for as much as I felt I couldn't live without you, I also have the memories of the delightful moments spent with you for comrades. I will always love and be devoted to you as I promised." Asserted Uloopi, trying really hard to smile.
Arjuna gathered her in his arms once again as the two cried their hearts out, knowing fully well that whatever they might say they were going to miss each other incredibly, they were going to bawl in the agony of that separation each day, remembering their time together. He kissed her forehead for one last time, letting all his love for her seep into that one kiss as she sobbed inconsolably. No words were offered in condolence, only tears and love.
He tried to move away while still clutching her hand as Uloopi proclaimed "I confer upon you the boon of invincibility in water. The inmates of water would forever obey you."
Arjuna only smiled meekly as he took her leave, holding back his suffering with much difficulty and wondering at the possibilities of them meeting again, entirely hopeful. He wanted to capture that form of hers and cherish it till the end of time and know that it was love, just pure, unconditional love as his eyes moistened up in bearing the fateful separation. He knew he would love her, always and forever.
