Kripa: Angad...wake up....
Kripa tried waking him up the nth time. He had reached Khanna house in the morning and still had not freshened up. It was almost dinner time. He atlast opened his eyes and smiled as feeling satisfied and complete.
Kripa: Angad...why dont you go freshen up?...I will go out and grab a bite....seems like the baby's hungry....
Angad put his head against her stomach and smiled as if listening to the baby talk.
Angad: seems like the baby wants to eat dinner with papa today....
Kripa: yup..and so does mama...so go and freshen up quickly...i am waiting...ooppss...i meant......we are waiting...
Angad kissed Kripa's stomach and her once and left to take a shower. After a few minutes, Kirpa heard a knock on the door. She quickly fixed her hair and straighten her clothes.
Aliyah: Hi kripa....disturb kiya kya?
Kripa: of course not aliyah...aao.....
Aliyah stepped in. Kripa noticed Aliyah was a bit too quiet for herself. She knew exactly why.
Kripa: aliyah...dont worry.....kuch nahi hoga...meine kaha tha na tumse.....aur agar kuch hua bhi...to mein sab kuch sambhal lungi..
Aliyah: jaanti hoon Kripa.....jaanti hoon ki tum hamesha mere liye yahan hogi lekin......kar hamari first scanning hai.....mein josh ko naa aane ke liye to nahi keh sakti...lekin agar woh aa gaya...aur usse ya bhai ko pata chal gaya to?.....tab kya hoga Kripa?
Kripa quickly thought up of something and dialed a number.
Kripa: hello...haan....mein Mrs.Kripa khanna bol rahi hoon....haan.....woh actually ek request thi.....kal jab Mein aur Aliyah hamari scanning ke liye aaye....kya aap please Aliyah ke pehle abortion ko secretive rakh sakti hai?? We dont want anyone to know that she has had an abortion before...
Aliyah(as soon as Kripa hung up): Thank you so much Kripa.....i dont know what i would have done without you...
Kripa: dont mention it sweetie...now smile and be happy...
The next day, Angad-Kripa and Josh-Aliyah went for the ladies' scanning. Aliyah and Josh went inside first. Aliyah looked seriously and worriedly at Kripa before she went in. Kripa reassured her that nothing will happen.
After Aliyah's scanning. The doctor came inside looking somewhat worried. The doctor's expressions were increasing Aliyah's heartbeats.
Doctor: Um...Mr.Sharma.....actually....Im sorry but there is a serious mistake in your wife's reports..
Josh: Mistakes....what do you mean?
Doctor: Your wife is not 5 months pregnant.
Josh and Aliyah were both stunned. What was that supposed to mean?
Josh: what do you mean??? She is not pregnant??
Doctor: Oh no....she is....her baby is healthy as well....It was a mistake made by one of our staff members....Mrs.Sharma is actually only 4 months pregnant. Mrs.Sharma....you were worried because you weren't showing as much as mrs.Khanna. am I right?
Aliyah: yes doctor....
Doctor: Thats because she is five months pregnant and you are only four months pregnant.......the mistake on your report was probably made by the nurse who typed your report. Nothing to worry about......
Josh: What rubbish is that?? Today you guys made a small mistake...probably in the future you'll make a bigger one......HOW CAN WE TRUST YOUR STAFF?
Doctor: I am so sorry about that sir. Its just that...we had medical school interns in our hospital when Mrs.Sharma came for her check up...and one of the students must have made a mistake.
Josh(pounded his fist on the table): Next time a mistake like this doctor...and I will sue you!
Josh got up angrily and left. Kripa saw the furious look on his face and thought that he had found out the truth about Aliyah's abortion.
Kripa: Bhai...wait...I can explain..
Josh: WHAT CAN YOU EXPLAIN KRIPA?? These people are so stupid! Who makes a mistake like that...
Kipa: bhai...lekin galati insaan hi to karta hai
Josh: jaanta hoon Kripa...lekin...in doctors ko hum bhaghwan ki jagah bitha kar rakhte hai....aaj inn logo ne itni choti si bhul ki hai....agli baar koi badi bhul karenge.....I am not mad because they said Aliyah was three months pregnant when in reality she had only completed two months....but Kripa....they should be careful....whats going to be next? they will tell a perfectly healthy man he has cancer just cuz they made a mistake?? It shouldnt work that way....I cant wait until us three become doctors.....i can seriously help these doctors get organized......
Kripa sighed out of relief and Angad laughed at the last few sentences josh said. Aliyah came out after she thanked the doctor for both, checking her and not telling josh the truth. Angad and Kripa went in and just like last time, refused to know the gender of their baby.
Doctor: Mrs.Khanna...you and your baby are in the perfect shape. Your baby seems to be growing fast...Its a good sign. Your previous accident has no side effects on this baby but.....You might deliver the baby early...
Kripa(worried): How early?
Doctor: oh no...relax....its not dangerous....its just that petite women tend to deliver early because their body frame cant support the baby as well as it should....but nothing to worry about...your "early" delivery most likely will be when you are in your ninth month.....
Angad: The baby will be healthy and safe after birth?
Doctor: yea...like I said.....the baby's growth is quick and at an excellent pace...there is no other reason other than Mrs.Khanna's small composition.
After a few more questions, Angad and Kripa walked out hand-in-hand and happy. All four soon went home as Aliyah and Kripa were already getting tired. Aliyah had spent the whole night worrying about the scan and as for Kripa, Angad didnt want to let her go and sleep.
Naina: to batao Angad...tumhara course kaisa raha.......jabse tum aaye ho....tabse tumse iss baare mein baat hi nahi hui...
Angad: The course was very interesting mom.....I completed it successfully...there is an extension to it that I can go and do there or stay here and do it....so I am not going back....I will complete the second part here....then I get my complete grades which will allow me to apply to the Academy of Neuroscience. Mujhe bas aapka, dad aur dadi ka Aashirwaad aur Kripa ka pyaar chahiye...phir dekhna...mujhe apna sapna pura karne se koi nahi rok sakta...
Dilip: Hamara aashirwaad to hamesha tumhare saath hai beta...aur tumhara confidence aise hi banaye rakhna.....
Angad: ofcourse dad...
Josh: Ek kaam karna Angad...jab tum ek neurosurgeon ban jao na....mujhe apna assisting doctor bana lena....that way...i can get a prestigious job and I wont have to study...
Angad: no josh...mein aisa kuch nahi karne waala....mein chahta hoon ki hum sab apni apni pehchaan banaye..kisi ko bhi kisi dusre pe dependant nahi rehna chahiye.....Mein chahta hoon ki tum bhi aage ka soch lo aur kaam pe lag jao......
Naina: haan...mujhe do doctor bete bhi mil jayenge....bas ek baat ka afsos hai...Kripa aur Aliyah ko apne sapne pure karne ka mauka hi nahi mila...I am sure ki woh dono bhi kuch bada kaam kar sakti hai....Pehle to itni si umar mein unki shaadi hi gayi aur ab itni young age mein dono maa bhi ban jayengi...I am afraid they won't get the chance to reach their goals they had for their life....
Aliyah(calling from her bedroom): JOSSHHHHHH!!!!!!
Josh sighed and went into the room scared to face what she was about to say. As josh got up and went into his room,
Kripa(from her bedroom): Anggaaaddddd!!!
Angad: Just a minute!!!
Naina(giggled): beta...yahan par just a minute nahi chalega....tumne kal dekha tha na josh ki kya halat hui thi....aur abhi dekho...aliyah ne bulaya to kaise jhatt se uth kar gaya.....tum bhi jao.....varna tumhari khair nahi...
Kripa(calling once again): ANGADDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angad got up and went into the room to see what was up with her.
Kripa: kahan the tum? Kabse bula rahi hoon tumhe....
Angad: kabse?? Kripa...sweetie tumne mujhe sirf do baar bulaya hai...
Kripa: DO BAAAR!!!!!! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH ENERGY I USE TO CALL YOU TWO TIMES..........argh!! Kuch nahi jao tum yahan se....mein khud chali jaati hoon...
Angad: Kahan jaa rahi ho?
Kripa: TUMSE MATLAB????
Angad: ok baba..Im sorry...(holds his ears) bas...abhi bolo...kya hua? Kahan jaa rahi ho?
Kripa: mein mall mein jaa rahi hoon....
Angad: Kyun??? Shopping?
Kripa: nooo...i want to go to ben n jerry's....
Angad: haan...to mall mein jaane ki kya jarurat hai? there is a ben n jerry's around the corner....
Kripa: nahi..that one doesnt have double fudge ice cream with whip cream and a cherry on top.....the mall's store does.....
Angad: erm...with what??
Kripa: With whip-cream-and-a-cherry-on-top.......
Angad: ohk....I'll go and get it....you stay here ok??
Kripa: can I come with you?
Angad: um...Kripa...im taking the bike....care servicing ke liye di hai.....and I dont think you want to ride on the bike with me.....
Kripa: AB MUJHE HAR WAQT GHAR PAR REHNA PADEGA.....WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!! JAO...MEIN TUMSE BAAT NAHI KARUNGI....
She stomped to the bathroom in a huff leaving behind a taken aback Angad.
Angad(thinking to himself): Oh My God..poor josh went through this with two women......mujhse ek nahi sambhalti....
Angad ran out of the room and was making his way out of the house when Josh ran out of their bedroom and ran towards the exit as well. The two men crashed and hit the floor.
Angad: Ow!!!!
Josh: itni si hi to chot lagi hai tumhe...mujhe jaane do varna Tumhari behen mujhe maar dalegi..
Angad: tumhari behen bhi kuch kum nahi hai!
Both men got up and ran once again only to figure out that they were going to the same place and were getting the EXACT SAME orders for their wives. On their way back, they saw Dilip getting out of his car at the mall.
Angad: dad...can we please take your car?
Josh: papa Anjali aur Kripa ki farmaish puri karni hai varna hum dono aaj khatam ho jayenge
Angad: we brought our bikes....you can take that...here's the key...thanks dad.
Angad and Josh hastily handed dilip the keys and drove away in the car.
Dilip: ab mein kya karu....mujhe to bike chalana bhi nahi aata....
