Part 36:

Angad-Kripa's room before the party:

Kripa: Angad...seedhe khade raho na...

Angad: kyun?  mein to apni biwi ko kisses de raha hoon..to phir kyun bandh karu?

Kripa: kyunki mujhe tie baandhne mein mushkil ho rahi hai....

Angad: mein phir se keh raha hoon Kripa...c'mon....lets just stay up here na...

Kripa: Angad...kitne acche bete ho tum......apne mom dad ki 25th anniversary par bhi tum unke saath waqt nahi bitaoge?

Angad: Kripa....apni zindagi ke 20 saal meine unke saath guzare hai...tumhare saath to 20 mahine bhi nahi bita paya abhi tak..

Kripa: dont worry angad...ab puri zindagi mere saath hi rehna padega tumhe....you have no choice..

Angad: i dont want another choice....

Kripa at last managed to knot his tie that she had been trying to work on for the past 20 minutes.

Kripa: tie theek hai?

Angad: nahi...its too loose!

kripa took a step forward and tightened it a bit more.

Angad: its still too loose...

Kripa: Angad...are you trying to get your self strangled by your very own wife?

Angad: maybe...

Kripa rolled her eyes and tightened it a bit more.

Angad: ow ow...Kripa...that's too tight..its choking me!

Kripa: Angad!!  Make up your mind!  kabhi kehte ho tight hai kabhi kehte ho loose hai...

Angad: agar kahunga ki theek hai.....to tum mujhe akela chod kar taiyaar hone chali jaogi...

Kripa: accha?....aur agar tumne abhi mujhe seedhe seedhe yahan se nahi jaane diya na...to mein sach much mein tumhe chod kar bhaag jaungi...

angad: Kripa..kabhi mere sapne mein bhi aisa mat karna varna main paagal ho jaunga..

Kripa: itna pyaar karte ho mujhse?

Angad: apni jaan se bhi jyada...

kripa: kaafi filmi dialouge hai...lekin ek baat batao...agar tum mujhse itna pyaar karte ho...to kehne mein itni der kyun lagadi?

Angad(circled her waist and brought her closer): i was afraid to lose you...i was ready to live with your friendship but i wasn't ready to lose you at any cost....i wasn't, i'm not, and i never will be......tumhare pyaar ne mujhe deewaana bana diya hai....

Kripa: accha?...ab tumne jo bhi kaha...uss mein se kitna sach tha aur kitne statements mujhe please karne ke liye the..

Kripa: Mr.Angad Khanna...mujhse itni asaani se peecha nahi chutne waala samjhe?  kam se kam agle saath janam tak to mujhe jelna hi padega...

Angad: saat janam to kya Kripa..mein sau janam tak tumhe jelne ko taiyaar hoon...

Kripa smiled and hugged angad to hide her flushed face from him.  Angad hid his face in her neck curve and held her tightly.

Kripa: Angad..ab chodoge....mujhe abhi bhi ready hona hai...

Angad reluctantly let her go.  Kripa went into the washroom and came out after, to angad what seemed forever, came out wearing a white and blue sari to match completely with Angad's white suit with blue shirt.  Angad was absolutely floored by her heavenly beauty.  He took steps towards her without taking his eyes off of her in response to which kripa just shyly moved back until she reached the corner of the room.  Angad locked her between the wall and his muscular body which pressed against her tiny frame causing her heartbeats to quicken.  Kripa's heartbeat was racing at the fastest speed it could reach, somehow, his proximity to her was making her lose control of her own senses.  The strong smell of his cologne was driving her absolutely insane.  She closed her eyes as her breaths beacame uneven and heavy.

Angad(husky voice): kisi ka katal(murder) karne ka irada hai kya?

Kripa remained silent as she absorbed his warmth through her thin sari and his silk shirt.  Angad smiled mischeiviously realizing what effect his promiximity had on Kripa.  He gently kissed her lips and moved back, allowing her to breathe.  Kripa opened her eyes and wiped the sweat beads off of her forehead and neck.

Angad(smiled): Chale?...

kripa shyly nodded and walked after him.  Now that everything was out in the open, Angad hated his empty hands.  He grabbed Kripa's hand and locked their fingers as continued walking to their car.  The drive to the hall where the party was arranged was quiet.  Kripa was too lost in the thoughts of their future together to talk, and angad was too busy driving and looking at her which he did more of.

Angad: kya soch rahi ho?

Kripa: huh??...oh...kuch nahi...bas aise hi....yakeen nahi hota ki yeh sab sach hai...abhi bhi aisa hi lag raha hai jaise mein ek sapna dekh rahi hoon...abhi aankh khulegi aur sab kuch khatam ho jayega...

Angad: tum ladkiyon ki yahi problem hoti hai....ajj se jyada kal ke baare mein jyada sochti hai....aur rahi baat hamari to tum koi sapna nahi dekh rahi ho...

Kripa: haan...lekin kabhi socha na tha ki achanak itna sab kuch...humne pehle bhi iss topic par baat karne ki kitni koshish thi lekin..

Angad: lekin har baar adhuri reh gayi thi...kyun ki kuch logo ne ye sab plan kiya tha?

Kripa: kya?  kaun?  kyun?

Angad(giggled): kripa...relax....Anjali, aliyah and their husbands planned all this...

angad told Kripa about their plan from the beginning.  By the time angad was finished telling her, they had arrived at the hall.  Angad parked his car, and held the door open for Kripa.

Kripa: yahan pe bhi kuch plan kiya hai kya?

Angad: i hope not...

Angad held Kripa by the waist and walked into the hall which roared with applause once Naina and Dilip had arrived.  Kripa, just like she always did, touched dadi, naina, and dilip's feet.  Josh came in front of Kripa and pointed to his feet as if telling her to touch his feet as well.  Kripa smiled and approached to touch his feet.  After all, he was her older brother.  He had also played the role of a mother and a father for her after they passed away.  Josh backed off a little taken aback.

Josh: Kripa...give me hug..you know what i believe...

Kripa: yes yes...i know....sirf bhagwan ke saamne humein jhukna chahiye lekin bhai..mere liye aap bhagwan ki jagah hi hai....bilukl waise jaise mom, dad, dadi aur Angad hai...agar aap sab meri zindagi mein nahi hote to pata nahi aaj mein zinda hoti bhi ya nahi..

Angad: Kripa...aaj keh diya...phir kabhi mat kehna...varna mujhse bura koi nahi hoga...

Kripa: sorry....thodi emotional ho gayi thi..

Angad: kya yaar josh......jab woh apne naye ghar jaa rahi thi tab bhi tumne usse rulaya tha...aur aaj bhi rula diya....

Josh: usne mujhe tum dono ki shaadi ke din rulaya tha na....aj meine badla liya hai...

Kripa:  Acha?...to dekh lena....ek din mein aisa badla lungi tumse ki tumhare aansu hi nahi rukenge...

josh: we will see!

Kripa:     WE WILL SEE!

Josh: fine!

Kripa: FINE!

Angad: oh my god....here we go again.....Kripa...how about you leave him alone...Aliyah will kill you if you bug him...

Aliyah: bhai!!!!  I will NOT..

Angad: will too

Aliyah: will NOT

Angad: will too too too

Aliyah: will not not not..

Kripa: lo...ab hamara jaghda bandh hua...to tum dono ka shuru ho gaya...

everyone laughed seeing the two brother-sister pairs fight like teenagers.

Ok guys.  I agree it was short.  But I am too tired to make it any longer.  I was actually out the whole day with Pia and our friends, went to downtown, shopping (and all the girls would know how tiring that can be), then went to the CN tower...so tired, my legs feel like jelly right now..lol.  Will post a part tomorrow too but It might be short again since I have a test on monday and I will be studying for it.  In the past few days, so much has been happening, I havent even touched my homework yet!!  I am sure you guys will understand like you always have.  Take care.  Ciao until the next part!
