Part 27:
It was a big day in khanna Mansion. It was Aliyah's wedding Day. All the preparations were done. All the puja's had started. In the evening, guests started to arrive on the exact time. In fact it seemed as if the Khanna's themselves weren't ready. For once, Kripa got ready quicker than Angad and headed downstairs to greet the guests. She was about to make her way down the stairs but Naina stopped her.
Naina: Kripa...tum aur Angad...dono saath mein neeche aana....Angad kahan hai?
Kripa: woh ready ho rahe hai mom.
Naina: accha...tum abhi apne kamre mein jaao..dono saath mein neeche aana....theek hai?
Kripa nodded sweetly and walked back into her room where Angad was brushing his hair. He turned to look at the door immediately after he heard the sound of Kripa's anklets. He stared at her from head to toe while his warm stare gave her goosebumps.
Kripa: Angad...kya ho gaya hai tumhe? Aaj to mein bhi tumse pehle ready ho gayi...
Angad: Kyun ki tum peechle teen ghanto se taiyaar ho rahi ho...aur mein sirf ek ghante se...
Kripa rolled her eyes sweetly making him giggle.
Angad: Tum vaapas aa gayi? tum to neeche gayi thi na..
Kripa: actually...jaane waali thi lekin mom ne kaha ki hum dono ko neeche saath mein jaana hai..
Angad: well.......to hamari entry thodi si late hogi..
Kripa: Kyun?
Angad(teasingly): Kyun ki mujhe taiyaar hone mein abhi adha ghanta lag jayega
Kripa: WHAT??...aur kya karna hai tumhe?...you are all dressed....you just need to comb your hair...you dont have to worry about jewelery like we do...
Angad: well....my hair is the hottest part of me...i make sure it looks good.
Kripa(mumbling under her breath): you are 100% hot...its not just you hair..
Angad: tumne kuch kaha?
Kripa: haan....how about i get you ready?
Angad: ok......................................................MOM! !
Kripa: i guess i will have to become your mother if i want you to get down there in time, lets see...
Kripa walked up to him and ruffled his hair.
Angad: hey......why did you do that?
Kripa: its the same old style......try something different.....
Kripa took gel and gelled his hair and then she spiked the hair on top of his head lightly and combed down the sides.
Kripa: there...thats something new..
Angad: oh wow....looks awsome...thanks....hm...maybe i should hire you as my make up woman..
Kripa: sure why not!..now can we get going?...please?
Angad: of course..lets go..
Both were quietly walking out the door when Kripa suddenly stopped looking a bit nervous.
Kripa: oh...great......
Angad: kya hua....
Before Angad could finish, Kripa took steps backwards into their room leaving a confused Angad. Angad slowly followed her and found her in the middle of the room, struggling with her blouse hook on the back. He watched her struggle silently not sure if he should help her or not. How would she react if he did go up to her and help her without her asking for it? After all, She was a woman. One can figure out the meaning of life but could never figure out a girl's behaviour completely. Kripa finally gave up and looked at Angad pleadingly.
Kripa: Angad...ye hook bandh nahi ho raha hai.....please..band kar do na...
Angad nodded and located himself behind her. He hooked up the hook in no time. Kripa was about to take a step away when his hands stopped her. He moved her waist length long hair off of her back and slowly bent down placing a gentle kiss on her shoulder blade. Kripa closed her eyes and bit back a moan. After he parted from her, Kripa brought herself back into senses and thanked him while blushing.
Angad: by the way...you're looking gorgeous...as usual...
Kripa(blushed even deeper): you are looking hot....as usual...
Kripa winked at him and both walked to the door. While they were walking down the stairs, Angad placed his hand around Kripa's shoulder. She didn't mind it at all. Infact, She liked that gesture. It made her comfortable, it made her feel safe. All eyes followed them as the perfect looking couple made their way down the stairs. As soon as they entered the crowd, they were wished a "happy half anniversary" by a few people including their families. Soon, both merged into the crowd, chatting, gossiping, catching up with latest news until the auspicious time for Aliyha-Josh wedding had come. Angad and Kripa went and brought down josh. Josh sat down in the mandap and started the rituals that the groom does before the bride joins him. Angad and Kripa took Josh's parents spot whenever they needed. Angad knew that she would break down if they kept asking for her parents so he would secretly placed his hand on her back and pat her. between the rituals, he would make her laugh somehow so she forgot about her grief until the second ritual. After a few rituals, the priest asked Naina and Kripa to bring down Aliyah. Anjali joined Naina and Kripa while they made their way up the stairs. As soon as they entered Aliyah's room, aliyah came running to them.
Aliyah: what took you so long?....how do i look? ok forget all this..lets go.
The three women giggled at Aliyah's eagerness to get married. Kripa remembered her wedding day when she didnt feel like going down into the mandap and how she had made her heart as strong as a rock so she could tolerate her wedding. But Angad's considerate, understanding, loving and caring nature caused her "rock" heart to turn back into a normal heart. She brushed off the thoughts while taking aliyah out of the room. Aliyah was brought down and sat beside josh while the final rituals started. Everyone was extremely happy and it was clearly visible. Everyone showered them with flowers during their "saat phere". Josh put the sindoor in her maang as Kripa wiped a tear of happiness from her cheek. She smiled ear to ear looking at her brother with his life partner that he loved dearly. After the wedding ceremony, Josh and Aliyah were seated in elegantly decorated chairs to wait for the auspicious "vidaii" time. During the wait, Dhruv and Angad started Singing Salaam-E-Ishq.
They were all busy cleaning up after the wedding. All the butlers of the house sweeped the floor and eveything but naina and Kripa had to take care of all the gifts and all the other important jobs. Dadi had dozed off in her room as she got tired easily because of her heart problem.
Naina: Kripa...zara woh box to dena...tumhare peeche hai dekho.
Kripa turned around, picked up the box and handed it to naina when she felt a shot of pain across her forehead. Naina was saying something to her about the box but kripa could not comprehend as she seemed to be losing her hearing also. When Naina looked up, she saw Kripa fall to the ground with a thud.
Naina: Kripa!!!!!!!!!!!! Dilip, Dhruv....Anjali!!!!!.....jaldi aao..Kripa behosh ho gayi hai....
Dilip and Teddy came running and were startled to see Kripa knocked out like that.
Dilip: Achanak kya hua? abhi thodi der pehle to theek thi...
Naina: pata nahi...abhi abhi yahin khadi thi...meine upar dekha to ye achanak se gir gayi..
Dilip: teddy...call the doctor Immediately!! Call angad too
Naina: No...dont call Angad.....woh pareshaan ho jaayega...or itni raat ko pareshaan ho kar drive karna safe nahi hai....
Dilip and Dhruv carried Kripa to her room with Naina and Anjali's help and put her down on the bed. After a few minutes, a Doctor showed up. He asked everyone to leave the room as she checked her. Everyone walked out of the room and saw devyani standing there looking scared.
Devyani: Kya ho raha hai?..itna shor kaisa?
Naina: mamma woh...Kripa achanak behosh ho gayi hai..
Devyani: hey bhagwaan...meri bacchi ki raksha karna...
The doctor opened the door and told everyone that they could come in. All rushed in to see Kripa who was slowly getting her conciousness back. At last she opened her eyes and looked around the room. She sat up on the bed while Naina helped her.
Naina: beta...tum theek ho?
Kripa: haan...bas...sir mein dard hai...
Doctor: thats because your head hit the floor when you fainted.
Naina: lekin doctor...why did she faint?..abhi thodi der pehle to theek thi....
Doctor: nahi...yeh kai dino se theek nahi hai...lekin ghabrane waali koi baat nahi....actually She is two months pregnant.
Kripa looked at the doctor with a "what the hell are you talking about?" look. But then her expressions changed when she remembered the night when her and Angad had united. A smile spread across her face while Naina, Dilip, and the most of all, Devyani were very delighted.
Naina: congratulations Kripa......Doctor..aap ye baat kisi aur se mat kahiyega...khaas kar Angad se to bilkul nahi..mein khud usse bataungi...
Dilip: Mein dada banne waala hoon...thank you so much beta....tumhari vajah se aaj mujhe woh rishta bhi milne jaa raha hai jiska mujhe kai dino se kwab tha..
Devyani: tum sab se jyaada mein khush hoon....mein apne baccho ke bete ke bacche bhi dekh sakungi....mein aaj bahut khush hoon Kripa....Naina...ab tum meri position lene jaa rahi ho..
Naina: haan mamma....kisi din fursat mein aapse kuch tips leni padegi..
Dhruv: Congrats Kripa....
Anjali: Kripa....mein bahut khush hoon....hum ab sab kuch saath mein kar saktein hai...morning walks, evening walks, check ups........
All Kripa could do as of now was smile and nod at their comments. But inside she was worried about Angad. How will He react? What if he was not ready for this? They had decided that they will never mention that night again, but destiny was giving them a symbol of that night.
Doctor: aap sab abhi inko thoda aaram karne dijiye...shaadi ke mahaul ki wajah se unki body par thoda sa stress hai....isi liye ye behosh ho gayi thi.
Dadi, Dhruv, Anjali and Dilip took a leave after congratulating Kripa once again. Naina decided to stay there until Angad came home. After dropping Dadi in her room, Dilip dropped the doctor till her car. Dilip went into his room to call josh and Aliyah and give them the news.
Most of you said "Kripa is preggy"....LOL.......this might not be surprising....but yea...i had to put that in....

1) He will be extremely happy and will accept the baby.
2) he won't have a problem with it but he wont be happy with the situation either, yet he will accept the baby.

When the time of vidaai came, Naina was the first one to start crying. After all, a mother was sending her daughter away. Kripa had mixed feelings as aliyah would no longer be in Khanna house but she was her brother's wife now. Angad didn't shed a single tear as he knew aliyah would be as pampered with josh as she was in Khanna family. For their first night, Angad was driving them to a hotel because otherwise, Aliyah wouldn't make it for the "pag phere" rasm. Angad asked Kripa to accompany him but Naina refused saying that Kripa will be needed there for some work. Angad sat the newly-wed couple in his car and drove away. They were all busy cleaning up after the wedding. All the butlers of the house sweeped the floor and eveything but naina and Kripa had to take care of all the gifts and all the other important jobs. Dadi had dozed off in her room as she got tired easily because of her heart problem.
Naina: Kripa...zara woh box to dena...tumhare peeche hai dekho.
Kripa turned around, picked up the box and handed it to naina when she felt a shot of pain across her forehead. Naina was saying something to her about the box but kripa could not comprehend as she seemed to be losing her hearing also. When Naina looked up, she saw Kripa fall to the ground with a thud.
Naina: Kripa!!!!!!!!!!!! Dilip, Dhruv....Anjali!!!!!.....jaldi aao..Kripa behosh ho gayi hai....
Dilip and Teddy came running and were startled to see Kripa knocked out like that.
Dilip: Achanak kya hua? abhi thodi der pehle to theek thi...
Naina: pata nahi...abhi abhi yahin khadi thi...meine upar dekha to ye achanak se gir gayi..
Dilip: teddy...call the doctor Immediately!! Call angad too
Naina: No...dont call Angad.....woh pareshaan ho jaayega...or itni raat ko pareshaan ho kar drive karna safe nahi hai....
Dilip and Dhruv carried Kripa to her room with Naina and Anjali's help and put her down on the bed. After a few minutes, a Doctor showed up. He asked everyone to leave the room as she checked her. Everyone walked out of the room and saw devyani standing there looking scared.
Devyani: Kya ho raha hai?..itna shor kaisa?
Naina: mamma woh...Kripa achanak behosh ho gayi hai..
Devyani: hey bhagwaan...meri bacchi ki raksha karna...
The doctor opened the door and told everyone that they could come in. All rushed in to see Kripa who was slowly getting her conciousness back. At last she opened her eyes and looked around the room. She sat up on the bed while Naina helped her.
Naina: beta...tum theek ho?
Kripa: haan...bas...sir mein dard hai...
Doctor: thats because your head hit the floor when you fainted.
Naina: lekin doctor...why did she faint?..abhi thodi der pehle to theek thi....
Doctor: nahi...yeh kai dino se theek nahi hai...lekin ghabrane waali koi baat nahi....actually She is two months pregnant.
Kripa looked at the doctor with a "what the hell are you talking about?" look. But then her expressions changed when she remembered the night when her and Angad had united. A smile spread across her face while Naina, Dilip, and the most of all, Devyani were very delighted.
Naina: congratulations Kripa......Doctor..aap ye baat kisi aur se mat kahiyega...khaas kar Angad se to bilkul nahi..mein khud usse bataungi...
Dilip: Mein dada banne waala hoon...thank you so much beta....tumhari vajah se aaj mujhe woh rishta bhi milne jaa raha hai jiska mujhe kai dino se kwab tha..
Devyani: tum sab se jyaada mein khush hoon....mein apne baccho ke bete ke bacche bhi dekh sakungi....mein aaj bahut khush hoon Kripa....Naina...ab tum meri position lene jaa rahi ho..
Naina: haan mamma....kisi din fursat mein aapse kuch tips leni padegi..
Dhruv: Congrats Kripa....
Anjali: Kripa....mein bahut khush hoon....hum ab sab kuch saath mein kar saktein hai...morning walks, evening walks, check ups........
All Kripa could do as of now was smile and nod at their comments. But inside she was worried about Angad. How will He react? What if he was not ready for this? They had decided that they will never mention that night again, but destiny was giving them a symbol of that night.
Doctor: aap sab abhi inko thoda aaram karne dijiye...shaadi ke mahaul ki wajah se unki body par thoda sa stress hai....isi liye ye behosh ho gayi thi.
Dadi, Dhruv, Anjali and Dilip took a leave after congratulating Kripa once again. Naina decided to stay there until Angad came home. After dropping Dadi in her room, Dilip dropped the doctor till her car. Dilip went into his room to call josh and Aliyah and give them the news.
Most of you said "Kripa is preggy"....LOL.......this might not be surprising....but yea...i had to put that in....
**Ok.....what will be Angad's reaction....make a guess from the following choices.
1) He will be extremely happy and will accept the baby.
2) he won't have a problem with it but he wont be happy with the situation either, yet he will accept the baby.
3) he will be upset and accept the baby
4) he will be upset and ask Kripa to get an abortion done.
