edding was over. Youngsters took over the hall and there was music, masti & dance all around. Everyone was dancing except three. Ali was sitting alone on a couch watching his friends. Yudi & Roohy were sitting together in a different corner. Roohy had sprained her leg & she could not dance. Yudi preferred to sit with her but he somehow looked thoughtful. Naina saw him like that and came to him.

"Roohy lagta hai Yudi abhi se hi apni shaadi ke bare mein sochne laga hai"

"Cut it out Naina" Yudi wasn't in the mood.

"Kya hua Yudi"

"Kuch nahin"

"You really think we are gonna buy that" Even Roohy was inquisitive.

"Actually……. main Alekh aur Neelu ke bare mein soch raha tha"

"What about them" Naina asked

"Yaar you know they have been seeing each other for over four years now, but I don't think they even know where their relationship is heading."

"Yudi I think tum over react kar rahe ho" Roohy told him. Even Naina had a similar opinion.

"I think Roohy is right. Aur tum is tarah se kyun soch rahe ho. Yeh socho ki even after four years they are together. Aur phir tumhe in dono mein se kis pe bharosa nahin hai, apne dost pe ya apni behen pe. They are mature people. Woh apna bhala bura soch sakte hain"

"Hmmmm…………….. May be you are right but I am her elder brother. It's just that I am protective about her. But let it be, you won't understand"

"I do Yudi…I do understand. You know, Bhaiyya bhi mujhe le ke kafi protective hua karte the. Agar aaj woh yahan hote to……" Naina was upset.

"…to Huda jaise ladkon ko apni dearest sis ke aas-paas bhi bhatakne nahin dete, watssay???"

Naina smiled and slapped Yudi on his arm.

"Shut up Yudi" Naina looked at Huda who was dancing with everyone else there. He was a changed guy. In these last three years after passing out from KMA he has been her closest friend. Though she was in touch with everyone as well but she & Huda, they talked over phone almost daily. He has been very sweet and caring. She has started liking him very much. But she always hated herself for hurting Huda. He was a very special friend......

 

Suddenly Naina noticed Ali sitting alone in a corner. She got up & put off the music.

"Oye, yeh music kisne band kiya" Huda shouted.

"Maine"

"Phoolan tujhe kya ho gaya hai"

"C'mon guys yeh masti to saari raat chalti rahegi but think about Ali & Pooja. She must be waiting for him aur tum logon ne usko yahan bitha ke rakha hai. First of all let him go, then we shall continue"

"Naina aisa kuch nahin hai…aap log please carry on" Ali said, getting up from his couch.

Huda winked at Alekh and they both went to Ali.

"Sun liya Naina, Dulhe Raja aaj saari raat apni dulhan se intezar karane ke mood mein hain. To ab hum kar hi kya sakte hai, chal music laga wapas se" saying this Huda pushed Ali back into couch.

"Huda bhai humne aisa kab kaha"

"Nahin Huda, dekh….mara jaa raha yeh apni punjaban ke pass jaane ke liye. Jaane de isko." Saying this Alekh pulled him up from couch.

"Hamara yeh matlab nahin tha Alekh bhai"

"Dekha qaidi, nahin jaana hai ise" & Huda pushed him back.

"Nahin re, isko jaane ka hai" & Alekh again pulled him up.

"Nahin jana hai"

"Arrey, jana hai"

"Nahin jaana hai"

"Jaana hai"

Huda & Alekh kept pushing Ali back & pulling him up as their argument continued. Soon it turned into a tug-of-war as each of them started pulling Ali on their side and the argument between Huda and Alekh continued. Rest of them were having a very difficult time trying to control their laugh and beyond a point they couldn't do that. Every one of them started laughing. Finally Roohy and Neelu intervened and took Ali from there. They escorted him to his room where Pooja was waiting for him and pushed him inside.

"All the Best guys. Have fun" Both of them said that and locked the door behind.

 

Ali was shaking. Though he had been given 'tips' by Alekh, Huda & Yudi, none of them felt to be helping him. He didn't know anything else but there was one thing he wanted to do. He was feeling bad for the way he confessed his love to Pooja. He knew it wasn't just bad but it was the pits. He had to correct that. Pooja was sitting there on the bed. The bindaas punjaban was blushing behind her veil. They both sat quietly for a while and finally after gathering all his courage Ali said,

"Pooja hum aapse kuch kehna chahte hain."

"Kya"

"Us din jab humne aapse …….." he was at a loss of words.

"Hamara matlab hai jis tarah……"

"Matlab hum….woh" He didn't knew how to put it.

"Ali baat kya hai"

Ali knew he needs to calm himself down. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath & looked at Pooja.

"Pooja hum aapse bahut pyaar karte hain aur aaj hum bahut khush hain. Hum bas yehi kehna chahte the. Us din hum aap se theek se keh nahin paaye the….isliye aaj hum aapko sabse pehle yehi baat batana chahte the"

Pooja lifted her veil and smiled at Ali.

"Main jaanti hoon Ali.Us din tune apne dil ki baat chahe jaise bhi kahi ho, mere liye to sirf yeh important hai ki akhir tune kaha to"

Ali couldn't even hear her properly. She was looking absolutely gorgeous in her trousseau even in the dim light of the room. He was spell bound by her mesmerizing beauty.

"Aap bahut khoobsurat lag rahi hain Pooja" and Pooja blushed again.

Ali kissed her on the corner of her eyes. She could feel his breath on her face. It felt wonderful. She closed her eyes and her lips parted. His lips quivered as they moved to kiss her on her lips. His heartbeat was getting faster. But he didn't want to think about anything else. He was with his soul mate & this night was special. He wanted this night to be the most memorable night of their lives. Finally his lips touched hers and soon a passion was ignited within them with their lips sealed in a kiss and their tongues playing with each other. It was their first kiss and the night had just begun…….
