Chapter 23

Kripa wakes up in morning very relaxed for once not at all tired even though she had gone to sleep at about 2 in the morning worrying about her sister. She looks at the clock next to her bed which reads 10:30. She cries out and slaps her self in the head. Late again, no wonder she slept so peacefully.

Then she remembers something that makes curse herself a few more times, "OMG, I am sooooooo dead, Angad is going to kill me, the project was due today and I was suppose to be there to help him present it."

She gets up and get dressed, and walks out of the room absolutely furious with herself, "Why the hell cant I be like normal people who wake up on time, and how come no one woke me up. I know mama papa are out of town but what happened to Anjali??"

She goes downstairs and finds that no one is there not even Anjali. She goes and sits on the breakfast table finding a little surprise for her self a little pink bear the size that would fit into the palm of her hands was waiting for her on the breakfast table. She calls the servant.

"Yes ma'm did u have work for me."

"No but who sent this," Kripa says pointing at the bear

"Some person sent this, it had no name or address on it."

"ok u can go" the door bell rings again, and Kripa goes to open the door. There is no one there but there is another pink bear larger than the last one on the door steps.

"Who is sending this?? Probably Prithvi I ll fix him when I get to college. How does he know though that I like bears?? I don't remember telling him."

Kripa doesn't have much time to worry about the matter as she is late and has to get to college as quickly as possible. She hurries to her car and opens it and to no surprise there is another bear larger than the last one waiting in the driver's seat. If Kripa hadn't loves bears so much she might have thrown it into a trash can just with fury.

Kripa reaches college just as a class periods had ended, She goes towads her locker (I don't know if school in India have them but in America we do) looking for Angad to ask him how the presentation went, but finds Aliya instead.

"Hey Kripa what's up?… did u just come??" "Aren't u early" she adds being sarcastic.

"Ya I know woke up so late in the morning, where is Angad."

Aliya shrugs, "Who know he must be here somewhere." Kripa opens her locker while Aliya waits for her as they had the next class together. She groans once more seeing what was in her locker, yes another pink bear but this one was so big that it barely fit in.

"Oh wow Kripa someone adores u, who sent it to u?"

"Wish I knew I would choke him with my bear hands."

Aliya giggles, "Oh come on Kripa if I had been sent that, I would be soo happy, I would practically be flying by now."

"Well I was quite pleased when the first one came but this is getting ridiculous."

"How many have u gotten so far."

"Four counting this one and none of them had a name on it." Kripa's mouth suddenly goes round in surprise, "Is it possible that this was sent by him."

Aliya looks surprised "Sent by who?"

"Oh no one, just forget it lets go" Kripa thinks to herself, "I told Sahil yesterday that I like bears is it possible that he sent it, come off it Kripa how would he know u are Kripa Sharma and how would he know ur address or ur school. Its probably just a coincidence but when I find out who sent this he will have his head taken off."

Kripa takes the bear and goes off towards class having to endure curious glances and pointing and had to endure Aliya's continuous giggling. She doesn't mind as much but her curiosity was getting to her.

"Hey Kripa" Kripa turns around and sees Prithvi.

"Hey" Kripa smiles as Prithvi runs over to her

"What's that in ur hand"

"Err… somebody is sending me those from this morning, no name, nothing, not even a note."

"Kripa lets go or we'll be late for class again." Aliya says voicing her concern

"Ok bye Prithvi see u"

"Bye" Prithvi looks at her go his eyes narrowed in suspicion

College ends and Kripa heads on home, wondering who could sent her those bears if it wasn't Prithvi then who was it. And she was still worried sick about what happened to the project she hadn't seen Angad all day to ask him, and was wondering weather he had even come. And to atop her worries she goes to her car to find the tyre flat.

"Hey Kripa" Kripa looks back to find Angad staring at her, not at all mad at her. He grins at the flat tyre, "Need a ride"

Kripa sighs, "Yeah sure, that's the first good thing happen to me today anyways."
