"Hey Kripa are u ready or what," Prithvi call from downstairs.
"Coming Prithvi just wait few seconds." Kripa appears after a few minutes, "Ok I am ready lets go."
"Finally" Prithvi says annoyed, "I thought it would be midnight before we had our dinner."
Kripa is really annoyed with Prithvi now b/c he had not once complemented her (it gets really annoying as most of u gals probably know), she thinks to herself, "Guys take things for granted (they do, I know that from experience), I remember Angad how he reacts whenever he saw me his looks clearly said that I am beautiful, No no no, no thinking about Angad shut up mind, Kripa ur on a date with Prithvi and think only about Prithvi, ONLY PRITHVI." By the time Kripa is through waging war with her mind they are already at the restaurant.
"Nice place." Kripa says pleased with the beautiful lighting.
"Ya I know this is my favorite restaurant." Prithvi pull out a chair for Kripa to sit in and then places himself in the chair beside it.
"So how is Angad I hope he doesn't bother u anymore like on the first day."
"Oh no he is really nice. I cant believe that he actually played the prank on me the first day. I just love his voice, its so sweet that anyone can get lost in it."
Prithvi feels really annoyed now and even more angry, "Well ya he is pretty popular with girls and stuff u know, he changes girlfriends like every week, its amazing. I guess some guys can never settle for one girl." the bitterness in his voice is clearly visible making Kripa feel uneasy.
They both are quite for a while Kripa feels a bit awkward so decides to start a conversation, "So Prithvi how is ur project going with josh."
"Oh great, what about u and Angad. Josh told me u guys still have to practice dance steps." Kripa looks up at him, as Prithvi surveys her reaction closely.
"Oh that ya we already did it, this afternoon in fact." she looks down feeling guilty
"Well how did it go, was it fun."
"Err… it was okay…, it went well I suppose." She hastily changes the subject again feeling paranoid, "Lets not talk about college here, so tell me who is in ur family."
"Oh no one really just me and my dad I rarely ever get to see him because he is out for business trips and stuff. What about u who do u have in ur family."
"Umm… mom and dad and Anjali my sister and er… that it. A nice small family" She adds her voice slightly higher, Kripa's phone rings.
"Hello"
"Hello this Dr. Black, is this Kripa Sharma"
Kripa feels as though a golf ball is stuck in her throat, she knows exactly what this must be about, "Yes this is Kripa."
"I just called to tell u that ur sister is not well."
"Priya?? What happened to her?"
"Well she is having sorts of fits, I can tell u everything on the phone can u plzz come here as soon as possible, b/c it would be nice to have someone of the family to be here with her."
"I ll be right there." Kripa rushes out of the restaurant with everyone staring at her, Prithvi follows with no idea what the heck was going on.
"Kripa what happened. Why did u just run out of there?"
"Prithvi I need to get to the hospital. Plzz lets go."
Prithvi, doesn't ask her any questions they get in the car and reach the hospital, as they rush inside Prithvi cant resist. "What happened Kripa? who is in there? Is everyone ok?"
"Everyone is fine, just Priya isn't, she has never been fine."
"Priya??" Prithvi says now thoroughly confused
