Chapter 15

Recap: Kripa sees something and looks at angad raising her eyebrows.

Kripa looking around at the four walls: Angad what is all this.

Angad: What??

Kripa: On the walls

Angad: oh just posters of good looking girls

Kripa: good looking!!! They are not even wearing any clothes. God ur so sick angad.

Angad: u must have pictures of guys on ur walls too what's so sick about it

Kripa: Actually I don't and u shouldn't either not at least as long as I m here, I cant work in this kind of environment. Inko dekh ker mujhe sharam ati hai.

Angad: Ya well this my room and I can decorate it anyway I like.

Kripa: ok fine u don't want to take them off then don't but I m leaving. And when Naina aunty asks why I left so quick it will be ur responsibility to answer her. She turns around to go out of the room.

Angad mumbling to himself: I hate girls so much. He goes and takes off the posters.

Kripa: Good boy

Angad glares at her angrily. Kripa ignores him and goes and sits on the bed, So now that that's settled lets get started. Kripa and Angad practice for about two hours. With Angad playing his guitar and Kripa writing down the words of the song they were forming. They worked quite well together especially when they were not fighting. After practicing continuously for 2 hours Kripa was very tired and even having difficulty speaking.

Angad noticed this, I think we should take a break for today, we did enough practicing, already. Kripa is relieved because she did not have any more strength left to do anything.

Angad: I ll be right back, he takes off his guitar and goes out of the room. He comes back after a while with some refreshments and finds Kripa sleeping peacefully on his bed. He goes closer to her and smiles looking at her.

Angad to himself: I don't know why I like u Kripa as I get to know u more and more I feel more and more attracted towards u. I hate u so much u always make me do things I don't want to, but whatever u say makes me smile. I have known u for few days but it seems as though I know u for ages. Angad removes the strands of hair from her face his hand brushing past her cheek. This was enough to break her sleep.

Kripa wakes up and kind of freaks out seeing Angad so close, Oh er.. sorry. She is going red from embarrassment. She abruptly gets up off the bed, I just dozed off for a little while.

Angad who had been staring at her feels a bit embarrassed and looks away: that's ok I just got some refreshments. Kripa does not hear him she looks at her watch, ok god I gotta get home, sorry Angad, we can finish our project some other time. thanks for everything, she smiles and heads towards the door.

Angad in an attempt to stop her: you are leaving so soon, its only 6.

Kripa: Ya I just remembered something important that I need to do, bye.

Angad does not answer back he was disappointed that Kripa was leaving and so soon. He was hoping that they would have a romantic dinner together but all they had done was work, work and work and now she was leaving which according to him was a total waste of an evening. But what Kripa said was also true it was not just an excuse to get out of an awkward situation, she did have important things to do. One was to go home and check her e-mail and the second to call Anjali and convince her to come to India ASAP. This had been on her mind ever since she had seen Anjali's photograph in Kavya's book. Little did she know that the Sahil she was going to for advice was the same Angad that she had left behind. Kripa hurries home and opens her email which like always contains a message from Sahil.

After Kripa after finishes reading the email she get up off the computer goes grabs the phone, goes in front of the mirror and practices for a while, after she is sure that her acting can fool even Anjali she dials her number. She catches Anjali just as she is about to leave for office.

Anjali: Hello

Kripa in a worried voice: Di, please come home quick.

Anjali who was smiling on hearing Kripa's voice now has a worried expression on her face, Kripa, what happened why are u so worried.

Kripa: Just come here di and we ll tell u everything.

Anjali: No Kripa I need to know, tell me.

Kripa: Anju wo… mama ko heart attack…she gives a fake sob as though she is crying… they have taken her to the hospital, she wants to meet u plzz di come soon.

Anjali is very stressed out now almost in tears: Kripa is she ok, don't worry I ll get the first flight available and come to India.

Kripa: She is not well, she needs all of us with her come soon. Bye di, take care.

Kripa after putting up the phone smiles to herself, wow Kripa great acting, but Anju di must be so stressed, I m sorry di I had to do this. Anjali is indeed very stressed out she calls the airport and confirms the first available flight to India which unfortunately for her is 2 days later (she would arrive in India 3 days later).

The next two days passed peacefully with Kripa going to Angad's house after school, she never stayed later than 6 she did not quite trust Angad. He was nice and did everything she liked but she was the type of guy that she was scarred to be to close to, little did she know that all that was going to change very soon. There were no major arguments between Kripa and Angad mostly because Kripa was too stressed out about her sister. She wanted to talk to Kavya but what would she say to him, she wasn't even sure there was something b/w Kavya and Anjali. She decided to wait for Anjali to get to India. Kavya was thinking the exact same thing as Kripa, he knew only Kripa could help him but he did not know how to approach her. It was getting very hard for him to restrain himself from talking to her seeing her at his house everyday. When it got too much for him to handle he decided to call her. He sneaked into Angad's room one day and got her phone number from Angad's phone book. He called her to Taj restaurant. Kripa was hesitant at first but she decided to go for the sake of her sister.
