Chapter 12

This is one of my favorite episodes I hope u guys like it as much as I do.

Scene I- Location: college entrance- timing: before college starts

Josh and angad are sitting on the stairs at the college enterance.

Josh: Angad what do u think about the project in the musical studies class.

Angad: What do u mean what I think about the project we don't even know what we have to do or who we have to work with. I am just hopping that I will get to work on it with some hottie. That way mera dil laga rahe ga.

Josh: Angad all u think about all day is girls, I don't know how u manage to get the top grades in all ur sub… je…. His eyes are transfixed in shock and surprise at the college entrance gate.

Angad: Josh! He waves his hand in front of him Josh!! Its as though he has lost all his abilities to listen or to think. Angad, wanting to see what he is so surprised at, also looks back and what he sees makes his mouth drops to the ground.

There is a girl standing at the gate, with high heels her legs covered half way till her knees with a black skirt, she is wearing a sleeveless top which is tied to her neck. She has simple pair of earring, with a simple necklace to match. Her eyes look simply splendid with make up. Her hair are tied and curled. As a whole she looks like the perfect girl any guy would dream of. Yes that girl is Kripa and she seems to be enjoying the attention she is getting.

Kripa passes Angad and Josh, she misses a step, looses her balance and trips but before she can fall to the ground angad catches her in his arms, both their eyes meet, they stay in that position for a while when Kripa gets up embarrassed "sorry". Angad's mouth is still open in surprise and he is in no condition to reply back. Kripa walks away stopping for a second and giving an evil smile.

Kripa: now he will regret what he did to me yesterday, goal accomplished for Kripa Sharma.

Angad after she leaves: Josh, I m in love.

Josh rolls his eyes: Love, not again I have seen ur kind of love Angad it changes every week. U might have been able to impress every single of the girls that u have fallen in "love" with but forget about her she is out of ur reach especially after what we did to her yesterday.

Angad: God why did we have to play the prnak on her, but Josh u know that I only try to gain things that are out of my reach, what's the point of gaining things that u know u can get. I will finally have a challenge in front of me after soo many days it should be fun.

Josh: Angad, kripa is a nice girl she is not like ur previous girlfriends for her love is everything, and don't ask me how I know because with some people u just know. U r just going to say u love her and all and after a while u will dump her. And she will take it to her heart.

Angad: u r thinking too much Josh no one takes love seriously and all that breaking heart are just matters of few days. She will forget it too. Our spring dance is in 1 month right, she will go to the dance only with me.

Josh: and what if that doesn't happen.

Angad: then I will change my name.

Josh: ok angad as u wish I tried to warn u but u did not listen to me. So u prepare for the spring dance and I will find a nice name book for u because there is no way that Kripa is going to go with u.

Angad: josh girls are crazy about me give her a week or 2 and she will be begging to go with me.

Josh: Kripa doesn't look like the type of girl that would go crazy about u, I don't know what makes me say that but she is just different.

Angad: All girls are the same josh they only look at 3 things in a guy, how someone looks, how much money they have, and how popular he is.

Just then the bell rings and Angad and Josh head to class.

Someone is listening to their conversations, "no angad khanna u will not succeed this time, and this time u will face such a defeat that u will never dare hope to win again, u have broken the hearts of many girls but not this time, this time u will have to pay, this time U will know how it feels to have heart broken.

Who hates angad and why? What is she planning to do? These questions will be answered later…. continue on with the story….

SCENE II- Location: Musical studies classroom.

Everyone is already seated and waiting for their professor Kripa is sitting next to prithvi, and angad is sitting behind her, he keeps bringing his ear closer and closer to hear their conversation.

Angad feeling jealous: I wished I had not played that prank on Kripa to us Prithvi ke jaga mein betha hota.

Prithvi: Kripa u know all the guys are staring at you.

It was true from the time Kripa had sat down, none of the guys in the class including angad had been able to take their eyes off of her.

Kripa: Ya, I know but I don't really care.

Prithvi: But I care… I mean I care because… because they might bother u and don't u feel weird.

Kripa smiles: Prithvi, I know u care about me, but I know how to deal with such guys, this not the first time that this has happened. I m just surprised that so many of the guys are staring at me. I knew people would stare at me because I look so different from yesterday but I didn't know they would stare at me as though I was like from a different species. I mean I have seen girls wear even shorter clothes than me in this college I don't think they all stare at them like that.

Prithvi smiles: If I tell u the reason why they are staring at u, u wont get mad at me will you?

Kripa thinks for a while: ok fine I wont get mad, now tell me.

Prithvi: That is because you look much hotter in those clothes then the rest of the girls do in shorter clothes.

Kripa blushes slightly, Prithvi!! And hits him on his arm.

Prithvi: Hey u said u wouldn't get mad. Angad who had been listening to Kripa and Prithvi looks at them murderously.

Just then the professor enters and the class instantly stops talking.

Professor: Ok, class I am sure all of you are excited about the knew project that we are about to start, This is going to be the last and the most fun project of the year but its going to be done differently. Before I have let you guys choose u r own partners, but this time u will work with someone u are not well acquainted with. In music you have to cooperate and work with people, that u don't know well, so I m trying to train u for such situations. I will draw names from this jar, and that is who u will work with.

The professor draws names of different people until there are only 4 names left in the jar. Kripa, Prithvi, Angad, and Josh. He draws the first name and its Kripa, then he draws the second name which reads Prithvi.

Angad: damn!!

Kripa is very happy and so is prithvi but the professor fortunately or unfortunately for Kripa, does not share their happiness.

Professor: Kripa I know that I said u will work with people I draw from this Jar but I would like that u would work with Angad instead as ur already well acquainted with prithvi. And also because both u and Angad are like the top students and if both of you work together I am sure u guys will do great on the project. I just hope its not a problem.

Kripa is very disappointed but the professor was asking so sweetly she just could not refuse, no sir I have no problem with it. Angad is as happy as Kripa is disappointed.

Professor: so that leaves Josh and Prithvi to work together. I have great expectations from all of u especially Kripa and Angad, so don't disappoint me. I want u guys to get with ur partners and work on this the rest of the class period, and be sure to exchange phone numbers and addresses. Oh god I keep forgetting everything…for this project u guys will have to compose u r own music and a dance to go with it. I have taken special permission from the principle, so u guys will be free to use the music and dance room any time. Well have fun…

How much fun this project will be only time will tell…
