Re-cap:- All getting ready for the medical camp-They leave n the Sanjeevani van. [Pragati & Mayank the new interns were coming 2m alone..as they had 2 stay bak for a difficult case.]
All four of them..Atul , Anjali , Rahul & Muskaan were sitting in the small van..Rahul was on his cell..nd Anjali was reading a book.
An hr later. Muskaan yawned.
M: "Yaar..mujhe to bada bore maar raha hai.."
A:- "Mujhe bhi.."
R:- "To? Kuch kaam karo..hamesha dono faltu behte rehte ho." Anjali giggled.
M:- "Oyye..hum tujhse to zyada kaam karte hai."
A:- "Muskaan..sahi keh rahe hai.Chalo ek kaam karte hai hum Antakshri khelte hai. Wt say guys?"
An:- "Count me out."
R:- "Me2." Both of dem said without even lifting their heads. This irritated Muskaan n Atul.
M:- "Atul..tum in dono ko chodo..hum khelte hain." She said angrily.
A:- "Haan Muskaan. " Even he said coldly.
M:- "Chalo phir main start karun?"
A:- "Ok."
M:-
"Koi hero yahan[pointing towards Atul] Koi zero yahaan[stamping Rahul's foot harshly.]Koi istaar hai.[pointing towards Atul] Koi bekaar hai.
[making a face at Rahul.]Main kaun hun tumse main kya kahun..hai sach to yeh doston..im the best..im the best..im the best.."
A:- " Yes ur the best..."
M:- "im the best..im the best..im the bestttt...Ab tujhe 't' se gaana hai." She said ignoring Rahul's anger.
A:- "Tumse milke aisa laga.. tumse milke... armaan hue poore dil ke...ae meri jaane wafa..teri meri teri ek jaan hai..Saath tere rahenge sada, tumse
na honge judaa...[sang wid a lil sadness n his voice.] Anjali luked at Atul. She luked deep n 2 his eyes..he was abt 2 cry..she luked down trying
2 avoid his gaze. There was silence.
Flash-back:-
An:- "Atul..dekho main tumse pyaar nahin karti..to kya hua? Hum ache dost to ban sakte hai na? Aur ye mera promise hai ke main khud tumhe
mujhse achi ladki dhund ke dunge.." She said with a big smile.
Atul smiled bak..but he knew it was fake. Anjali hugged him..he hugged her bak..but there was a pain in his heart which she wud never understand.
-----------------Muskaan was gonna say sumething..but she felt Rahul's hand stop her..she stopped.
SILENCE
R:- "Ae kya bolti tu?" He said 2 Anjali. Anjali was suprised..nd n a shock.
M:- "Oyye..tujhe aage ka gaana nahin aata?"
She smiled. "Arre ae..kya main bolun..."
R:- "Sun?"
An:- "Suna?"
R:- "Aati kya khandala?"
An:- "Kya karun akke main khandala..?"
R:- "Aare ghumenge phirenge nachenge gayenge aish karenge aur kya?"
Everyone laughed & clapped..Muskaan was relieved..nd smiled at Rahul. He smiled bak. They all joined n and played Antakshri till the time they reached
The sun was almost gone..waying in for darkness. It was 6.00 until they reached. The place was a lil deep..so they had 2 go there by walk, leaving their van there...the path was filled with stones..n mud..thorny plants.All 4 started walking step-by-step slowly. When suddenly Anjali screamed.
Atul was the first one 2 rush 2 her. " Anjali kya hua?" She sat down on a small stone kept there & luked at her feet. A thorn had half-eneterd her feet.
An:- "Atul..mujhe dard ho raha hai.." A drop of tear came down frm her eyes.
R & M:- "Kya hua?"
A:- "Kuch nahin...ruko main nikaal deta hun." He knelt down & caught her feet, nd slowly started 2 take out the thorn.
An:- "Nahin pls..tum chodo" She pressed his hands tightly.
Muskaan went n sat nxt 2 her & caught her hand. "Anjali kuch nahin hoga..relax." Atul slowly took out the thorn. Anjali sighed..nd wiped the sweat frm her fore-head. After waiting for 5 mins..they left. Atul offered his hand but Anjali refused.
A:- "Anjali main tumhara sabse acha dost hun na? Chalo haath do." She hesitated for sum time, but gave her hand. Both of them were leading the way while Rahul-Muskaan followed. She was constantly luking at both of them.
M:- "Hayee..kitne sone lag rahe hain..Atul ki to nikal padi..haina?
R:- "Yaa..whatever u say.." he said not really listeing.
Reaching there they met the person who handled the village. All four were supposed 2 stay in their house, which was a big house arranged & decorated with lots of love. They decided that they wud start treating people from tommorrow morning as it was a lil late at that time. The village head's wife...who was dearly called "Masiji" by every1 were 2 luk after them & make them comfortable. They had dinner..which was the village typical
food.
An:- "The food is good na?"
R:- "Ya..its ok." He was actually not bothered.
M:- "Kya hua?" He didnt listen. "Oyye....main tujhse baat kar rahe hun..kya hua ?" She whispered n his ear.
R:- "Kuch bhi to nahin. Mujhe neend aa rahe hai..main jaa raha hun..gud night." He said coldly n left, leaving Muskaan wondering..
After eating they decided 2 rest..as they had 2 get up early the nxt morning. RM were n one room..nd Atul was gonna be wid Mayank n Anjali wid Pragati.
The room was filled wid mosquitoes...the lights were also not proper...the bed was very low...nd the bed-sheet was rough.
M:- "Rahul!! Mujhe yahan nened nahin aayegi." She said angrily. He was already half-asleep. "Ek to yahan AC bhi nahin hai..main bechari AC ke bina in machron[mosquitoes](spatting away a few)ke saath nahin so sakte."
Rahul got up. "To main ek kaam karta hun..AC order kar deta hun aapke liyee.." He said in a irriated voice.
M:- "Main serious hun!"
R:- "Tumhe kya lagta hai main mazak kar raha hun??"
M:- "Mujhe pata nahin tumhe ho kya gaya hai..kabse dekh rahe hun..theek se baat nahin kar rahe ho..aur choti-choti baaton main gussa aa raha hai..tumhare tabiyat to theek hai na?"
R:- "Main theek hun..tumhe jo karna hai tum karo..par pls mujhe pareshan mat karo."
M:- "Theeke..to main jaa rahe hun..Anjali ke paas..mujhe pata hai usse bhi aise jagaon pe nened nahin aate." She thought.
She left the room..nd went 2 Anjali's room. She was suprised 2 see Anjali sleeping..
M:- "Ye so gaye?" She went close 2 her coz she heard sum whispering.
"Mujhe kuch samajh nahin aa raha..main kya karun? Kya mujhe usse sach main pyaar ho gaya hai?" and the voice faded....
Muskaan ran out of the room n happiness..So finally Anjali..confessed..FINALLY!! She cudnt wait 2 tell Atul..she was running towards his room..wid full excitement n joy...but he had slept off! "Chado!" Her excitement dropped. Nw AA were sleeping..Rahul was sleeping..she didnt knw what do.
She jus decided 2 stroll out sumtime. Taking slow n silent steps..she jus walked around..seeing a few trees..nd lots of sharp stones..She walked carefully..getting bored n less than 10 mins , she decided 2 go bak2 the room..as compartivley..n d room there were less mosquitoes than here.
While she was going bak , she saw a light coming frm sumwhere. She went closer 2 find a small beautiful temple..it was decorated lavishly..the light n the lamp was beginning 2 fade..she decided 2 lite it again. She removed her slippers..nd went inside...lit the lamp..said a silent prayer..nd came out. While coming out she set her foot on a sharp stone. Her feet started 2 bleed.
"Haiyyo Rabba!! Ye kya pehle Anjali ko lagi..aur phir mujhe..aur kal Atul ko aur phir..Rah..nahin nahin..ye to jagah hi aise hai..Ab main kya karun?"
She started 2 walk on her toes..she cudnt..blood drops started 2 drop on the stony ground. She again sat down on a small stone seat. "Rahul ko main kaise bulan.." She thought that it wudnt pain..but her feet really hurt..she was jus controlling her tears..When she suddenly saw the shadow of a person..She prayed it wud be Rahul..nd it was him..
R:- "Muskaan! Tum sach main aagaye..paagal ho gaye ho kya? Akele woh bhi naye jagah par...god ur the limits!"
M:- "Rahul..mujhe lag gaye.." He saw her feet bleeding.
R:- "Maine tumse kitni baar kaha hai..yahan par apne joote mat utaro..par tum to kabhi mere baat suno hi mat! Ab chalo. " He caught her hand.
Muskaan didnt say anything..She was in a lot of pain to say anything. "Main chal nahin sakte." Rahul got irritated.
R:- "Muskaan!" Silence. "Utho." She slowly got up..but again sat down. He jus went 2 the other side and carried her wid a jerk. She put her arms around him. She saw dat still his face was filled wid anger. She didnt understand why..Had she dun anything? No..but y was he so rude?!
She didnt hav the energy 2 argue with him..but she was def. gonna find outt.
In the room he put her on the bed..handed her the first-aid box..nd slept off..Shutting his eyes tight...trying 2 control his tension..
Muskaan was shocked! He had never EVER been so rude! Her pain started increasing..nw she cudnt control her tears anymore..throwing the first-aid box in a corner..she lied down..crying..
Rahul heard the sound of her crying..
R:- "Oh! no." he said 2 himself. Nw he had blasted Muskaan for no reason! He cursed himself. he got up seeing her lie down..the first-aid box thrown in the corner. he picked up the box..nd sat nxt 2 Muskaan. He slowly started cleaning the wound.
M:- "Tum chodo..main theek hun." He didnt listen. He cleaned the wound..applied an antiseptic..nd tied it with a white bandage.
R:- "Woh actually..." She waited fr him 2 continue.
PS:- Pragz..See I kept my promise..added u..I really pray that I caninclude u more..fr nw..be satisfied wid Mayank!
