Happy diwali to one and all!!!

 

Part Eleven

 

As the morning sun dawned on, both Raj and Naina were uncertain about the day,

 

It had been11 months since they had first met eachother, if anyone at that time had told them that in 11months time they  would be so much in love that they would be willing to do any things for the other person then they would have called that person mad, but it was true, 11months to the day they had met another Lakme Fashion week in the waiting and here they were, dining in Raj's house celebrating their union.

 

Rajveer and Naina were both silent about the thoughts flowing through their minds about eachother, In the past few weeks ever since Raj was back from Paris they were even more drawn to eachother than before, they probably felt the need to take that extra step in their relationship that was left, but each one was scared of what the other felt, of what the other thought, and so Naina started the conversation while the 2  of them were silently dining at Raj's dining table.

 

"Why are you so silent tonight?"

 

"umm, huh, well just been thinking something"

 

"Can I ask you what that something is"

 

"Yeah you can"

 

"So what is it that has occupied  your thoughts Rajveer ??"

 

"There is something, but I cant tell you what it is"

 

"Rajveeeeeerrrr, I asked before this if I could ask you the question"

 

"Yea I know, I gave you permission to ask but didn't guarantee you that I would answer"

 

"Raaaaaaaaj"

 

And she removed her frustration by aiming a napkin at him, this is what he always did, made fun of her and pulled her legs, but that way he always kept her in splits,

Naina was sitting on the sofa when suddenly she heard some slow romantic music playing before she could even locate the source of the music a hand  extended towards her,

"May I have the pleasure of dancing with one of the most beautiful girl I know"

 

"One of the most, so that means I am not the most beautiful, now go"

 

"What to do sweetie, I find Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka chopra, and many other beautiful too"

 

Naina just looked at him and seeing the cuteness in his face she started laughing,

"You are a charmer, I am sure you know that"

 

"Yeah I know that, but Naina right now if we just keep chatting over here the song will get over, and it is my favorite song"

 

And so he soon twirled her around and took her to a little empty space in the sitting room and started dancing with her, it wasn't actually a dance it was more of romance, they just hugged eachother and danced hapy to be with eachother, Raj was just bending down to kiss her when suddenly his cell phone started ringing. Naina said,

 

"Better luck next time"

And winked at him

He just gave her a smile that melted her insides and he moved away towards his cell phone. During that time she realized that it was raining and went out into his small balcony letting the droplets hit her body, she was just enjoying the feeling and did not realize when raj had finished his call and was watchin her resting on the door, it had been ages since she had got wet like this, in sucha a carefree manner, when she looked in the sirection of the door she saw his looking at him and the look he gave her was too much for her to take, she knew if he kept giving her looks like that then she would loose all self control, but some where deep down she realized that probably this is what she wanted, but being as confusd as ever she just moved away from the balcony into his bedroom and took his towel to wipe her head

Rajveer on the other hand was having an equally difficult time resisting her, she looked extra desirable this eveing, but somehow he wanted her to take the first step, after all they were in a relationship and that time copuld come at any time, however stillhis heart ached for her, and when he saw her getting wet he just couldn't  hold himself back, and when she walked towards his bedroom she couldn't help but followed her,

There she was drying her hair with his  towel whn she saw his coming she said

 

"I think I should be going right now Raj, its late"

 

But just at that moment Raj came and hugged her from the back and asked her something

 

"Do you really want to go back tonight??"

 

Naina looked at Raj and shook her head in the negative, and that was enough to encourage Raj, he carried her to the bed and the two of them entered a different world where it was just them and their love, that was probably the best night that the 2 of them had ever had, and they were happy to be with eachother.

 

Naina was the first to wake up he next morning, at first she was puzzled at her surrounding but soon realized where she was and that automatically brought a smile to her face, she reached out for her clothes which were on one side of the bed and dressed up, she freshened up and went towards his kitchen to make him some tea, after it was ready she took it to him in the bedroom and smiled seeing him sleeping like this, this morning was so ideal and so lovely and she hoped to do this everyday every morning

"Wake up sleepyhead, it is 10.30am"

 

Raj woke up and looked at her and smiled

 

"Good morning jaan"

 

And he pulled her towards him and kissed her on her forehead and hugged her

 

"Naina, I hope I didn't force you"

 

 

 

Rajveer and Naina often spent nights together after that one particular night, but Raj had another thought and he had to voice it to her and so he told her one day about 3 weeks after that night

 

"Naina I was thinking why don't we shift in together"

 

Naina looked at him intently

"You mean a live –in"

 

"Yes that's what I mean"

 

"But where do we go, I mean my house is too small for me itself, and your house it will not be enough"

 

"You dont worry about that naina, I just needed your consent, if you don't mind tolerating me then ill find  a way"

 

"Offcourse I want to live with you too Raj"

And they both hugged eachother

Within 2 days Raj had arranged everything, he had found a place which he was getting at one fifth of its original price since it was a stressed sale, he just had to call naina and she agreed at once, it was in the same locality facing the mighty Arabian sea and she loved it.
