Chapter 36

Previously

 

Angad and Kripa stay as they are in each others arm imagining their own world where only the two of them reside, neither wants to open their eyes in fear that the world will be lost, but both get disturbed as masses of applause and hooting rings through the hall, Angad opens his eyes first and smiles, Kripa opens her and notices everyone and blshes, she tries to step away from Angad but he pulls her back and hugs her, Kripa hugs him back only to hear more hooting and applause.

 

 

Angad and the guys are standing in one corner talking while Kripa and the rest of the family are somewhere else.

 

L - guys, I'm bored

A - you're always bored, and shut up, you can't be bored at my engagement

L - but I still am

A - shut up

S - enough you two, and Angad you're engaged to be married and you're fighting like a kid with Lakshya

 

Lakshya sniggers but gets hit by Kavya

 

Ka - you need to grow up to, soon you'll be engaged to be married 

L - well, I know you guys like to ruin your lives but not me

 

Lakshya grins but gets hit again, this time by all three, Lakshya frowns and holds his arms

 

L - I'm telling mum, you guys are ganging up on me

A - what are you? 5? telling mum on us

S - no ones telling mum anything, but Lakshya is right, this party needs livening up

A - how do you plan on doing that?

Ka - we don't need to, we want entertainment, and entertainment just walked right through the door

A - what? how?

 

Kavya points to the door, the guys look and smile, standing at the door in a guy of 6,2'', with short dark brown hair wearing shades, a leather jacket with ripped jeans. He scans the hall and spots the guys in the corner, he waves and walks towards them, Lakshya comes forward and hugs him first

 

L - hey how you doing Josh?

 

Josh smiles and hugs the rest of them

 

J - I'm great

A - where's your mum and dad?

J - somewhere, as usual they left without me and are probably lost somewhere

Ka - shall we call them?

J - nah nah, they'll find their way here. so what are you guys doing huddled in the corner? scared of your better halves?

S - no, nothing like that, we're just bored

J - well, I'll take care of that, but first, let me meet my bhabhis, lead the way

 

Sujal leads Josh to Kashish

 

S - Kashish, this is my cousin Josh, and Josh this is my wife Kashish

 

Sujal then takes him to Anjali and then Kripa, then finally heads to an empty table with the rest of them

 

J - so shall we have some fun?

A - wait, what do you have in mind?

J - chill Angad, wait here guys

 

Josh gets up, the guys look at each other and shrug their shoulders, Josh comes back with an empty bottle in his hand and a pack of cards in the other, he sits down opposite Angad and puts both bottle and cards on the table

 

J - ok so, you either have the hoice of truth or dare, spin the bottle, or poker?

L - spin the bottle

S - yeah that will be cool

J - ok, spin the bottle....Josh style.

 

Josh puts the card away

 

J - I'm sure you guys know the rules by now but for clarification, if the top end of the bottle lands in front of you, you have to do exactly what the person sitting opposite you says, and if you refuse then....you will be punished, you guys ready?

 

The guys nod their heads in agreement, Angad looks over to his parents and Kripa then back at the guys and nods his head in agreement, Josh grins and spins the bottle, it lands on Lakshya, and sitting opposite him is Kavya

 

L - come on bhai, give me what you got

 

Kavya smiles and glances around the room

 

Ka - ok, you see that girl over there, in the blue salwar kameez

 

Kavya points, Lakshya and the others look

 

L - yeah

Ka - you have to go to her and talk to her and make her say "I love you"

L - are you crazy?

J - you have to do it

L - fine

 

Lahsya pushes the chair out and heads towards the girl, the guys follow him slowly and stand a little further away so they can hear the coversation, Lakshya taps the girl on her shoulder, she turns around (Mouni Roy)

 

L - Priya....

 

The girl looks at him weirdly

 

?? - I'm not Priya, I'm Krishna-Tulsi

L - no you are my Priya

 

The guys look at each other and continue to listen

 

KT - you have made a mistake

L - how can some in love make a mistake.....your face....your eyes, they are the same as my Priya

KT - but I am not your Priya!

L - yes you are....look if you don't say you are my Priya and that you still love me, I will...I will kill myself right here

 

Lakshya glances at the guys and smiles, he looks back at KT who looks worried

 

KT - please leave me alone

L - no first tell me you love me Priya

KT - go away

L - fine

 

Lakshya picks up a bottle and is about to smash it on his hand when KT holds his hand

 

KT - what are you doing?

L - if you don't say it, I'll kill myself I swear

 

Lakshya goes to hit his hand again but KT stops him

 

KT - ok ok I'm your Priya and I love you now don't do anything stupid

L - thanks

 

Lakshya gives her a peck on her cheek and goes back to the table, the guys look at each other trying not to laugh and quickly go back to the table, sitting in the seats as before.

 

A - wow bro, what acting

L - I know, I'm a genius

Ka - you really scared her

L - ok so who's turn is it next

 

Josh spins the bottle and it lands on Kavya, who shakes his head, sitting opposite him is Lakshya

 

Ka - please don't make it stupid

L - payback bhai.....ok, you know Anjali bhabhi's friend, Pammi, you have to flirt with her in front of bhabhi

Ka - are you mad? Anjali will kill me

L - come on bhai, you're not scared of bhabhi are you?

 

Angad and Lakshya make stupid noises, Kavya stands up

 

Ka - fine I'm going

 

Angad and Lakshya smile and follow him and stand by Anjali, Kavya comes to Pami and smiles

 

Ka - hi Pammi, how are you?

P - I'm great Kavya, you?

Ka - great....wow Pammi, you look beautiful

 

Kavya glances at Anjali and from her face he knows she heard, Angad and Lakshya are trying their best not to laugh, Kavya takes Pammi's hand slowly

 

Ka - I mean really...this saree looks wow

P - aww thanks Kavya

Ka - its my pleasure

 

Anjali folds her arms and looks at Kavya angrily, Kavya pretends not to notice and slips his arm around Pammi's waist, Anjali gasps, while Lakshya and Angad begin to snigger

 

Ka - you know Pammi, if I met you before Anjali then I would have married you

P - oh really? what would Anjali say if she heard you?

Ka - what can Anjali say?

P - you're not scared of her

Ka - no way

P - oh really?

Ka - yes really

 

Pammi smiles and points behind him, Kavya turns around slowly to find Anjali standing there with her hands on her hips, behind them Angad and Lakshya are awaiting the scene Anjali causes, Kavya looks at Anjali and frowns

 

Ka - A....A...Anjali...

An - what were you saying? if you met her you would have married her?!

Ka - no..no...I was just...being polite

A - so you be this polite to every girl you meet huh!

 

Behind Anjali, Angad and Lakshya are now laughing while holding their stomachs seeing Kavya's scared expression

 

Ka - no...no...nothing like that...

An - if you like her so much, why don't you marry her!

Ka - no Anali...I was just...it was just....you know I love you

An - love me? is that why you were flirting with Pammi?

Ka - no...Anjali just listen

 

Anjali huffs and walks off, Kavya runs after to explain while Angad and Lakshya run back to the table laughing and tell Sujal and Josh what happened, who also start laughing when they hear. Kavya comes back to hear masses of laughter coming from the guys, he sits at the table and glares at Lakshya, the guys stop laughing trying their bests not to start again

 

L - so bruv (laughs) I thought you weren't scared of bhabhi

 

The guys burst out laughing again, Josh pat's Kavya's back

 

J - I never knew (laughs) my cousin...was so..whipped

 

They continue laughing until Kavya gets angry

 

Ka - thats it just keep laughing you morons, do you know how angry Anjali is, my marriage could be ruined from your little dare

A - chill bhaiya, we'll talk to bhabhi....we'll tell her we were behind it all

S - yeah what's the worst she can do to us....shout at us....don't worry Kavya, breathe peacefully, your Anjali won't go anywhere, relax bro....but Josh is right...you're whipped

 

The guys laugh again while Kavya sits there with a sulken face. Josh grabs the bottle and spins it again, he stops it when Kripa comes and sits next to Angad

 

K - what you guys doing?

A - erm .....nothing...just sitting here...talking

K - Angad, I can tell from your face you're doing something else

 

Kripa notices the bottle and smiles

 

K - playing spin the bottle hey

L - yeah...want to play?

 

Sujal and Angad smack Lakshya's arm, he holds it and frowns

 

A - Kripa, why don't you go over to Kashish bhabhi and Anjali bhabhi

K - no, I want to play....please Angad.....

 

Kripa looks at Angad and flutters her eyelashes, Angad grins

 

A - ok

 

Josh groans

 

J - Kavya isn't the only one that's whipped

 

Angad glares at him then explains the rules to Kripa, she smiles and nods her head in agreement, Josh spins the bottle and it lands on Sujal. Sitting opposite Sujal is Kripa.

hope this part wasn't too crap, took me ages to figure out how to make it funny, if its not then aah well...dunno when I'll post the next part, maybe on the weekend
