Prithvi hangs up and smiles at Kripa

 

P - happy

K - good

 

Kripa leaves the room and takes her things to her room upstairs while Prithvi smiles to himself

 

P (thinks) - I won, Angad....Kripa was and always will be mine

 

Lakshya informs the rest of the family that Kripa had left

 

N - what? without telling us?

L - yeah mom, she said she's sorry but she's made her decision to marry Prithvi in order for Sujal bhaiya to get free

Kas - this is insane! what does Kripa think of herself? she comes into Angad's life, makes him fall in love with her and promises to be with him but then makes the decision to leave him without even asking him?

An - didn't once think how Angad would feel

A - enough....

 

Kashish and Anjali look towards the door to find Angad standing there

 

A - don't bad mouth Kripa when she's not here to defend herself and Kashish bhabhi....you should be greateful, Kripa is doing this to get Sujal bhaiya free. She's sacrificing her love for yours bhabhi, so please.....

N - Angad son, but what about you?

A - what about me mom? I'll live without her like I did before I met her.....yeah its true I love her and I always will but I'll spend my life with her memories, thats enough for me, now I'll appreciate it if no one says anything bad about Kripa, she was and always will remain a part of our family

 

Angad walks out before anyone has a chance to speak, he goes upstairs to his room and shuts the door, he leans against it and slides down to the floor burying his head in his hands while his elbows rest on his knees

 

A (thinks) - I've made everyone else understand not to blame Kripa, not to bad mouth her, but how can I make this heart understand? how can I tell my heart not to remember it loves someone, to carry on with life as normal, to live without her.....live without her? how can I live without you Kripa.....why did this happen, why did we meet if only to be seperated, why did we fall in love if we were never meant to be together....why!

 

Angad closes his eyes and lets the tears fall, Zindagi from The Train plays in the background

Angad is standing in the shower letting the water run on him

Angad has flashbacks of meeting Kripa and all the good times he spent with her then leaving him

Lakshya and Kavya watch from the door as Angad sits on his bed with his eyes closed thinking of Kripa

Angad is in his car driving around aimlessly

On the other side Kripa is sitting in her room while her family organise engagement details

Angad and Kripa both think about each other

Angad sitting in his room with the light off

Kripa watches as Prithvi selects his engagement and wedding outfits

Angad and Kripa both depressed sitting in their rooms lost in each others thoughts

At the police station Sujal is sitting in his cell thinking about Kashish and how they had just got married when the police constable comes

 

Po - you're free to go

S - what?

Po - Mr Prithvi Bose took his case back so you're free

 

Sujal gets up and leaves the cell, he signs some papers then leave the police station

 

S (thinks) - how can he just take the case back...something must be wrong....

 

Sujal calls Kavya and tells him to pick him up, Kavya comes and Sujal sits in the car

 

Ka - glad to see you bhaiya

S - yeah,, so the guy says Prithvi took the case back

Ka - yeah....

S - why?

Ka - oh I postponed the date on our honeymoon tickets we're leaving next week

S - Kavya, answer me, why did Prithvi take the case back?

Ka - bhaiya....we can talk about this when we get home

S - stop the car

Ka - what?

S - stop the car, now

 

Kavya pulls over, Kavya looks at Sujal

 

Ka - what is it?

S - what's happened at home?

Ka - bhaiya we can....

S - KAVYA!

 

Kavya jumps

 

Ka - ok....when Kripa found out you were arrested she went to see Prithvi

S - and you guys let her?

Ka - we didn't know until after, anyways so she went and asked him why he had you sent to jail and basically...

 

Kavya turns his face away from Sujal

 

Ka - he told Kripa that if she wants you to get out of jail she has to marry him....and Kripa agreed

S - what! what about Angad?

Ka - he's accepted it, in fact he's told all of us not to get her

S - he's told you guys but not me, go....

Ka - home?

S - no to Kripa's now

 

Kavya reluctantly listens and drives to Kripa's house, Sujal gets out and rings the doorbell, Prithvi answers

 

P - hmm nice to see you out of jail

S - where's Kripa?

P - she's upstairs, selecting her wedding dress with aunty

 

Sujal pushes Prithvi out of the way and goes upstairs, he looks into the rooms and finds them empty, he sees a room whose door is closed, he barges into the room, Kripa and Gayatri get shocked seeing him there

 

K - Sujal...

S - get your things, now

K - but..

S - I'm not hearing no for an answer Kripa, get your things, you're coming home

 

Sujal turns around to leave

 

K - I am home....

 

Sujal faces her

 

S - Kripa....

K - mom can you leave us alone

 

Gayatri nods her head and leaves the room, Kripa makes Sujal sit down the sits by him

 

K - I love everyone in your family

S - its your family too

K - I know, which is why I have decided this, in order to keep my family happy I need to do this. I'm happy to see you out of prison and so will Kashish Di and everyone else

S - but...

K - Sujal, I want you to live your life happily with Kashish Di

S - Kripa, you think I'll be happy living my life knowing you're ruining yours? knowing i'm the reason you've split from Angad and are being forced to marry Prithvi

 

Kripa holds his hand

 

K - if you ever thought of me as family then you will let me stick with my decision, please don't make me weak

 

Sujal smiles and puts his hand on her head

 

S - I never knew you were this strong Kripa, especially after everything you have faced, ok, I won't make you weak, I won't ask you to come back, but I can ask something from you....

K - yes...

S - don't forget us....and make sure you come see us

K - of course

 

Kripa looks up to see Prithvi

 

P - hmm we'll see Sujal...I was thinking after marriage me and Kripa will go to America, but maybe...once in a year

K - Prithvi!

P - ok ok...once a month....I'll let Kripa visit you

S - there's no need for you to do any favours on her or us

 

Sujal glares at Prithvi, then hugs Kripa

 

S - take care of yourself

K - you too

 

Kripa hugs him back and whispers in his ear

 

K - ...and of Angad...

 

Sujal pulls away and leaves before he got emotional. Sujal gets into the car and Kavya drives them home. Kashish gets happy seeing Sujal and hugs him, Sujal kisses her forehead and hugs Naina

 

S - mom...where's Angad?

N - he's in his room

S - ok

 

Sujal gives his dad a hug then goes upstairs to see Angad. He opens Angad's door and finds him standing by the window staring outside

 

S - Angad....

 

Angad turns around and smiles, he comes and hugs Sujal

 

A - glad you're free bhaiya

S - are you ok?

 

Angad turns his face away

 

A - yeah bhaiya I'm fine....perfect...neevr better

S - since when did you learn to lie to me?

 

Sujal turns Angad around and sees the tears in his eyes and hugs him, Angad cries on his brothers shoulder

 

S - I saw Kripa....

A - ....why?

S - to ask her to come back but ...

A - she won't....I know her that much at least....was she ok?

S - if ok means plastering a smile on her face, then yeah she was ok...I did however get her to agree to visit us

A - bhaiya....

S - you don't have to be here when she visits....but we'd like to see her

A - of course

S - Angad....

A - yeah?

S - are you seriously going to give up on you and her?

A - what do you mean?

S - I always thought since you loved Kripa so much, you would fight anything and everything to make her yours, I'm surprised you've given up and let her go....

 

Angad stands there as Sujal leaves him to think about what he just said
