So I am backwith the Update as I promised.

AND THIS ONE ISLIKE A DHAMAKA UPDATE LIKE REALLY LIKE A MAHA – UPDATE BECAUSE ITS LIKE THELONGEST UPDATE I HAVE EVER WRITTEN FOR THIS FF – 16K WORDS.

I shall give another Update tomorrow..Ok Guys Iknow I am going on like writing Non Stop- because in my head its like I need toget this story to a particular point before I go on my little vacation on 7thMarch. So pleaseeee excuseeee my crazy writing spree Rant.

This FF is like super close to my heart so it’slike when I start writing – my fingers just keep flowing on the keypad.

CHAPTER 29 –THE 'MAGICAL' CHRONICLES OF THE OCEANS MIX 

KHUSHI’S POV

Is this guy crazy orwhat??????

And out of all thedays, he wants to take my case on My Bday!!!!!

Fineeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

I know why he’sasking me to go up to the Roof – he’s going to ask me to sit on the daybed andtalk to him and he is going to be all Shameless as he reminds me off how hekissed me there – the last time we were there – as we confessed our love toeach other.

WAIT.

I quickly change frommy tank top and shorts into a Mustard Colour Tube Top and my Black  Capri’s Jeggings,and I tie my Hair up in aHigh Pony tail.

And I look at myreflection in the Mirror.

He Loves Mustard OnMe.

And He also Lovesanything Off Shoulder or Like a Tubed Top Over me because of his fascinationwith my shoulder blades and neckline(I still don’t understand what fascinateshim so much though – its just pretty normal ).Anyway since he has mentioned anddemonstrated the same to me many times by unleashing his sweet torturous kissesall over in those areas – so I was going to trouble him a little Too.

I smile to myself asI make my out of my room.

And My phone beeps.

Him : ok sunshine,I understand.but still its your bday.Make A wish..atleast one?please?deceidequick and text me, once you do only then will I get on a video call.

OHOOO! THIS HOODIEGUY NAA..WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM TODAY???

I quickly typehonestly : hawwwwwwwwwww!!! First you make me get on the terrace at this timeof the hour and then you around troubling me on my very own birthday…what yahoodie guy..ok fine..if I were to wish for one thing right now – id wish for abloody teleportal to open in between of us even if its for just one minute orno..not one minute –I will be little greedy on that maybe ten minutes atleast –and then I would want you to come through that teleportal like Magic and holdme close into You and Kiss me goodnight – before my bday ends in my time!Okthat’s what my wish is.

AND I NOW RUSH MYWAY UP.

IT WAS ALREADY 1120ishand I wanted to get on a video call with him really bad, as I hadn’t seen himall day today.

I quickly step up tothe roof and just as I get on the landing – I just stand there and close myeyes for a couple of seconds and I enjoy the breeze a little as it plays withmy hair and I love the feel of the fresh air on my face right now.

And right then myphone beeps.

Its him of- course.

Him : Sunshine,why would you wish for a teleportal in between of us just for ten minutes yaa!

I smile to myselfas I get an idea – I want to go to the roof top ledge and talk to him and so Iquickly reply.

Her : I told youim not going to be very greedy ok? Acha wait now that I am up the roof already,I feel like I want to get on the ledge up to talk to you.give me a minute – Iwill call you from the ledges top, just starting to get on the ladder.

I tuck my phonesafely in my capris pockets and I start to get on the ladder and I can’t stopsmiling to myself as I climb the steps.

 And just as I am about to take a fourth one, Ihear a familiar deep voice behind me – “ Your wish is my command Sunshine, butlooks like iv managed to keep this bloody teleportal open for a good 21 hours…”

I FEEL MY INSIDES FREEZE– LIKE HOW WATER FREEZES TO ICE IN A MOMENT IN TIME.

YES - LIKE THAT.

AND I HAVE STARTED TOSHIVER AND TREMBLE IN REAL TIME.

EVEN THOUGH I AM IN ADREAM RIGHT HOW.

THIS FEELS SOFREAKING REAL.

I AM STILL FROZEN TOICE.

I AM MAD.

I AM OFFCIALY MAD.

Right then I feel atug on my waist as I feel myself being pulled back close into Him,and afamiliar whisper in my ears– “ Happy B’Day Sunshine”

AND NOW I FEEL THEFAMILIAR WARMTH AND TOUCH OF THE HAND TURNING ME AROUND AND I FEEL LIKE I AMFROZEN TO A CAGED STATUE,AND THE ARM COMES AROUND MY WAIST AGAIN AND MYTREMBLING STARTS AGAIN.

THIS IS UNREAL.

THIS FEELS REAL THOUGH.

And right then I feelgoosebumps take over my body as I feel that familiar whisper into my earsagain- “ open your eyes Sunshine..”

And I finallyinstruct my voice box to start functioning as I say through my trembling voice– “ no..no..because..thi..thi..this is..a..a..dre..a..m..and if I open my eyesI will be back to reality…Arnav..”

I hear a Chuckle now.

God.

I am Mad.

Oh Shit.

I am being pulled incloser into him again and my hands in reflex now clutch on to these arms in myDream and I hear another whisper in my ears –  “And so about that last part of thewish..about how you want me to kiss you goodnight before your b’day ends inyour time…”

I tremble and Shiver.

I AM NOW BEING PICKEDUP BY THIS HOLD ON MY WAIST AGAIN AND I FEEL MY FEET BEING PLANTED ON TO THEROOF FLOOR.

He smiles now and hiseyes are mirroring all the same emotions as mine and he leans closer as he nowwhispers against my lips, not even leaving my eyes for a second, he is sofreaking close that our breaths are now mingling into one another –  “yes I am here..for real..just in time beforeyour b’day finishes in your time..this morning when I called you Sunshine I wasboarding for Cape town from Dubai my love and yesterday when we last video called,I finished windIng up just after and rushed to the airport to get on theplane...luckily I had a little heads up on time due to Auckland being 11 hoursahead in time..and I knew I would reach Cape town by 1030 your time..”

THEY HAD WON THE T20SERIES ANYWAY AND THE MATCH WAS A WASHOUT – THAT’S ALL UPDATE I HAD SEEN ONCRICBUZZ AND BECAUSE HE HAD TOLD ME HE WOULD BE BUSY I DIDN’T LOOK IN FURTHER,BECAUSE IF I WOULD HAVE LOOKED INTO THE LIST OF PLAYING 11 ANYWAY – I WOULDN’THAVE SEEN HIS NAME THERE FOR SURE.

GODDAMIT.

I AM FREAKING DEADWITH ALL THIS EMOTION IN MY BEING RIGHT NOW.

I just close my eyes again and I now rest my forehead on hisas I whisper – “ I love you Arnav…”

I hear his emotionalvoice come through – “ I love you Khushi..open your eyes please..look intomine..i want to see every emotion that is swimming through them right now..”

I finally open myeyes, dazed and shaken to meet his in an super intense eye lock and I feel himcup my face tenderly and his thumbs is brushing over my lips, his lips almoston mine - “ Happy B’Day Sunshine…and now if you don’t mind, id like to kiss youlike a mad man because that’s what my emotions are guiding me too and I amgoing to kiss you hard and not stop for a long long time…”,and he freaking knowsI am speechless and he whispers grinning mischievously against my lips – “ Iknow you are speechless love, you can just nod like you always do, and I shallswitch on my carnage mode..”,and I am sure my eyes now swim with a lot of loveand emotion as I starts to nod and just as I am half way through (just like I had nodded half way through the very firsttime he kissed me) – I feel his lips finally take over mine.

And he kisses me Hardas our lips fuse together in a ravishing kiss and I can feel every emotion heis pouring into it, and I can also sense a lot of longing into it and I startto respond to him now as passionately as I pour in all my love and longing toointo this kiss in between of us and I try to voice everything I am feelingwithin into this kiss  and just as I wrapmy hands around his neck tightly I feel him pick me up a little by the waist ashe makes me sit on the ladder step so that the ladder supports me and he standsclose into me and his hands are around my waist again as he now picks up one ofmy legs and tucks it to his waist – so that he can lean in closer into me, andIt does feel more intense and close and comfortable so I pull him closer intome as I continue to kiss him madly too and I adjust my other leg on the side ofhis other waist on reflex – and I feel like I am going to melt right here inhis arms.

This is so freakingintense after all this time in between of us – for our emotions for each otherhave only heightened to another level.

HE IS RAVAGING MYLIPS.

I AM NOT COMPLAINING.

I WANT HIM TOO.

I WANT HIM TO KISS MELIKE THIS.

And so we justcontinue to kiss each other madly, deeply, passionately ,taking as much ofbreathe as we can from each others lips and haggered breathes in between – inorder to keep going in these intense duel in between our lips – for neither ofus wants to break away.

And so I continue tokiss him madly and he continues to kiss me madly and I now wrap my legs aroundhis waist in reflex and that makes him come closer into me and I tighten myarms around his neck as I continue to kiss him madly.

Many Many heatedminutes later, I feel like I really need to breathe now , for my lungs willrevolt now and give up on me for the lack of oxygen supply, and I stop by now takinghis lower lip into a single lip kiss and then I finally take a break fromkissing him like a mad girl, and keep my forehead over his as I continue tohold him close into me for support and my breathings all heavy and haggered.

DAMM HIM.

AND I CANT OPEN MYEYES RIGHT NOW.

BUT I CONTINUE TOSHIVER AND TREMBLE IN HIS ARMS.

And I feel himtighten his arms around my waist and I think he is also looking at me intentlyall over my face because I can feel it – I mean ever though my eyes are notopen – I can feel it.

ACHA – MAYBE – CERTIFYME MAD ALREADY!

I hear his chuckle ashe says, leaning in dangerously close to my lips again – “ Sunshine…you do knowI can understand every display of emotion on your face right???????”

I nod franticallywith my eyes closed.

He chuckles again andhis one hand now caresses the right side of my Neckline.

I shiver.

I TREMBLE.

And he’s now leaningin dangerously close over my lips again and he whispers against the side of mylips – “ open your damm eyes Sunshine, like I said – I need to look into them…ormaybe you’d prefer having me just ravage your lips again, which I am anywaygoing too in the next couple of minutes, but before I get to that, I need youto allow me to stamp my arrival over your heart, you know like how I marked mydeparture the last time I left..you know at the airports even if you get inthrough the terminals and pass immigration to stay in a place for like 21 hours…youstill need to get a stamp on your passport…”

OH AND DID I MENTION –WE ARE BOTH STILL STATUED TO THAT POSTION AGAINST THIS LADDER,AND I STILL HAVEMY LEGS WRAPPED AROUND HIS WAIST AND HE IS STILL LEANED IN CLOSE INTO ME AS WE HOLDONTO EACH OTHER IN THIS INTESNLY EMBRACED POSTION.

I TIGHTEN MY HOLD AROUNDHIS NECK AS I PULL HIM CLOSER – LIKE AS CLOSE AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE AND I WHISPERIN HIS EARS SOFTLY – “ PLEASE GIVE ME A COUPLE OF MINITES LOVE..OR MY LUNGS AREGOING TO REVOLT ON ME DUE TO THE CONSTRICTION IN THE SUPPLY OF OXYGEN TOWARDSTHEM, AND MY HEART WILL STOP BEATING DUE TO ALL THIS HYPERVENTILATION THAT ISTAXING IT AND OVERUSING ALL THE REMAINDER OF OXYGEN FUEL FOR IT FROM EVERY OXYGENRESERVE FROM MY CELLS IN ALL OF MY BODY AND YOU CAN STAMP YOUR ARRIVAL BUT IREALLY NEED TO DRINK A GLASS OF WATER FIRST..”,AND WITH THAT I JUST HUG HIMHARD INTO MYSELF.

He hugs me hard andseconds later , I can feel him chuckle into the crook of neck, where hed buriedhis face as he whispers – “ godammit…only you can me laugh when I am freakingclean bowled with so much intense emotion…”

I chuckle now onreflex as I pull back and I cup his face and we both open our eyes to look intoeach others and I say softly – “ how about we both get down to my studio nowand get ourselves that much needed dose of H20 into our systems, you know I needto kickstart that oxygen supply and all this dry air is helping, but my throatis parched…”

He chuckles again andhe kisses my nose – “ goddamit you…you are starting to drive me nuts to anotherlevel now..”,and he now pulls me up from my position from the ladder and makesme stand on to the roof floor.

I grin as I tip toe andkiss his cheek and I take out my phone on reflex from my capri’s pockets and I lookat the time.

1245 PM.

WHATTTTTTTTTT THEHELLLL?????

Did I just spend thelast almost 80 minutes – kissing him like that?????????????

NO WONDER – MY LUNGSWERE REVOLTING.

THIS MAN IS GOING TOKILL ME ONE DAY.

I AM TELLING YOUGUYS.

And I look up at Arnavand I flash my phone in his face as I say pointing towards the time on my phone, sure my eyes have widened to cups and saucers and I say – “ its been almost 80minutes since we..”,and I pause.

He grins as pulls meby the waist closer into him again – “ since we what??”

And I now push himaway playfully as I point a finger at his chest and step into him and he stepsback and – “ youuuuuuuuuuu dumble-freaking-dore you……..”,and I step into himagain and he steps back grinning and he instantly holds my hand and pulls me infor a hug and I hug him tight as I tipe toe on my feet and wrap my hands aroundhis neck tightly – “ you bloody magician..do you even know how shaken andfrazzeled I was on that ladder when I heard your voice…I felt like I was in adream or I was going mad hallucinating, just what if the wizarding world ofharry potter has come around to life around me for real – and that you havefreaking managed to cast a spell that has finally invented that bloodyteleportal…godaammit Arnav…”,and I pause as I say into his ears – “ that wasthe best bday gift ever..Arnav..i wouldn’t have had it any other way..spendingthe last minutes of it in your arms , kissing you and being kissed by you….”

He chuckes into myears as he pulls me tighter into him for a hug and he now pulls back and I cuphis face as happy tears flow my eye which he wipes away instantly and I ask – “you did say something like you have managed to keep this teleportal open inbetween of us for 21 hours????? You mean is that how much time you have?????”

He nods as he kissesmy hand and looks into my eyes – “ yes khushi..and im sorry its such a short..but..”

I keep my fingers on hislips instantly as I say – “ shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh are you crazyyyyyyyyyy what thehell do you mean short…these are bloody bonus blackjack hours I was not evenexpecting…bloody blackjack bonus I have hit…”

He looks at mepuzzled – “ blackjack bonus..?????????”

I grin as I say – “ohh the card game blackjack..you know how 21 is the important milestone forthat – lik eyou play for the total of 21 right???? So you said 21 hours…that’s why….”

He shakes his head atme amused and he kisses my forhead and I kiss his lovingly now and I cup hisface as I ask – “ where is your stuff??? Please don’t tell me you carried your heavysuitcase up?????because I didn’t spot any luggage on the way up and if you tellme that you did, I am going to kill you..because that means you risked hurtingyour wrist again…”,and before he can say anything, I pick up his right hand andcheck on his wrist as I ask still examining it – “ your wrist is ok right????”

Arnav takes both myhands into his and he kisses them and he whispers looking into my eyes – “ I amperfect..absolutely perfect..”,and he pauses as he wraps his hands around mywaist and close into him – “ and no…I didn’t pick up my heavy suitcase upKhushi..all my luggage is in the airport luggage storage locker for I have tobe back there by max 8pm tomorrow..i only just got my cabin bag..”,and I lookaround the roof top now puzzled as I cannot spot the cabin bag anywhere and I ask– “ where is it???”

He chuckeles now andbreaks apart and holds my hand and we walk to the daybed and he pulls his smalltrolley bag from behind the bed and he grins and gives me a wink -  “ I hid it ofcourse..i wouldn’t let a sillymistake spoil my surprise now..could i?????????”

I grin and nod.

OK I CANT STOPGRINNING.

I look at him as I saypointing both my palms straight to my cheeks – “ I am telling you, my cheekmuscles are revolting too for the over usage on its muscles for this kind ofinsane stretch..i freaking cannot stop grinning…”

He grins now and pullsme into a crushing hug again and I just hold him close into me and many minuteslater I finally pull apart as I say – “ cmon lets get you relaxed, lets go tomy studio..”

And he nods, and hesabout to wheel his trolley and I glare at him as I gesture to him that I gotthis and I take his cabin bag in my hand and start wheeling it and he laces hishand into my other free hand as we not start walking towards the spiral staircaseand he is about to pick up the cabin bag an di glare at him again as I gestureto him that I can handle it, but he still holds onto it from one hand frombehind me as we now make our way down the spiral staircase and once we aredown, I lace my hand through his again on reflex, and now lead him in – throughthe back door,and we now carry his bag up with me up the stairs to my studio,andjust as we get to that first landing – I knew he would so I was prepared – heimmediately shoves me against the the wall and cages me in between  his arms and he cups my face tenderly andwhispers – “ I know we are like like minutes away from that glass of water..butI need to kiss you here..breifly..”,and before I can complete my usual silentnod , he kisses me instantly again, briefly yet very deeply and we break apartminutes later and I open my eyes to look into his – “ water..lets get that water…”,andhe chuckles and he now instantly scoopes me in his arms like he did the firsttime he was here and takes me up into my studio ,and he places me on the floorgently and gestures to me that he would be back with his cabin bag in a secondand I smile to myself as I quickly walk up to my kitchneete and fill in thoseglasses of water – I fill out three glasses.

One for him.

And Two for myself.

And right then I seehim walk into my studio with his Cabin bag and he closes the door behind himand he adjusts his suitcase against the side wall and he walks up to megriining and I turn around and lean against my kicthenete counter and hand hima glass of water instantly and he chuckles and sips on it and I pick up both myglasses in each of my hand and I start to gulp down on each simultaneously.

I grin on reflex and Iwink – “ opps but you know I have it atleats once in like ten days..”,and I instantlytake it out of the drawer and start to prep it and in the meanwhile I pick outa banana from my fruit basket and I fling it in the air towards him back and hecatches it in instantly and I grin and wink – “ wohoo look at that catch…”,andhe laughs in an instant and starts to eat the fruit as he now plonks himself onthe kitchen counter next to me and I mix the spice mix into the water and then Ibreak the noodles and place them into the saucepan and I take a deep breathe – “Arnav…”,and i now lace my hands through his free hand and I look into his eyes –“ I loved this surprise…I truly did…but this is like…you left a match..and I ..imsorry..…”

He holds my hand – “sorry Khushi..i mean I know you did tell me that this Saturday was going to besuper busy for you…”

I nod – “ okkk khushiopen my blindfold for those five minutes..”

She immediately holdsmy hand as she says – “ no pleaseeee….just keep it on five minutes, you willfigure it out or else there are sign boards sverywhere…”

She places the warm coffeecup in my hand and she says – “ sip on it hoodie guy and I got us some cinnamonswirl as in it sone big one..ill make you eat some too side by side as I eatmyself..”

About seven minuteslater – I feel the car turn into a parking lot and I hear the door open and thenthe boot too – I think shes taking out my cabin bag and then the backdoor – I thinkshe is picking out her backpack and now I hear the side of my door open as shesays excitedly – “ cmon hoodie guy…give me your hand”

Khushi tip toes to myside as she whispers in my ears – “ welcomeee to  Vindoux Tree House which is a very impressiveguest farm with all these tree houses like it’s a pretty cozy and private placethey have like what 7 tree houses only - Hoodie guy, so this place is Tulbaghand like you know this is a 90 minutes drive from Cape Town and is so sogorgeous for its Nestled on the foothillsof the Saronsberg Mountains, between the fruit trees and the vineyards in andaround this area…and how do I know about this place hoodie guy you must bewondering – I once dropped a middle aged couple here on a Sunday evening – it wastheir silver wedding anniversary the next day and the husband wanted tosurprise his wife ofcourse…and right when I came here and saw the surroundingsand talked to the people – I kind of fell in love with this place for its suchan amazingly solitude,serene and a secluded tree-topped getaway and they havethis amazing farm kitchen hoodie guy where they offer all local foods anddishes like homemade stuff – with locally sourced produce…its amazing hoodieguy and do you know then and there I noted this place down in my – Little-black-book- of -wanting-to get-my-hoodie-guy here List..”

I grin as I look ather and I lace my arms around her shoulders – “ you have a Little- black-book- of -wanting-toget-my-hoodie-guy here List..????and why haven’t you ever mentioned that to mehaan???”,and she nods excitedly and I pick up the cabin nag now and we not takethe stairs up to the tree house, and once we are up the landing,she opens thedoor now and steps into it first and then turns to face me and she now holdsher hand out to me and I grin as I take it and step in, and she instantly hugsme and she whispers against my chest softly – “ aree hoodie guy..surprise nofor you…I want to be able to surprise you everytime with a different experiencewhen we are together…that’s all…what else can I do for you hoodie guy..nothingmuch..this is just the simpler things in life that I want to make special foryou…”

I hug her hard and I admit honestly – “ everythingabout you is pricelessly special Khushi..everything you do for me has adifferent meaning for me…I can never explain it in words…”,and she now pullsapart and she now kisses my cheek – “ I already ordered some breakfast to besent up for us..just the way you like it – your omelletes and your chicken sauseges,some toasts and some fruit too and ofcourse some coffee…it should be here inabout twenty minutes..”,and I cant stop grinning like an idiot and she nowtakes me by the hand towards the backend of the tree house where we step outinto this huge tree housed balcony with a picnic wooden log bench on it andthen on the other side theres this canopied day bed and I grin as I pull Khushiclose to me by the waist – “ all I want to do after breakfast is just chillwith you here..”

She nods now and kisses my forhead and shewalks up a little to the balcony end and she places both her hands on thewooden railing and she looks at the amazing view in front of us and she is all lostin a deep thought and I walk upto her from behing and I hug her from behind andshe leans in back towards me snuggling into me close from the front and I adjustmy head in the crook of her neck and I ask whispering in her ears – “ where areyou lost???”

She closes her eyes and she tightens her holdon my hands as she now whispers, her eyes are still closed and theres so muchdisplay of emotion on her face and I say – “ Khushi talk to me please?????”

She takes a deep breathe as she asks – “ I willjust keep my eyes closed while I tell this to you is that ok??”

I say immediately – “ yes khushi…”

She takes a deep breathe and her hands tightenon my arms – “ so I had this in my head ofcourse as in that I wanted to talk toyou about this over the video call anyway because I couldn’t write this in text…butthen in all the excitement of all that happened, it just slipped my mind..soyesterday in my uber after dinner, my second last pick up…before your call came…itwas Dr Priya…”

And I ask on reflex – “ and she is????”

She takes a deep breathe – “ the counsellor andwho helped me with that initial anxiety after the air crash…remember I told youI was on some medication for the four days after…she was the one..and I did seeher for  seeions weekly you know as shecounselled me and guided me with all that grief…and then like six to sevenweeks after I was in a much better state..and so suggested that I take thishead on anyway and I did..i never felt the need to see her after because I feltI was coping up fine…and then yesterday by chance she was alone when I pickedher up and she asked me about how I was doing and I was telling her how I amcoping much better and everything and she asked me if I had sat on a plane yet?Or if I had been able to….”,and she paused.

There was a lot of emotional display on Khushi’sface and I could sense that she was sceptical about voicing it out to me and I tightenmy hold on her as I say softly, trying to offer her comfort – “ khushi..itsme..you can tell me anything..you know that…I am not going to judge you…what otherthing as in what other or was she hinting????”

She takes a deep breathe as she says – “ or if Ihad been able to drive towards the airport…”,and she paused as she says softly –“ I do not drive anywhere near the airport Arnav, as in I never take any picksups from the airport ever after..because I dread going to the departure drop point– because that was where I last saw them..mom, dad, and krish as I dropped themto the airport that day on my way to university… I cant get myself to go there..itslike I feel I am scared of what I might feel when I am there…and so I shut itout..and…”,and she paused as a lone tear fell off her eye which I hated, but I knowshe needs to vent out and so I just hold her tight and close and I whisper gently– “ and what Khushi??”

She takes another deep breathe but she does notwipe the tears that are now flowing off her eyes – “ and she said somethinglike its about time you face those two main fears Khushi…and she said if I didn’tand if I kept shutting it out longer – It might just become a bigger problemand that kind of flustered me and she said that I could come to her for help ifI needed it, as in you know if I faced anxiety or something..”,and I am nowabout to turn her around and embrace her into a big tight hug and tell her thatshe didn’t need to be so harsh on herself and just probably give herself moretime and that I was with her always and I hear her continue – “ and that is whyI always get you an uber to the airport, and not drive you there but…”,and shepaused again and she took another deep breath as she said – “ but I think sheis right I need to take this first step..you know as in I will probably neverbe able to take this otherwise and now that I see the timing off it I think it’sa sign....and so…I want to..as in..i will drive you to the airport todayArnav..if theres anyone I would want to be with while I go there for the firsttime after…its You…”

EMOTIONS HAVE GOBSMACKED ME TO ANOTHER LEVELNOW!!!!

I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY TO THAT.

And so I just turn her around immediately and pullher into a crushing hug as I brush her hair softly as she hugs me tight too andI hold her close as I whisper – “ I am with you, always…ok???and you will talkto me about everything ok?? Anything…and I will help you with any anxiety youfeel ok??”

She hugs me tight as she asks – “ I do not wantto push this further because I feel like I need to get around to being able toget on that plane too right…and this would be the first step right???I have to beable to come and surprise the daylights out of your head too one day right?????”,andshe chuckles now in my arms as she whispers in my ears – “ well last night youalso surprised the moonlights out of my head hoodie guy and I am dying toreturn the favour…I love you so godammit match… I am telling you I am almostjust like twenty steps away from watching a live match too…one day maybe soon Iwill come to the stadium with Rahul&Co and act like a crazy Hooligan…”

I chuckle now myself.

SEE ONLY SHE WILL GET ME ALL EMOTIONAL AND THENMAKE ME LAUGH THE VERY NEXT SECOND.

I hug her harder for many minute and I finallypull apart and I cup her face and I kiss her forhead – “ I love you..ok?? and Iunderstand…all of this…and Khushi grieving is a process, I know it takes timeto heal and come around certain things,and I support you ok?? I am always therefor you…just talk to me about it like you always do…”

She nods and smiles and wipes her tears now asshe grins cupping my face with both her hands – “ i am your freaking biggest fanin this whole wide world ok??? I mean I may not watch cricket yet but I amstill your biggest fan..even bigger than krish…Rahul &Co..like your biggestfan in the world..”,and she winks as she says with another smile as she brushesmy cheeks with her thumb tenderly – “ but I am also a bigger fan of all thosecrazy spells you cast off your wand Mr Dumbledore…like the biggest fan of that…Iwant you to always remember that..”

I grin and I nod because I am speechless withall crazy emotion and right then we hear a knock on the door and Khushi grins –“ ok hoodie guy…breakfast is here….cmon you sit…ill just get it in for us..”

And I nod as I take my seat on this picnic logand I watch Khushi hop into the step out now cheerfully as she gestures thestaff to place the tray on the table and she starts to help her.

I am still Gobsmacked by all this emotion I amfeeling.

God.

Arnav POV continues

My eyes fall on the clock on the wall.

3:00 PM.

Dammit.

I just had three more hours here with Khushi.

So after breakfast, we had spent some good timejust chilling and snuggling into each other in that canopied day bed in thetree houses balcony and shed had her fingers laced with mine all throughout aswe talked and i spent a lot of hours just kissing her like a mad man again.

Oh and I haven’t mentioned what she was wearingtoday.

My Sunshine was looking beyond adorable in her lightorange coloured formal oval necked top which has this quirky zipper at the backand her usual denims and her hair were tied into that high ponytail that I loved.

And only I know how much control it was takingoff me in those heated moments in between us on that canopy bed as sheresponded to me with equal urgency and passion as I touched her everywhere(overher clothes- because I was not going to cross the line – no matter howtortourous it was for me) and we pulled each other as closer into each other –as in like as close as humanly possible.

God.

There was something that was Super Intense andCrazily electric.

I have never experienced this before.

And I know – Nor has She.

OUR CHEMISTRY WAS FREAKING DANGEROUS.

Goddamit only I know how I stopped myself frommaking raw love to her in those moments.

But I love her.

I respect her.

I know she is not ready for us to take thatstep yet.

I know her through and through.

She loves me Insanely – I know.

And I know if I intitate things – she mightjust flow with her emotions too but I was not taking a chance yet because I didn’twant her to regret it later.

I didn’t want her to ever regret a moment shedspent with me.

And so.

I gotta take our physical intimacies too likeone, step at a time.

We are done with out lunch too and wed spentlunch time talking to each other .I was talking to her about Cap, Ravi and thenRavi and Anjali that how ravi had gotten Anjali thinking over the fact that didshe really want to throw away all that they felt because of a ten secondmistake – that Ravi did in that drunken state and we both had the same confusedview over it now that we discussed things from both Anjali’s and Ravi’s pointof views – as in we both didn’t support ravi’s actions but were trying tounderstand things from his perspective and then even she was like its to twopeople in a relationship as in like to each their own as no one from the outsidecould judge or interfere - and to be honest I am kind of glad that both of ourviews matched a lot on that.

And then we talked some more.

ITS AMAZING HOW MUCH WE BOTH LOVE TO TALK TOEACH OTHER.

ANYWAYS.

We are now about to start playing this magneticdart wall game and I was waiting for Khushi to step out the washroom and shewalks out two minutes later she steps out and I grin to myself as I aim amagnetic dart towards the paper magnetic board on the wall and it hits a bullseye instantly and I wink at her as I say challenging her – “ beat that..Sunshine..”

She grins as she hops in cheerfully next to meand takes a dart off my hand and aims it to the wall board and her dart hitsright next to mine and I say impressed – “ not bad Sunshine..”

She grins –“ cmon lets total the points too…andthen lets see three rounds…if I win..you make me coffee today..and if you winyou get to leave two departure stamps over my heart..”,she finishes with awink.

I grin – “ ok then…game on Sunshine..”

She winks and she kisses my cheek – “ fiverounds Hoodie guy..im telling you I am an expert at this..”

I wink at her – “ well so am i…”

There goes my opportunity of the second stampover her heart.

I didn’t know she was so freaking good at this.

And so now I am at this mini coffee station andmaking us both Coffee and she is standing next to me and grinning mischeviouslyand once I am done – I hand her a cup of her coffee and I pick up mine and shetakes my hand and we now get into the bed and I settle myself against the headboardand she snuggles into me from the front and she sips on her coffee and I sip onmine and she says softly – ‘ Arnav..its 345 pm…we have to leave her by 6 at anycost, I will put the alarm for 545 pm..because it will take us fifteen minutesto get out of here and then get to the main highway…”

I take a sip of my coffee and I sip on it and Itighten my hold on her waist as I see her put the alarm and just as I finishtaking my sip I admit honestly – “ I don’t feel like leaving Khushi..to behonest…godammit…”

She turns to me from the side as she kisses mycheek – “ Xmas is not far Arnav…just one month time will fly..”

I sigh as I pull her closer into me and I restmy head into the crook of her neck – “ to be honest khushi, I think I will comein as soon as the Bangladesh tour finishes on the 22nd December and Iwill stay on till about 2nd Jan…because after that it’s a crazy hecticschedule for the rest of the full year until November mid..but I promise to comesee you as frequently as possible Khushi...”

She sips on her coffee and shes holding ontoher cup as she now turns a little towards me and she says with a comfortingsmile –“ I know I know hoodie guy..i have remembered your schedule by heart..”

I grin as I ask her – “ realllyyyy???”

She nods as she says – “ see you have Englandcoming to tour India for three weeks starting Jan 6th and then rightas that finishes this time our boys as In South Africa is coming to tour Indiain Feburary instead of the other way round like it was for all these years..”

I groan as I say – “ do you remember howdisappointed I was when I got to know that it was reverse this time around…goddamitI thought I was going to have that one month in SA and then I would travel toand fro in between matches to come see you as and when I could..”

She kisses my cheek and I keep sipping on my coffeeas I watch her amused – “ yes yes I remember..you scowled about it for threefull days Arnav..”,and she grins as she continues – “ and then ofcourse youhave your epic IPL season starting early and then you have to fly to Londonsoon after for that Natwest triangular tournament with England and Australia forabout three weeks,and then you are back to swinging in between India, Bangladeshand Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup…and then finally”,and she grins as she winks andthen – “ and then finally you shall be in my South Africa by Mid October touptil my Bday in November because of the ICC T20 World CUP…now tell me did I missanything??”

I grin on reflex as I say – “ no you have itall right..and I am quite excited about all of it actually…to be honest..youknow..”

She finishes up her coffee and she now places herempty cup on the side table and I gulp mine and place it on the side and sheturns as she now kneels up on her knees and hovers me and she whispers – “ I know…becauseyou feel like you want to play every game from now on…as that timeline isnearing..”

I nod as I admit – “ yes Khushi..its like thishas been my life for so so long..i want to end with a bang because even thoughDad’s spoken to me about a possibility of not quitting, like I told you allabout that talk with him over lunch , its like I know – as in I will neverchange that decision, its fixed in my head – I am sure about what I want and I doplan to announce my retirement from all forms of international cricket before Iturn 30 as in maybe by December first week I will have to give a heads up to theboard first..because only then will I be able to announce it publically – its goingto be a hard battle with the board too for I am going to face a lot of scrutinyover as to why I don’t want to continue longer..but I am sure..”

She now kisses my forhead and she sits next tome and she gestures me to place my head in her lap and I do and she brushes herhand softly through my hair and she leans forward and kisses my forhead  - “ I understand Arnav but your Dad’s gottapoint too though Arnav..maybe think about this again when the time comes.., lookyou should just be happy within that’s all..and be true to what you want..thatsall and then whatever that is – I am going to support you no matter what..”

I kiss her hand lovingly as I say – “ thank youKhushi…but like I said, I am sure…like dead sure, I am not going to change thatdecision at all..its already predecided in my head – and so I am just going togive it my all till then…”

She picks up my right hand and she kisses mywrist as she winks – “ but you better take care of my wrist hoodie guy…”

I grin on reflex and I pull her by her headover me for a brief kiss and she breaks apart a few minutes later and shekisses my forhead again – “ like I said – I am with you always, no matter whatyou decide..you have my unconditional love and support hoodie guy…”,and shepauses and right then i see her whack her forhead as she says – “ see I forgotto tell you about this…I have to discuss this with you first before I get toeven consider it ..i mean I need to know what you think about this..”

I sit up now and I gesture her to place herhead in my lap now like I had mine in hers and I brush my hand into her hairlovingly as I ask – “ what?? Tell me…”

She looks into my eyes – “ so the other dayover lunch, as in on my bday, Asher mentioned something like if I would be okwith giving some advise on his financial investments after I rceived myofficial CA certification once the result was out and he said he’d also give mea professional fees…”

I say on reflex – “ khushi that would be goodfor experience..i think you should consider it…”

Ok.

So I know Asher does feel something for Khushi.

I know My Sunshine is precious and honestly it isn’treally her fault if someone’s smitten by her.

I understand.

She is so amazingly special that if ones ableto spot that – everything about her can tip toe its way into your heart andhead.

But I trust Khushi.

She tells me everything always and shes eventold me all about her discussion about me with Zain, Zara and Asher the otherday over her b’day lunch.And from everything she has told me about all herconversations with Asher over these months its like – this man has not tried tocross the line too – he does sound like a man of ethics and morals- I think hedoes respect the fact that she is in love with someone else.

And well its not just that.

I know Khushi loves me in a way that’s reallydeep- honest and pure.

And Hence.

I am very secured in our relationship.

I have nothing to worry.

I want Khushi to explore her potential is allthe best opportunities and avenues.

She nods as she says – “ well yes you are rightabout that I mean it will be good for experience but then you know what I toldhim that even if I do consider it..you know since I wanted to discuss this withyou first..i told him I wont take any fee or anything because it wont be fairas in I have no experience to be able to earn that kind of a professional fees…”

I grin as I say – “ I think you should go forboth..why don’t you go for the one tonight too after dropping me???”

She kissed my hand – “ lets see ya hoodie guy…illsee on my mood…”,and she now propels up on her knees and she now looms over meas she whispers against my lips – “ you know what..i just noticed that you havesome coffee broth on the side of your lips hoodie guy…”,and I grin on refex andshe kisses the side of my lips and takes some bit of the coffee broth in and shenow takes my lips in for a deep prolonged french kiss which she tries todominate but I don’t let her as I take over and immediately I turn her aroundher and push her into the pillows and I start to kiss her like a mad man andshe breaks apart many many heated minutes later as she tries to catch on herbreathe and she says softly against my lips – “  now I just want you to kiss me until thatalarm goes off on my phone..Arnav…” and she clutches on round neck tee as shesays, looking into my eyes – “ and you can stamp my heart twice too even thoughyou lost the dart game..”

I grin as I ask – “ special bonus ahaaaa???”

She grins and before she can say anything tothat – I start to kiss her like a mad men and in between those deep prolongedpassionate kisses, I also unleash my carnage on the areas that were permittedfor me to invade with my lips – like all her face too, her sinfully gorgeousneckline that I loved so deeply and her shoulder blades,and yes I was alsocaressing and touching her almost everywhere over her clothes,(this was afurther permission that I had gained this morning)and the way she was respondingto my touches all over again – drove me nuts to another level but I kept my mindon alert mode for control and I continued to drive us both insane.

I cant stop touching her.

I cant stop kissing her.

I gotta stock this moment in my head to keep megoing until I saw her around Xmas.

Many many heated , passionate and carnaged minuteslater on in between of us,as I am still kissing her like a mad man, I hear thealarm buzz off on her phone, and I groan in disappointment as she pulls apart nowand sits up and picks up her phone from the side desk and she says – “ I have snozzedit for five minutes Arnav…”,and she now turns to me and she gets into her lyingposition next to me and this time shes got her back to me and I wrap my handsaround her waist as I say honestly – “ I want the time to stand still right now…”

She kisses my hand as she whispers – “ I know…”,andshe now kisses my hand and turns around and our eyes lock in an intenseemotional gaze as she whispers – “ you have like four minutes…to get thosedeparture stamps..”,and she pauses as she whispers into my ears – “ but I willneed your help to pull down my back zipper half way through, the only way I willbe able to get my tee down…”

I look at her as I say narrowing my eyes at her– “ you are doing this on purpose sunshine..kill me already…”

She winks mischeviously as she says – “cmon..you have three minutes now..” and I pull down her back zipper half waythrough and two of my finger touch her bare skin by default, ans she freakingtrembles and shivers in my arms.

God.

This Imapct that we have on each other.

Its freaking Insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

She now tugs on her tee from one side and pullsit down to the position of her Heart and shes got her eyes closed and she isheaving and breathless in nervousness – and just the sight of her kills me.

God.

I gotta shrug away these Sinful Thoughts.

I grin to myself as I admit honestly – “ wellthe stamp mark from this mornings arrival still remains Sunshine..so…is it okif I give one stamp over the morning mark, and the other one right next to it alittle over the top,??”,and I pause as I feel her tremble in my arms and I say –“ I know you are speechless, just nod your head love like you always do…”

She nods.

And I kiss her softly and then not so softlyand gently and give her my two stamps, which make her moan my name in way thatdrives me nuts and I trail a line of kisses up her frontal side of the throatnow and then take her lips in a deep prolonged kiss again as I use my hands toadjust her tee back in its place and right then as shes kissing me back , andshe wraps hers legs around my waist and pulls me closer into her – that bloddysnoozed alarm goes off.

BLODDDY HEELLLLLLLLL!

And she continues to kiss me briefly and deeplyand she takes my lower lip in a single lip kiss before she finally opens hereyes to look into mine as she whispers – “ its time to leave Arnav..and I don’twant you to get late…”,and I nod as we both get up now and she whispers softly nowstanding up – “ will you please help me zip that zipper up??”

I nod and I stand and I help her and just as I finishI kiss her at the back of her neck where that zipper finishes and I say wrappingmy arms around her waist – “ I love you Khushi..and I will be back soon…”

She turns around and kisses my cheek and thenmy eyes and my nose and Lips briefly again– “ I know…and I will wait..”

Khushi’s POV

740 PM

Arnav now tightens his hold on my hand as weare now out of the main city and we see the first signage and arrow that says –Airport.

I am speechless.

I cant say a word.

I got speechless about five minutes ago as wewere heading out the city and I knew he knew it.

He understood.

It was in his eyes and in that loving silentnod as he told me that he Understood – that I was now going to be Silent.

God – I love this Man.

I clutch onto his hand tightly as I keep myeyes on the road.

I take a couple of deep breathes as I keep myeyes on the road and concentrate on driving and memories – freaking memories ofnow happy I was with everyone as in Mom and Dad and Krish the last I drove onthis road – starts to flash its way through my head.

I am going to do this.

I Can do this.

And right then theres a red light and I stopthe car on the red light and Arnav hands me a bottle of water and I gulp halfof it down.

He kisses my hand as he asks – “ Khushi are youok??? You don’t need to if its nerve wrecking- I can get a cab..”

I take a deep breathe and I look at him and I nodat him silently as I gesture him with my eyes that I have to do this today andhe nods back silently and I know he understood.

I didn’t have to voice it loud.

And I think he also understood my other unsaidbecause I wanted him to just clutch on my hand tightly and he did just that asthe signal went green and I took a deep breathe as I pressed the foot on therace.

Daddy’s voice starts ringing in my ears now.

Moms too.

Krishs Laughter.

And the visions of driving them here last-keeps coming back to haunt me…but I just clutch on to his hand tighter as I continuewith my focus on the road.

I can do this.

I WILL DO THIS.

I WILL DO THIS WITHOUT GETTING A PANIC OR ANANXIETY ATTACK.

ARNAV IS HERE.

And we are now nearing the airport and I amabout to take the route into the final flyover that is going to take me to thatDeparture Point.

He tightens his hold on my hand as he says softly–“ I am here Khushi..right here…”

I take a deep breathe and I nod and then I takethe flyover upto the Departures.

I take a deep breathe as I keep myconcentration on the road and I am now nearing that Departure Point and I thinkI have clutched Arnav’s hand so tight that hed have marks by the time I lefthis hand – but I need to.

I need to hold on tighter.

And just as the final point of drop comes intoMy Vision – where I last waved Bye to my Daddy, Mom and Krish and told them tohave fun and be back soon.

Tears start to roll down my eyes now on reflex.

And I finally pull the car to a halt near that samedrop point number 6 as it got free as a car drove away -  I put my head on my steering wheel and I Cry.

I cant help it.

And right then I feel his hand on my head as hesays – “ khushi..”,and I instantly unbuckle my seat belt and I hug him closeand I hug him tight as I cry in his arms and he just hugs me hard too.

And just as I cry out in his arms.

I feel some sort of Catharsis take over me –like it did the last time I had cried in his arms in y study room.

And I feel so overwhelemed.

And I feel a Little Free.

I feel like I have conquered a Big Fear.

I hug him hard and I whisper into his ears – “Ifeel free Arnav..i feel so free…”

And he now pulls away and a lot of emotion isevident in his voice as he whispers – “ you did it..i told you..you could….seeno anxiety, no panic…”

I pick up his hand on reflex and get it to his vision– “ yeahh right look at your hand, it has my fingerprints in between yourfingers where my hand was laced I held it so tight…there was some panicofcourse….”

He kisses my forhead – “ I am proud of you…and thankyou for these marks though…its like you are stamping my departure..”,and he smilesnow and kisses my nose and he says – “ now go to that bloddy mixer andcelebrate this…and have a beer for me too…but just two beers ok? I don’t want youto drink and drive..”

I take a deep breathe as I cup his face andkiss his lips briefly and deeply and when I open my eyes and he opens his, I sayhonestly with a smile – “ next time when you Land in Cape Town, call this ubergirl, I will be your pick up from the airport…”

He grins now he smacks my Lips – “ ohh really…?”

I nod and I say to him – “ you are bloody magic…Arnavsingh Raizada…bloody magic…”,and I kiss his hand.

He grins as he kisses my nose – “ well so areyou…Sunshine..”

I kiss his hand – “ I love you..”

He kisses mine – “ I love you Sunshine..”

And now I know I have to drive away because carsare piling up behind me and he kisses my forhead and holds me close in thatposition into him for a couple of seconds and then he kisses my lips briefly – “until we meet again..”

I nod as I say – “ until we meet again..”,and Iask – “ you have the hanuman chalisa right???”

He nods – “ always..i love you Sunshine”

And then I pull him close for another hug and Isay my powerful hanumanji’s mantra to be like his safety cover and I pull awaysecond later and I say - “ I love youtoo Arnav…ill wait for you..right here..always..go now go go …”

And he finally gets off the car and he picks out the cabinbag from the backseat and he makes his way into the Departure Gates.

And I watch for a couple of seconds until I loose the sightof him into the crowd as I see him put on his hoodie over his head and take outhis phone and lower his head into it – and I feel Love rush through me.

I CANT BELIEVE I DID THIS.

HE WAS THERE.

And right then my phone beeps.

Him : I am in Khushi, now cmon get to that mixer and don’t forgetto have a beer on my behalf.we can text and chat once you are there and if youare able too until I get on the plane.

Me : I love you Arnav.Starting to drive now.i will messageyou once I reach the mixer.Thank you for being there for me.

Him :I am always there for you.Always Khushi.Always.

I send him a line of many Heart emoticons now.

And I take a deep breathe as I look at the departure pointagain and just like that the Happy faces of My family members revolves aroundmy eyes again and I wave on reflex like I waved at them the last time throughthe car window.

AND A LONE OVERWHELMED TEAR FALLS OFF MY EYE AGAIN.

And I wipe it off and I take a deep breathe and I start todrive away,and i raise up the volume on Hoodie Guys playlist.

AND

I START TO FEEL LIKE A BIG BAGGGAE OF FEAR HAS LIFTED ITSELFFROM MY HEART – AND DISAPPEARED INTO AIR.

AND I COULD DO THIS – BECAUSE HE HAD BEEN BY MY SIDE SILENTLYSUPPORTING ME IN THE WAYS HE WAS.

HE WAS MADE OF MAGIC – THIS GUY.

HE TRULY WAS – MORE POWERFUL THAN DUMBLEDORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND I WAS GOING TO LOVE HIM TILL THE END OF TIME.

AND I AM NOW VERY STRONGLY STARTING TO BELIEVE - THAT ITSLOVE – THAT IS THE MOST POWERFUL MAGIC OF THEM ALL.
