Chapter 3

RECAP:
            Armaan-Atul brother talk.Armaan describes his dream girl.Ridz birthday & AA marriage on same day.Everyone reaches the hall for wedding.Outside weather is going bad.Armaan comes & tells AA that he has to go to sanjeevani for emergency.
PART 3:
              AA are still shocked on hearing this from armaan.
Ar: champ jaldi chal,mujhe mom-dad ko bhi bataana hai.
Atul & Armaan go to keerti-shubh-shash.
Ar: dad mujhe abhi sanjeevani jaana hai.
Shu: par achaanak kyu?
Ar: dad mere patient ki tabeeyat bahut bigad rahi hai.Mujhe abhi hospital se phone aaya.Aur sanjeevani ke saare doctors yahaan shaadi main aaye hai isliye wahaan koi doctor nahi.
K: par armaan bahar ka haal dekha tumne?toofaan kabhi bhi aa sakta hai.aur aise mein.....
Ar: par mom kissi patient ki jaan ke saamne yeh toofaan kuch nahi hai.Aur waise bhi yeh sirf ek assumption hai ki toofaan aanewala hai.Is assumption ke basis par kissi patient ki jaan ke saath toh samjhauta nahi kar sakte..
Shu: theek hai beta tum jaaoo,par jaldi waapas aana.
Ar: jee dad.
By this time atul actually has tears in his eyes.
Ar: arrey champ tu ro kyu raha hai?
At: tere liye meri shaadi se zyaada zaroori kuch aur hai?yahaan mujhe teri zaroorat padi toh??
Ar: arrey champ tu aise kyu bol raha hai......teri shaadi main abhi ek ghanta baaki hai.Main pheron tak waapas aa jaaooga.Aur doctor hone ke naati jaana mera farz hai....
At: theek hai jaa tu......main tujhse kabhi baat nahi karooga.
Armaan hugs him.
Ar: champ tu jaanta haina main apne kaam ke saath samjhauta nahi karta.Aur main keh raha hoon na ki main teri shaadi khatam hone se pehle waapas aa jaaooga.Aur rahul bhaiya bhi toh hai tere saath.Unke paas mujhse zyaada experience hai.
At: theek hai jaa.Apna khyaal rakhna aur jaldi aana.
Armaan leaves from there to go to sanjeevani.He looks at his patient & now he is ok.
Nurse: sir bahar bahut bada toofaan aaya hai.Aapko waapas nahi jaana chahiye.
Ar: Mujhe jaana hoga.Champ mera intzaar kar raha hoga.
Nu: par bahut baarish ho rahi hai......
Ar: dont worry mere paas jacket hai.....aap patient ka khyaal rakhna.
AT RIDDHIMA'S PLACE:
Naina: riddhi aisa kya kar rahi hai.......aaj tera janamdin hai.tere liye hum main se koi aaj club nahi gayaa.....kamse kum ek cake toh khilaa.
Zaara: aur nahi toh kya,bechara club ka aaj itna nuksaan hoga.....manager bhi ro raha hoga...
Bi: chup karo tum log......riddhi inki baat mat sunna......sab tujhe ullu banaa rahi hai.....yeh log nahi gaye kyunki aaj club bandh hai...
R: jaanti hu main bi......par in ka itna mann hai cake khaane ka......main neeche se le aati hu.....
Bi: tu pagal hai kya???Bahar kitni baarish ho rahi hai aur aise main tu neeche jaayegi???
R: bi,neeche hi toh jaana hai........dekho na sabko bura lagega.Main bas thodi der main waapas aa jaaoogi....
Naina: yeh hui na baat....jaa jaldi s lekar aa aur sun chocolate cake laana.
R: theek hai.
Saying this ridz leaves from there.
Bi: tum log bhi na cake nahi khaate toh kya jaata?kal khaa lete....itne kharaab mausam main woh bahar gayi hai....
Na: fikar mat kar ma,riddhi jaldi aa jaayegi.......
Ridz goes to the cake shop but it is closed.
Ri(to herself): hey bhagwaan,dukaan toh bandh hai.....ab main kya karu????sabko kitna mann tha cake khaane ka..........ab main kya karu......arrey haan,zaara us din bol rahi thi ki bahar ek bahut badi cake shop hai.Woh deekhne main bahut mehengi thi aur yahaan se thodi dur bhi hai....par shayad woh khuli hogi.......mehengi hai toh kya hua main sabka mann rakhne ke liye itna toh kar hi sakti hu aur dur hai toh kya hua main raasta dhoondh hi lungi.......par baarish bhi bahut ho rahi hai......ek kaam karti hu auto pakad leti hu toh main zyaada bheegugi bhi nahi.....agar Chaata(umbrella) lene ke liye waapas gayi toh bi mujhe cake laane ke liye itni door jaane nahi degi.....Nahi main waapas nahi jaa sakti.....Thoda bheeg lungi......
She catches an auto & reaches to the cake shop.She remembered the way zaara had told her.She steps out of the auto.
R(to herself): baap re......itni badi dukaan......yeh toh waaqay main bahut mehengi lagti hai......par koi baat nahi cake bhi achchi hi milegi.....
She steps into the shop.The shop is empty because in such weather no 1 would leave the house to eat cake.Ridz enters the shop & is shocked to see so many different types of cakes.She is thinking to herself'log itni saari cake mein se ek cake kaise decide kar sakte hai'.....
A man: yes madam,how can i help you???
Ridz looks at him confusingly......
Man: which cake would you prefer madam????
R(shayad jaan na chahta hai mujhe kaunsi cake chahiye): chocolate....
Man: Which chocolate madam?Dark chocolate or normal?
Ridz not understanding what he is saying.
R(just randomly): dark.
Man: these are all dark chocolates......which one would you prefer?
There were many dark chocolate cakes.Ridz was just mesmerised by seeing so many cakes.She couldnt decide just one of all.She was still thinking of which cake to buy when a second man came & saw her shockingly.He went to 1st man & whispered in his ears"kya kar raha hai tu?aise logon ko apne shop mein aane dega toh yeh cake shop ki reputation kya rahegi?"The 1st man looked at him confusingly when the 2nd man hinted him who ridz was.While here ridz had finally decided on double heart dark chocolate cake & she was about to tell but the 1st man started yelling at her.
Man: tumhaari himmat kaise hui mere shop mein pair rakhne ki????Tum jaise characterless ladki meri shop main aa kaise sakti hai?Chali jaaoo yahaan se warna dhakke maar kar yahaan se nikaaloga.Pata nahi kissi ne tumhe yahaan dekh liya toh log meri dukaan bandh karwaa denge.Just get out.....Ramu isse yahaan se nikaal aur poore farsh ko do baar dhole taaki iski gandgi yahaan se chali jaaye.
Ridz was just shocked & dumbstruck after hearing this.She had never seen outside world but heard from others that its cruel but she never imagined it would be so cruel.She started walking outside on the road under heavy rain with tears in her eyes.She remembered what had happened with zaara.She remembered how she told zaara that if she would've been in her place & insulted like that she would punish the person.But sometimes when something all of a sudden happens in life unexpectedly,you cant respond instantly because the first emotion which comes out is of shock which rules over all other emotions.Same thing happened with ridz.She realised what zaara & others must have gone through when they might've heard these sarcastic words.It was very easy to sit back in house & tell you would've done this & that but when the time comes you just cant respond.But ridz still had self-respect.How could she just hear these words & go on.She ran back to the shop & gave a tight SLAP to the man who insulted her like that & ran from there crying.How could she just hear those words & stay quite.After slapping him she kept on running & running not knowing where she was going.She just wanted to go far from this world.She wanted to leave everything & everyone.
                But when she came to a halt tired of running she didnt know where she was.There were no vehicles which could leave her to her house.Roads were empty.She got really scared.It was raining very heavily & lot of wind was blowing.The trees were swaying due to wind as if dancing in the rain.Street lights were out due to which the area was totally dark.Ridz was very scared & didnt know what to do.She was crying more now due to the fact that she was lost.She started walking hoping against hope that she'll be able to find a way to her house.She saw 3 men sitting under a tree.She thought of asking them for help & approached them but when she went near she saw they were drinking beers.Before she could utter a word the men were checking her out from top to bottom.Ridz realised she was in wrong place & tried moving from there but one man caught her hand & was trying to go close to her.She kicked him with her legs & ran from there.By the time the other 2 caught their friend ridz disappeared in darkness.She just ran & ran with all her left enegy without even once turning back.The other 3 also ran behind her but couldnt figure out in which way she went.Here ridz kept running & running till she collided with the back of a man who was standing near his car & trying to figure out the problem with his car.She had closed her eyes & was out of breath but somehow now she felt safe.The man turned & its obviously none other than armaan.Ridz whose head was still lying on his back fell on his chest due to his sudden movement.She just lay her head on his chest neither opening her eyes nor moving.She just twirled her hands around his chest.Armaan tried lifting her head from his chest but was caught by her voice when she spoke slowly & firmly"madad" .He lifted her head & both were now facing each other but they still couldnt see each others faces but their hearts had all of sudden started beating faster.Just then lightening occured in sky as if god sent this light so that two souls find their soulmate.They just stared at each other while in ridz heart she felt that the guitar rang & armaans heart told him'bas yahi toh hai woh'.
