I just understood, that is friendship, the love for someone. 

Everything else may deceive, this can not. 

Everything else can get away and leave us at loss, 

This can not, because it depends on us.

I cannot say to him: be my friend. But I can say,

I shall be your friend.

Be it this way or that, the friendship of his

I could not doubt. I got fond of him, I know it because

He became necessary to me; because I haven't taken amiss

Anything, whatever he has said or done, 

Everything of his  got important to me.

The love is perhaps the only thing in the world 

One doesn't need to explain, or search for its reasons.

Still, I am doing that, if only to mention again

This man who brought so much joy to my life. 

I asked him once, how come that it was me

That he presented his friendship to.

One does not choose the friendship, it happens who knows why like love..

And I presented nothing to you but to myself!
