Part 10 : Home alone

Siddhi's POV:  I fought this case like my life but Kunal didnt event stay to give a smile, why does he behave like this

Anand: What are you thinking SIddhi?

Siddhi(turns towards the voice):  Anand, Thank you. If not you i would'nt have won the case. I don't know how you unlocked Kunal's phone so quick .

Anand: You see, im still smart ( Siddhi gives a look).. arey yaar, the password is a 6 lettered character, so it can be either a date of birth or some special name

Siddhi: Oh let me guess, his birthday? Or yours?

Anand: Even I thought so, but it was a name.

Siddhi counts the letters in Richa's name in mind to check if that was his password

Anand: But the wierd part is, you not knowing bhaiya's password after staying with him so long.

Siddhi: Your bhaiya doesnt even let me touch his gold medal, phone is far

Anand(pov): But his password was your name Siddhi

Anand: Are you by any chance complaining about my brother to me?

Siddhi(smiles): Cant I complain to a friend?

Anand(a loving look): bilkul.  ( Seema joins them)

Seema: Siddhi!, waah you tore that Thakral in court. No one except Kunal bhaiya has defeated him and today you broke that record

Siddhi: Bhabi I should actually thank you for this win

Seema: Arey (wonders) What did I do?

Siddhi: You lied to Anouki about a teddy bear and she has recorded it on Kunal's phone. And Kunal let the recordings on other calls unknowingly

Seema: Today I will sure get Anouki and Ishani their teddy bears. 

Anand: Kunal bhaiya kithar hai? ( Siddhi looks around)

Seema: You know him, he doesnt like addressing presses and people after win.

At Kunal's home in the evening, Kunal returns home after his alone time

Raj: Kunal! where were you so long? We were worried beta

Kunal: Papa, what is there to worry now? Case is over

Raj: Chalo, go to your room and rest well. I'm happy and alive again

Kunal: Papa, dont get stressed over small, small problems

Raj: This was not a small one beta, anything that my children face are big to me.

Kunal: Arey papa, why are you getting emotional, chalo aap pehle aaram karo

Sinal room

When Kunal entered their room Siddhi was holding his photo in hand

Kunal: What are you doing with my photo in hand?

Siddhi: Aap!! ( thinks what to say) Kuch nehi, i wasnt doing anything.... haan, i was cleaning it (acts like cleaning it)

Kunal:ayee... jhooti. Wait , were you shouting at my photo?

Siddhi: Why would I do?

Kunal: Because you cant shout at me directly,

Siddhi: I was just trying to clean it.

Kunal: Aaj kal, your activites are very suspectable

Siddhi: meri activity?

Kunal: Haan, you went back to Shimla without telling us to get the CCTV fotage, and today morning didnt you steal my phone? How did you get the recording without my password?

Siddhi: First of all, I did all this to win this case matlab to save you, so you cant get mad at that. And regarding your password, I have no clue. I gave it to anand for authentication and he got it opened, so you should ask your brother for that.

Kunal: Anand? Did he say about my password?

Siddhi: I'm not interested in your password MR.Chopra, nor was your brother interested in telling me.

Kunal(in mind): Good that he didnt tell

Siddhi looks at Kunal

Kunal: Why are you looking at me? ohh wait, you want to hear something isnt? You want me to praise you for winning this case isnt it?

Siddhi: Every man in your place would do that, but no I didnt expect it from you. Because Kunal Chopra doesnt say Sorry or Thank you to anyone

Kunal: Ayee... last month I said sorry for coming late for Shilpa's wedding shopping( Siddhi smiles at his way of getting back with facts) Since your arrival in this house everyone laughs at me

Siddhi: For that you should thank me, not fight

Kunal: meri maa, I came home just now. Bring me a cup of tea and phir jagada karo

Siddhi: akado! (swiftly runs from there fearing Kunal, but Kunal smiles hearing that from her)

Kunal(pov): She fears me yet never stops coming back at me, ajeeb ladki..

Dinner...

Gaurav: Papa, I got 1 week off from work this week as planned.

Raj: Thanks beta, lets visit Jalandhar wali dadi ji and also the temple.

Gaurav: Haan papa, Also Ishani and Anouki have 15 days to join back school after summer holidays. Seema, do you have any other plan?

Seema: Where will I go leaving you guys? Lets go to Jalandhar

Anand: Shall I also join you papa?

Raj: That is not a question, this trip is for you beta. I'm going to offer my prayers to the god who saved both sons from danger

Kunal: When did you guys plan without me? Papa right now I cant take one week leave, I have few important cases that needs to sorted, they are on hold because of me and I cant take off right now.

Seema: Arey bhaiya, you and Siddhi stay here. We will go visit and come back quickly

Kunal: But, you can take her as well. She hasnt joined her new job yet, why dont you take her as well?

Seema(to siddhi in ears): I'm literally giving him a way to be alone with his wife but he is telling us to take you.

Siddhi(to seema in ears): Bhabi, he will get mad at me. Dont do..

Seema:(to everyone) Shilpa's wedding is around the corner , we cant take Siddhi right now.

Raj: Haan beta,Siddhi needs to help Kapil. And Kunal, dont just work, go visit Kapil and help him beta. He will be doing everything alone

Kunal(agrees) : Haan papa, when are you guys leaving?

Seema: Tomorrow morning

Kunal: But you guys planned it today evening only

Seema: Bhaiya you talk like a new bride leaving her family. We are not leaving you alone, see Siddhi is with you... you understand right?

Kunal: Tu na Seema... ( moves from the place)

Raj:  Siddhi beta, dont take it wrong because we are leaving you alone here. Next year we will all go togather

Siddhi: Papa, why are you explaining all this. I understand you very well

Next day early morning, 6 AM

Siddhi: Bhabi, take this tiffin... and dont forget to put these sweets in fridge as soon as you get home there

Seema: Haan siddhi.  Ticket check, tablets check, purse check...  Did i miss anything?

Siddhi: No bhabi! i will get the bags out

Gaurav: Kunal bhaiya, I need a help. Can you drop this file to Seema's dad whenever you are free?

Kunal: Why should I? I wont go to your father-in-laws house.

Seema: Bhaiya, please naa. Ek baar

Kunal: I'm doing it for only you Seema  ( to set context Kunal and Seema's papa dont go very well with each other)

Seema hugs Kunal

Seema: Thanks bhaiya, Why dont you take Siddhi as well, and you can meet Raveena and Vikram.

Kunal: Aye.. im going to just drop this file with the watchman, nothing more

Gaurav: No bhaiya, yeh thoda confidential. Please.... Please..

Anand: Dont worry Gaurav bhaiya, Kunal bhai wil do

Kunal: Teek hai ( sulks)

Raj: Kunal, ek aur baat. When we are not home, dont scold Siddhi

Kunal: When did I scold her ( Entire family gives him a steep look)

Kunal: teek hai, but I do only when she a mistake ( Again they give a look)

Kunal: Stop looking at me like that. Why dont you take her with you?

Seema: Papa, Now a days Kunal bhaiya has changed. He cares for Siddhi a lot.. isnt it? ( Kunal gives back the same look)

Siddhi: Bhabi! you are getting late for your train. 

Anand: Take care bhaiya and Siddhi...

Kunal: I will drop you guys at Station and will directly leave to office

By afternoon the house looks pretty empty without the family... Siddhi roamed around the entire house passing time. She was accustomed to a busy house hold.

It was 5 pm when Kunal knocked the door

Siddhi: AAp? itni jaldhi!

Kunal: Wont you open the door if I come early? Unlock soon ( Siddhi opens )

Siddhi: Kya hua Kunal?

Kunal: Nothing, I thought you would get bored. This house feels empty without children, Seema, papa.. ( siddhi looks at Kunal lovingly for thinking about her)

Siddhi: So you do worry about me sometimes?

Kunal: When you worry so much about my family and me, why cant I?

Siddhi: Sorry, im just questioning you here, Kunal go and freshup . I will get your tea ready.

Kunal: Sukriya!

Siddhi: Kunal, ek aur baath hai (Kunal nodds to continue). Actually bhaiya asked me for a help, he wants me to get Shilpa's wedding necklace checked and get home if ready. I'll prepare the dinner but can you serve you yourself?

Kunal: Aye, why are you going alone?

Siddhi: bhaiya is not home today, and I dont want to take Shilpa out late..

Kunal: Haan, but im still free na. We can go togather, (pauses) if thats ok with you

Siddhi: (smiles) Thank you, I will make you your chai!!

They  reach the shop where they have to collect the jewel...

Shopkeeper: Madam, this is the design that you asked for.

Siddhi: will this fit properly?

Shopkeeper: Ek baar try karlo madam ji

Siddhi tries to wear and look through the mirror, but the mirror was down. Kunal holds it up like a sales person who would do

He looks at her

Kunal: Is this height fine?

Siddhi: haan,

Kunal: It looks good on you as well  ( siddhi blushes )

Shopkeeper: Sir will be a good husband after marriage madam.

Kunal: Will be? Arey bhai saab, im her husband.

Siddhi collects the jewellery and reaches Shilpa's place around 8 ish

Shilpa: Jiji ( hugs Kunal), come inside.

Kunal: Shilpa, itna weight lose kiya?

Shilpa: Wow jiju, you found it. Kapil bhaiya and Siddhi were saying I dont look even 100gms less. Siddhi did you hear what Kunal jiju said?

Siddhi: Try this jewelery right now, else we will get it re-ordered.

Shilpa tries on the piece

Shilpa: Jiju, Please stay here tonight naa

Siddhi: Arey Shilpa, ghar pe koi nehi hai..

Shilpa: I'm asking jiju, Kunal Jiju please naa, even Kapil bhaiya is not here tonight

Kunal: Teek hai, Siddhi Stay with Shilpa until Kapil reaches home

Shilpa: Please Jiju , please stay with us naa, please. After marriage I will leave and we wont get such opportunity to have fun

Kunal: Teek hai baba, tonight i will stay. Btw you sisters have somehing in common

Siddhi: Kya?

Kunal: Aur kya Ziddh!!

Shilpa: Come lets think about dinner, what do you guys wanna have? I'm gonna order

Siddhi: Why order? I will do

Shilpa: Siddhi! you go and cook in your house, im fed up of eating ghar ka khaana. This is my only chance to eat italian before wedding

Siddhi: Thoda baar dekho!! ( It starts raining)

Kunal: No problem,  If shilpa wants Italian then we have to get her

Siddhi: In this rain? Where will we get it?

Kunal: At home, (hesitates). If you guys dont mind, can I cook?

Shilpa: Wow Jiju, you are super cool. Siddhi, you havent told me that jiju cooks...awww

Siddhi( to herself): Only if he had cooked for me I would know..

Kunal: Kuch bola?

Siddhi : nehi...

They had a quiet dinner as Shilpa was busy chatting with her fiance.

Shilpa: Jiju, don't you speak while eating?

Kunal: No, not like that. But you seemed busy with someone on phone and we decided not  to disturb

Shilpa: I was just instructing Chaitanya to be like you,

Kunal: Like me?

Shilpa: Haan, dashing, and also cooks at home. Siddhi i'm jealous at you.

Siddhi(laughs): jealous?  You should visit our place. He wont move a glass from one side to another side.

Kunal: So you have complaints against me?

Siddhi sits chup chaap

Shilpa: You guys are too cute even when you fight. Chalo, aap log Siddhi room mein rest karo and I will sleep in bhaiya's room

Kunal: Nehi, I will sleep in Kapil's room and you both sleep together

Siddhi: Haan shilpa,

Shilpa: Arey aap dono naa.. I need some privacy. I need to do a video call with Chaitanya, and Kunal Jiju, im not sending you with a ghost, just Siddhi.(winks) You guys can romance in a big room

Kunal: Tu na Shilpa!
