Chapter 10: Kahi Ankahi Baatein

GC and Gang in garden area, where they first saw GG vulnerability. They have reminisced that place, the fun convo before that, the teasing, the comforting everything. They all sit down, when Shekar bhaiya brings them tea.

Rasika: Chachu, are you crying?

GC wiping his tears away: No, just remembering the old days.

Rasika: Chachu aap kitna senti ho? Aap log mujhe batayege ki exactly kahani kya hai?

Yug: Kahani yuh hai ki, they met, they fought, they were broken, they loved and then now again broken, but this time shattered.

Rasika: Matlab???

Ankit: The story starts from jab Ankit aur Khushi ki shaadi thi,hum Dr Riddesh Bhatanagr se mile, Shaadi ka invitation, Anugun ki first meeting ladai se hui.

GC: Us din ki chemistry joh humne dikhi thi, ussi din hum samaj gaye ki inki love story hogi, aur who bhi dhamakedaar.

Yug: Jab bhi yeh dono mile hai chahe ghar poe ho, café mein ho, ya phir uski institute mein ho, unki conversation jhadge se shuru hoti hai aur jhadge pe khatam.

Ankit: Jitna bhi fight kare, care bhi utni hi karta tha anu,chahe who us raat jab use fever tha, ya phir Accident ke raat ya phir woh cut, Anu ke andar GG ke liye Care thi.

Rasika: toh agar itna fight karte the, toh pyaar ka ehsaas kab hua?

Meanwhile the scene shifts to Ridz room, she is showing her fav toys and her drawing of animals, her different dresses, her tiara, her princess dream house like typically 5 year old daughter and Anubhav is just Awed by her, that happiness in her talk, the tears in his eyes which he is trying to hide because this is how he had imagined her daughter to be and she is exactly like that A full carbon copy like her mother. He listens tentatively to everything she says. He missed 5 years of her life and that journey is along one to cover and he needs to be patience with her.

Ridz watches him and sees his tears and she pull his hand and ask him to lower down on his knees and he does and she wipes his tears and he just hugs her and cry, he needed that hugs to let our his emotions because if he kept it inside he would have gone crazy.

Ridz makes him sit next to her and ask: Cool dude, do you not like me?

Anu: No baby, nothing like that I love you and will always do, why did you ask such Question?

Ridz: when I was in Delhi, everyone would ask for my father, but I didn’t answer them and when on father’s day when Mumma use to take me to pastry shop I would see everyone came with their father and even I fair when I was scared of the Ferris wheel, everyone was having a father to take them and they child would not get scared but I had just Mumma.

Anubhav gets too emotional: No baby, nth like that you know papa love us even when he was not with you because love should be felt from heart and sometime, we cannot show it. Love can be in any form like I use to talk to this, he takes her childhood pic and hold it for her and say “whenever I was happy, sad or whenever I feel I need to tell you something I use to talk to this”

Ridz Quickly goes to her bedsides and gets his frame and shows it to him, it’s the photo of GG and Anubhav together from his birthday in Mumbai (imagine any cute pictures of theirs): Mumma gave me this whenever I asked about my father and told me to tell how my days was and how much I missed you, and Mumma said you will get the message.

Anubhav Smiles at her: I am sorry I was not with you and mumma when you were born, and I am sorry for not being with you whenever you needed me. Did Mumma tell you about me?

Ridz: yes, mumma told me you were a best son, a best brother, a loving person. She also told me about all the family members in your house. Mumma also told me that you and mumma had a fight so that is why mumma and you do not stay together. Cool dude, when we make mistake, we say sorry and shakes hands, why did you not do this with Mumma?

A: Because papa made a big mistake of not trusting mumma and so how many ever sorry I say to her, she would not forgive me and when we make mistake we get punish right? So, think this is my punishment. Sorry aap Papa ki punishment ke wajah se unse dur rehna pada.

R: Ab aap mumma ko sorry bol do, woh aapko maaf kar degi?

A: maybe, shayad par papa unki punishment puri kareje. Aap papa se gussa toh nahi ho na?

Ridz think for some time and then smiles, she hugs her father and say: No, not so much as mumma, but a little I am angry.

A: Sorry, okay aapse ek baat puchu aap mujhe cool dude kyun bolna chahte ho papa kyun nahi?

R: Kyunki Mumma kehti hai who mumma baad mein hai pehle dost hai so mein use kabhie kabhie GG bulsati hu aur woh mujhe nani maa isliye  aap mere dost hai, papa nahi

A: Matlab?

R: matlab papa na golu dadu jaise hote hai, mumma jab sad hoti thi toh Golu dadu uske saath hamesha hote the, aur use hasate the. Aap nahi the, isliye sirf dost hai, Mein aapko papa tab kahuji jab aap mere saare test mein pass ho jaayoge.

A: okay, I will wait, I can wait my whole life for you to say papa, so papa will pass every test of us. Till then Aap cool dude bula sakte ho.

R: okay, done deal so now hum dost hai aapko mein apna handshake bhi sikha sakti hu.

Shifting back to the garden.

GC: yeh toh woh hi jaane, par Dr Riddesh ne humse kaha tha ki GG kabhie apne emotions ko words mein nahi daal sakti thi, par sangeet waleraat woh hurt bahut hui thi. Anubhav bhi hurt tha, par shayad hum dekh nahi  paaye kyunki hum Anu se gussa the ki usne Akriti ke saath move on kar diya.

Yug: hume toh yeh tak nahi pata tha ki Anu hi GG ka pati hai jab who sindoor ke saath Anu aur Akriti ke shaadi mein aayi thi, woh toh hume Dr Riddhesh ke death ke baad pata chala.

Ankit: Aur jab Anu ko pyaar ka ehsaas hua toh bahut der ho chuki thi shayad par kisne socha tha ki joh insaan apne parivaar se itna pyaar karta hai woh apne pyaar ke liye us parivaar ke liye ladega.

Yug: par shayad itna nahi lad paaya kyunki agar hota toh hum aaj yaha nahi hote.

Rasika: Meine socha na tha ki papa aisa kar sakte the, Do pyaar karne walo ko separate kiya aur woh bhi us Akriti ke liye.

GC: galati Anu ki bhi thi, humne use bahut kaha ki GG aise nahi hai, par phir bhi use laga ki who RV se shaadi karne wali thi, woh toh wahi kar rahi thi joh bade bhaiye ne use kaha tha.

Ankit: Ek baat batao Di, kya GG nahi janti Anu aur Akriti ke divorce ke baare mein.

Rasika: Nahi, na usne puch na hi humne kuch bataya . Garima Bua ko pata hai par usne bhi nahi bataya. GG ne bhi bahut kuch badla hai apni life mein, Business study kiya, help li aur success ki seedhi chadne lagi, she became emotionless, ruthless and has so much anger in her eyes, but at the end of the she becomes that GG who was once her father’s princess. She doesn’t show but we know she cries for Anubhav; she craves for his love but she can’t accept the fact that she is still affected by his presence or absence coz of the wall she built and its going to take a long time for Anubhav to get that wall down.

GC: anu ka bhi yahi halat hai, who sirf Champ ke saath ya phir humse baat karta hai, aur kisise nahi. Gharwalo se jitna kaam utna hi.Work to home and that’s all his life is about. Aur shayad woh yeh haq kho chuka hai ki woh ab maafi bhi mange?

In living room: GG was getting restless as to what Anubhav and Ridz are talking about, even she was physically present with bua And champ her mind was somewhere else. Bua sees her and puts her hand on hers and ask her to calm down.

Bua: Kya hua? Tu hi chahti thi na who privately baat kare toh itni tension mein kyun hai tu?

GG: I dnt know, I am growing restless that’s all.

Champ: Aap ko mein kya bulayu? He ask looking at both of them

GG: Aap Inko Dadi Bua bol sakte ho jaise Ridz bolti hai, aur aap mujhe kya bula sakte ho…. Hmmmm let me think

Champ: Aap bahut pretty hai, toh mein apko beautiful bula sakta hu.

GG laughs and say: Sure why not, Thank you Ab chalo icecream khate hai, par papa ko mat batana okay?

They get up and go to the kitchen and she makes him sit on  the island table and goes to the freezer and gets ice cream for him, he takes it happily and starts eating

Champ: aap bahut sweet hai, pata hai chachu bhi mujhe aise hi ice cream khilate hai. Ridz Chachu ki daughter hai na?

GG: yes, aur woh apki behen hai toh ab aap aur ridz fight nahi karoje na?

C: no, kabhie kabhie kareje par who meri sister hai na to use protect bhi mein hi karuja.

GG: That’s like a good champ, now give me a Hi-Fi, She playes with her for a while and she becomes like a child with him and Bua gets happy seeing her like that.

Ridz room:

R: aaj bua ne mujhe kaha ki aap mere tree ke branch ho and apke side wale branch mein bahut saare leaves hai, toh mujhe bhi unse milna hoga. Mein Golu dadu, ankit chachu aur Yug Chachu se roz baatein karti hu, par baaki sabse kabhi nahi ki hai.

Anubhav was lost in his thought because whatever it maybe uska parivaar Ridz ka kuch lagta hai, Aur agar in sab nafrat ki aaj mein inka Rishta jal gaya toh? Kya hoga. Ridz shakes him up,

A: Agar aap unse milna chahti hi toh Mumma aur mein kuch soch sakte hai, lekin agar sirf chahe toh, koi force nahi hai aap pe? Okay.

R: Agar woh mujhe hate toh nahi kareje na? kyunki woh mumma ko hate karte hai na, isliye mujhe bhi kiya toh?

A: aisa kuch nahi hoga, papa hai na apke saath hmmmm. Ab chale bahut der ho gayi hai aur aapke sone ka time bhi ho raha hoga hai na?

R: aaj Friday hai na, toh abhi thoda time hai par hum neeche jaa sakte hai, mujhe champ ke saath khelna hai.

A: okay chalo

and she starts to race down, and reaches the kitchen where champ is and she also sits on the osland and have Ice cream with Champ. Anubhav sees GG smiles after a long time, but as soon as she sees him, she goes back to her angry mode. Anubhav keeps his head down and go towards GB.

A: Bua, I know aap mujhse Gussa hai, par kya aap mujhe kabhie maaf nahi kareji.

GB: Maaf karna chahti toh hu, Par jab bhi sochti hu tumhe maaf karne ka toh muhje GG ka woh phase yaad aata hai jab use tumhari zarurat thi pregnancy ke time pe aur tum nahi the, woh pal yaad aata hai jab woh raat bhar jag kar office ka kaam aur Ridz ko sambalti thi aur tum nahi the, Meri beti kya thi aur ab kya ho gayi hai yeh tumne khud dekha hai. Who 5 saal wali GG nahi hai jisse tumne pyaar kiya, who Ek machine ban gayi hai, jisse harna pasand nahi hai, lekin is jeet ki ruthlessness mein bhi woh bina kahe saaree mployers ke baare mein sochti hai?

Anubhav feels Ashamed because he is the reason for her how she is today: sorry Bua, agar ho sake toh mujhe maaf karne ki koshish zarur kijiyega and folds his hand to her.

Garima Bua is about to say something when GC gang and Rasika di enters laughing, Seeing the seriousness GC ask but Anu just smiles at them. They take permission and they leave from the Bhatnagar mansion.

Next Morning at RNH As GG is entering in the hospital, she spots Anubhav working with the investigating team. She closes her eyes and pray to god “God , aaj please iss khadus Kulshreshth ki wajah se mera mood off na ho?” she folds her hands and shakes her head, aaj sambhal lena. As soon as she opens her eyes he is standing in front of him, she gets a bit scared and jumps backwards

Anu: Kya hua? Bhoot dekh liya kya?

GG: tum bhoot se kaam thodi na ho? Aise Achanak se samne aa gaye toh dar laga. She looks up to god and say “kya bhagwan, ek baar toh meri sun lete, abhi pray kiya tha, isko ajeeb jaanwar ko samne lake khada kar diya?”

Confused by her actions and face expression, he too looks up to see what she is seeing and looking at. Anu: oh hello, kya kar rahi tum? Are you well? Why are you looking up and making faces?

GG: tum ek saans mein kitne sawaal puchte ho? Anyways mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni hai toh excuse me.

Anu: Ajeeb ho, pehle kaam pe rakhti ho, aur jab kaam ki baat karni hoti hai, kehti ho ki mujhe times baat nahi karni? Agar aisa hi tha toh mujhe yaha bulaya kyun?

GG: Tum kaam ki baat karna chahte ho? Toh karo, hmmmm kyahua?

Anubhav is hella confused as he can get: Okaaaayyy, we have finish testing this material and this was the reason the fire started but one thing is that someone deliberately installed this so that the spark and the overload will coz this to ignite, when we were testing this in lab, it took too many trails and errors to get this work, but this didn’t so however caused the start of the fire have a lot of knowledge an background in thermodynamics.

GG: Thank you, so much for your help. Anything else I know you want to ask the question which Ridz asked you but I am not ready to give the answer yet, please.

Anu: No, nothing that’s all.

GG starts to walk from there when Anubhav’s monologue starts“nautanki, faces toh aise bana rahi thi, jaise meri shakal hi nahi dekhni hai,pagal pehle kaam pe rakhti hai aur baat nahi sunti aur kya ajeeb weird faces bana rahi thi, aaj bhi wohi GG ho tum, bas dikhati nahi ho, aur mein janta hu kyun? Aur mein yeh bhi janta hu, ki tum mujhe wapas aaj bulaoji zarur. Dekhte hai tumahra jawab kya hota hai?

GG enters her office and ask Raashi to make her a drink, Raashi is taken back and surprised because the GG who doesn’t ask for a drink in work time, wants a drink?

Raashi: tum theek toh ho? Tum aaj drink maang rahi ho, woh bhi work hours mein? Sab theek hai na?

GG: yaar, tum use chant chashmish ki tarah itne saare Question kyun puch rahi ho ek saath?

Raashi: Chant Chashmish?

GG: Dr Anubhav Kulshreshth, Aaj bhagwan se ek cheez mangi thi, ki us kahdus ko mere samne mat lana aur Bhagwan toh bhagwan, laake mere samne khada kar diya. I swear Bhagwan she says, while looking up Aap mere saath hi aisa kyun karte ho.

Raashi laughs and says: Chill, I will get you something cold to calm your anger. But while do I have a feeling that’s not the reason you angry with him.

Raashi hands her the Drink, GG takes the drink and looks at Raashi because she knows that nothing can be hidden from Raashi.

Flashback: After dinner when everyone leaves GG goes to Ridz room and ask her everything that she has said and asked and how does she feel right now.

Ridz: I want to meet Cool Dude family.

That sentences shocked GG, and she stood still not facingher, YOU WANT TO DO WHAT????? She got a bit angry, but seeing her frightening face she calmed down, and went and sat next to her.

GG: Are you sure, you want to meet them?

Ridz: Yes, I want to see them once, mumma you said whatever I decide we will do so I asked cool dude to ask you if he can take me there to meet them.

GG: Fine, can I get time to think about it?

Ridz: okay. She kisses her cheeks and hugs her.

GG: okay, go change and off to bed now.

Meanwhile in the car, Champ is asleep and Anubhav is a bit disturbed and seeing his worrying face GC gang ask him

Anu: Chachu, meeting toh theek thi, par usne kuch maanga hai mujhse.

GC: matlab?

Anu: chachi woh, chahti hai ki mein Gungun se baat karu ya permission lu, shanti niwas aake sabhi parivaar se milne ke liye.

Ankit brakes so suddenly and stops his car and looks at him, with shocked face.

Ankit: Ridz gharwalo se milna chahti hai?

Yug; Aur tune use kya kaha?

Anu: Maine kaha ki mein Gungun se baat karuga.

GC: Aur tuhje lagta hai ki Gungun Ridz ko hamare parivaarwalo se milne ki permission degi, woh parivaar jiski wajah se woh tumse dur gayi ya us parivaar se jisse tum baat nahi karte ho.

Anu: Isi baat ki toh tension hai, ki mein gungun se baat kaise karu iske baare mein. Chachu meri beti ne mujhse pehli baar kuch manga hai aur mujhe samaj nahi aa raha ki mien kya karu?

Everyone looks worried in car and GG is worried in her room  Screen freezes.
