Maan is shocked..

Who is this anonymous caller?

How does she know Geet? She knows about Maan too?

How did she get his no?

What does she want?

Is this anything about Geet’s past?

Something to do with that Anika?

A lot of thoughts flash in his mind at the same time, anything about Geet scares him to the core, he loves her so much and has gotten used to her company to the extent that it’s now impossible to stay away from her even for a few days….

Owing to Geet’s habit of getting into trouble whenever she is away from him, he is constantly worried about her and that makes him think about everything negative…

Maan: but, she called me this morning, she was fine

Lady: it’s something very serious, this matter should remind within us

Maan: May I know who you are?

Lady: I’m a Dr, a gynecologist to be more specific

Maan takes this lady seriously once she revealed her profession…

Maan: what’s the matter Dr? How do you know Geet?

Dr: Geet came to my clinic today

Maan: why? Is there something wrong with Geet? I mean, any health issues that I didn’t know?

Dr: she is physically good, but the problem is different

The Dr pauses…. But Maan is losing his patience….

Maan: what is it Dr? Tell me

Dr: Your wife wants to undergo sterilization

Maan can’t believe what he just heard…

Maan: what? Why?

Lady: she is confused, she said that someone died during delivery and that she doesn’t want that to happen with her too, I don’t understand why she didn’t talk to you

Maan: I’m sorry Dr, it’s my fault too, I should have been more careful, but I didn’t know she had such fears

Lady: it might be psychological, anyways she needs your help more than anyone else’s right now

Maan: where is she now? Shall I talk to her?

Lady: I think you should talk to her in person, I have asked her to come for the admission tomorrow, but I don’t think she understands what she is doing, I need to talk to you about this

Maan: I’ll be there tomorrow morning

Maan gets the address from that lady doctor…

Maan thinks about telling her Sameera’s story that day.. he didn’t know that it would have such an impact on her..

Next morning Maan is at the nursing home waiting for Geet to come…

Maan can’t think of any sane reason for this drastic decision of Geet….

Maybe the story of Sameera scared her like the doctor thinks…

Geet was repeatedly saying that she would never leave Maan alone, and that whatever happens she would be there for him till his last breath… she didn’t say till her last breath…

What a stupid thought that she would also end up like Sameera?

What does she think of herself? There is a limit to her stupidity… and this is unacceptable….

Maan can’t find Geet at the clinic…

He is scared that she would be in some kind of danger….

Did something happen to her?

Did she take some crappy pills?

There is every reason that Geet would do anything stupid for her stupid brain is known for taking instant foolish decisions….

Maan goes to the reception and inquires about his wife Geet Khurana…

Receptionist: who are you? How do you know Mrs. Geet?

Maan: I’m Mr.Khurana, she is my wife, now tell me where she is? Is she fine? What happened to her? What have you people done to her? Why can’t I see my wife? What’s wrong with you people? I’ll sue everyone if something happens to Geet, I need to see her now

Maan vents his frustrations and anger on that poor soul who has no clue what’s happening….

Rec: but sir, you have mistaken, Mrs.Khurana is not here

Maan: what? But the Dr said she would be here only

Rec: Dr ma’am is waiting for you only, you please wait, Dr ma’am is in the labour room and she'll be back in a few minutes

Maan has no other go but to wait there…

Maan looks around… it’s a maternity clinic…

Some expecting mother’s are also waiting there to see the Dr….

One young mother is in labour…

Her family is anxiously waiting outside….

Maan could easily relate to their position…

The girl’s father is desperately trying to get some updates about his daughter’s well being….he runs to every nurse and asks them about his daughter…

One nurse patiently tries to calm that old man…

Nurse: papaji, she is fine, Dr ma’am is with her, it’s just a delivery, every day girls deliver here, and they are all fine and happy with their kids, you are unnecessarily worried, look at that girl with the baby, she delivered two days back and is ready to go home with her boy, see how happy shecis, you too will be a proud dadaji

Maan keeps watching them…

He is relieved that the people here are very caring and so Geet should be safe….

Suddenly the Dr is seen talking to the girl’s husband, he is very young, the girl must be even younger…

That boy is ignorant of what’s happening and nods his head for everything the Dr says .. .

He reminds Maan about the younger version of himself, back at the time of Mansi’s birth…

They rush the girl to the OP…

The father is helpless and really scared… the mother is praying every God she knows…

Maan automatically prays for that girl ….

Maan is reminded of the past, when under the same circumstances he lost Sameera…

But that was a very very rare case, Sameera already had some heart condition that lead to the mishap… still Maan’s mind can’t stop thinking about the chances of saving her had he been a little more aware then, now he has mastered the whole process, he could become a Dr himself…

This is a normal case, and they have opted C-section to avoid any risk…

Within minutes the baby is born, they forget everything in a second and are so happy to welcome the newborn. It’s a girl, just like Mansi….

Maan was more worried than that girl’s family and he is very happy that the girl is fine, if he is so much worried about an unknown girl, what would happen if it were Geet?

But this Geet doesn’t understand anything and is always testing him with such things that scare the hell out of him…

She is the only one who could do this to the sher, the otherwise mighty Maan Singh Khurana….

The Dr is back….

The Dr wants to talk to Maan before Geet comes…

Maan goes and meets the Dr…

Maan: good morning Dr

Dr: so you are Mr.Khurana ?

The Dr raises her head and takes a look at him….

Maan: where is Geet? How is she?

Dr: so you are worried about your wife now?

Maan: what?

Dr: what were you doing all these days?

Maan: I don’t know what you are talking about

Dr: Mr.Khurana, as I said your wife came to me with a request that no girl has ever made, I’ve only seen girls coming to me crying that they want to become a mother somehow, but your wife doesn’t want to become a mother, that’s not something normal, you should know about your wife better, or is it that you don’t care about her much?

Maan: I’m afraid that I have to admit that it’s as much a shocker to me as much as it’s for you

Dr: when did you last see your wife?

Maan: what? We are good, there’s nothing wrong with us, she has come to visit her family and I don’t know what’s happening here

Dr: I think you need to talk to your wife, like a friend

Maan: I don’t understand what’s wrong with Geet?

Dr: it happens, people get scared sometimes

Maan: but Geet is not the scary type

Dr: I didn’t call you to give you this information, there is something more that you should know

Maan gets more worried. . his life is full of complications…

Maan: now you are scaring me Dr

Dr: I have another news for you

Maan: has Geet turned crazy? Is that what you want to tell?

Dr: not yet, but she will if she doesn’t get proper help

Maan: what’s wrong with her?

Maan is really worried that it’s something about Geet…..
