Geet wants to get married sooner and so is Dadi….

Though Maan accepted Geet’s love he can’t marry her now…

He wants to solve all the problems related to his past before welcoming Geet in his life….

Dadi wanted Darji to get ready for the marriage as Maan has accepted..

But knowing about the sagayi fiasco Darji calls Geet to know the reality…

Darji: Geet, ye Dadima kya keh rahe hai puthar?

Geet is so excited…

Geet: dadi ne aapse baat kar li? Bahut achche Dadima

Darji is happy to know that Geet is happy… sure Maan must have said yes to go ahead with the wedding this time…

But still he wants to confirm it without any doubts…

Darji: tumne Maanji se baat kiya haina?

Geet: ji Darji

Geet’s enthusiasm vanishes in a second….

Darji senses that from her voice itself…

Darji: Geet, mein bhi Maanji se ek bar baat karna chahta hoon

Geet doesn’t want to trouble Maan again and again…

He has accepted her love but needs time to accept his love for some reason… she should respond that…

Geet: nahi Darji, aap ko baat karna nahi padega

Darji: kyun puthar?

Geet: Maan abhi bhi wahi jawab denge

Darji: toh mein kya karoon?

Geet: aap dadi se kehdo ki meri padayi pehle katam ho

Darji: ji puthar, par aap kush toh haina?

Geet: mein bahut kush hoon Darji

Why not? Maan comes to meet her every week, mostly on weekdays, when he visits the site…

He takes her out for dinner… he keeps talking and chatting with her on the mobile…

He has become the perfect boyfriend… or maybe he tries to be one for Geet’s sake, to keep her happy….

Maan is trying his best to compromise for the delay in the wedding….

Geet doesn’t complain as long as he responds to her love positively…

Time flies and it’s almost two months since the confession, not really on Maan’s part, but still he has accepted her love…

It’s time for her to leave the hostel and go home…

The trouble is Geet wants to go to Delhi, it’s not possible for they are not even engaged…

Geet has completed her course and she is not happy to go back to Hoshiarpur… .

She wants to be Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana as soon as possible and share Maan’s responsibilities…

She thinks that his daughter is with someone else since he can’t take care of her on his own and there is no one else in his family who can take care of a toddler….

That’s why Geet asks her parents to fix the marriage date even before a year as Maan has said….

Moreover now that she is in Hoshiarpur, there is no chance of him coming or meeting her…

And our Romeo is still in Romeo-Juliet ages, he seldom shows his romantic interest even on the phone and he is not a typical lover boy indulging in sweet talk or pampering her or even express his love with an “I love you”…

Its almost like a one sided love affair just from Geet’s side…

Except a couple of occasions he has maintained his limits of friendship carefully…

Even after accepting her proposal, he has not changed…

He has not even tried to be more friendly, let alone getting closer or showing any kind of other interest in her… .

What is really in his mind is still a mystery….

It is as if he is doing this only for Geet….

She is happy that he agreed for the marriage… he has been a great friend, yeah, more than a friend but never crossed the limits…

But she doesn’t trust him much, there is still something big that is troubling him, he is not in control of his feelings… it’s like he is restricting himself, it’s some sort of a lakhman rekha that he has drawn for himself which he is scared to cross… Geet has to pull him to her side in one go, she can’t take chances believing his words,that he needs more time to cross it on his own…

Geet has got addicted to his company so much that it looks impossible for her to stay away from him even if it’s for a few days….

The Handas discuss about it with Dadima....

Now that Geet’s course is completed there is no reason for Maan to postpone the marriage further….

Dadi is so happy that Maan has agreed to marry Geet which is something too huge for her to believe… and the lame excuse of Geet’s studies is also invalid now…

She also wants the marriage to happen sooner for she doesn’t want to give Maan time to think much and change his decision…

Dadi knows that Maan is capable of doing anything after seeing him so confused in the last few months…

First he was mad at her for suggesting remarriage as soon as he lost his wife…

Then he reluctantly agreed to meet Geet, just to prove that Dadi is wrong in pushing him to take up another huge responsibility thinking that she is only trying to leases his burden… little does she know that marriage would only double his trouble…

After meeting Geet, Maan was convinced with Dadi’s decisions of a remarriage, but postponed the marriage for a year.. .dadi got suspicious after that…

And she was right… after giving false promises to the poor girl and evoking her desires unnecessarily, he backed off saying that it’s impossible for him to marry anyone again….

Now after so much drama, he has agreed to marry her with a half-heart and again the same old story of postponing it further….

They have to use the chance and get them married before his fickle mind changes again…

Dadi tells Maan that it’s time for marriage as the Handas are getting impatient and losing their trust… they are worried about the uncertainty of their daughter’s future…

Maan is adamant that nothing is possible before at least 6 months and that they can get their daughter married to someone else if they don’t trust him… he strongly believes that Geet trusts him even if his own dadi doesn’t…

Dadi then tells him that they can make a deal by doing the engagement immediately and wait for the marriage…

That way they will be at least happy that Maan is really committed to marry their daughter…

Geet also tells Maan that she can’t stay away from him completely like this, and she can’t visit Delhi like she uesd to for now she is not in hostel anymore where Maan could easily meet her and take her out.. she is in a conservative village of Hoshiarpur now… they won’t let her go to Delhi before they are at least engaged… . .

She tells him that they can get engaged so that she can freely visit KM now and then as usual and then she can wait for the marriage forever….

Maan thinks that he too can’t stay away from her totally like this ..

Dadi cleverly convinces Maan that it would be a very very simple ceremony strictly within the two families…

Maan agrees to that thinking that they won’t pester him to get married sooner then… by doing this he can put an end to this matter temporarily and concentrate on resolving the issues from his past peacefully…
