At the dabha…

Happy Singh who recognises Geet is really happy to see her back…

Happy: oye puthar, welcome back puthar, hare koi ladu lao

He celebrates her come back like his own victory…

He cares for Geet just like a father…. He was genuinely worried for her…

He then sees Maan with suspicion… .

Happy: ye banda kaun hai puthar?

Geet: ye mera friend hai

Happy: friend? Ye yahan ka toh nahi lagtha?

Geet: Delhi se hai

Happy: family friends hai kya?

Geet: aaisa hi kuch hai

Happy: oye friendji, tum Geet ko kab se jaanthe hi?

Maan: do din se

Happy: mein isko do saal se jaantha hoon, meri beti se kabhi panga mat lena

Happy keeps staring Maan as if to threaten him to stay away from Geet…

Maan can’t believe that he is being looked upon like some pervert…

Maan doesn’t like his attitude…

Maan looks annoyed…

He doesn’t want to talk to him for fear of getting into trouble…

Happy: Geet puthar, tum isse savdhaan rehna

Geet: haan papaji, pehle issko hummari mirchiwali murghi dena, phir ye line pe aayega

Happy: chotu, iss bande ko tantoori murghi lana

He winks to signal chotu to raise the spice level…

The chicken arrives and Maan who is not used to eating spicy food burns his mouth…

Geet understands his plight and gives him the lassi to drink…

Maan hates curd… he rufuses to drink that…

Maan: mujhe lassi pasand nahi hai Geet

Geet: meine kab kaha ye aap ka pasand ka hai, pehle piyo, phir baat karthe hai

Maan: Geeeet, I’ve had enough, come lets go

Geet: aap kya bachon jaise zidd karthe ho?

Geet tries to hold his nose….

Maan: ye kya kar rahi ho?

Geet: aap apne aankh aur naak band karo aur isse pijao

Maan: I can’t

Geet forcefully feeds him the lassi by holding his head…

Maan drinks it and instantly feels the relief from the burning sensation….

Happy: puthar, tum isse dhoor rehna, mujhe ispe barosa hi nahi

Geet laughs….

Geet: ye utna bhi bhura nahi hai

Happy: ye kahan se aagaya?

Geet: hare papaji, ye mere mangetar hai

Geet looks at Maan and winks…

Happy: hare, damadji aaye hai, hare chotu, hummare damadji aaye hai, koi music lagao bhai

Bhangra music plays and every one dances bangra to welcome Maan…

Even Geet shakes a leg to the tune…

Maan keeps looking at her in amusement…

Its been Maanhs since Maan had a good laugh like this…

He is happily enjoying every moment he is with Geet, though he is completely unaware of the fact that her company has worked like magic, in turning his otherwise somber world upside down…

Maan drops off Geet at her hostel and leaves for Delhi…

Back in Delhi….

Dadi couldn’t believe that Maan has said yes to the relationship…

Dadi is eager to meet that girl who has accomplished the impossible mission of wooing Maan…

Dadi has passed on the good news to Annie and she is so happy for Maan…

Annie calls Maan…

Annie: congrats Maan

Maan: toh tumme bhi patha chal gayi?

Annie: dadi just called to inform me

Maan: I know dadi should be busy spreading the news

Annie: nahi, dadi is just sharing her happiness

Maan: I’m yet to get a call from dadi though

Annie: maybe she is waiting for you to give the good news to her

Maan: how did I forget to tell her ?

In fact Maan deliberately avoided talking to Dadima ….

Maan didn’t feel like sharing the fake news to dadi…

He thought it would be better if he didn’t tell her the lie himself..

He knows dadi would have anyhow got the news…

He is a little relieved that he has saved himself from at least one guilty feeling of lying to dadi…

Maan: hwz Vivaan and Revan?

Those are Annie’s sons, the elder is 6 yrs old and the younger is 3

Annie: Vivaan wants to wish his mama

Maan: I know, I already got his message on whatsapp

Vivaan typed the message “ congrats mama for finding mami” from Annie’s mobile..

Annie: he always steals my mobile

Maan: don’t encourage him to use it Annie

Annie: but he is uncontrollable

Maan: don’t blame him for your carelessness

Annie: you try to babysit him for a day, then you will know my struggles , hare Vivaan chodo usse, bye Maan, got to go

Maan: bye Annie

Dadi is anxiously waiting for Maan…

Maan goes to meet Dadi straight away…

Maan: halo dadi

Dadi pretends to be asleep…

Maan: I think you don’t care about your potha anymore, that’s why I don’t want to get married, I don’t need anyone when I have got my dear dadi, maybe I should rethink about this shadi, haina dadi?

Dadi: hare Maan, aaise kuch mat karo aap

Dadi knows very well that Maan has said yes for the wedding either by mistake or by some compulsion, and he would be waiting for every opportunity to call off this wedding…

Maan couldn’t lie through his tooth in front of dadi…

Maan: dadi I don’t know if I have done the right thing or not

Dadi: don’t you ever think like that again Maan, you have made the best decision, it’s for the good of you and everyone else

Maan: I hope so

Maan thinks that maybe this is for a good cause, he is in a way happy that he could be of some kind of help for that poor girl…

Dadi: I know for sure that Geet is the one for you, or else you would have never changed your mind

Maan: ok dadi, I’ve to go to KC, I have a meeting that’s postponed, thanks to that silly girl

Maan is in a hurry as always… he has used his work as a means to keep himself busy to escape from his personal grief…

Dadi: haan, thanks to Geet, Maan, you are really lucky to have found her, I hope she can bring back the happiness to KM

Maan gets ready and goes to KC..

Adi is waiting for Maan…

Adi: good morning sir

Maan: good morning Adi

Adi: Mr.Khanna is on his way sir, Sasha is ready with the presentations in the conference hall

Maan: good, let me know when Mr.Khanna is here

Maan goes to his cabin…

He goes through the files on his table…

Adi has submitted the files about the latest tender calls from the government side…

One project catches Maan’s eyes…

Its something in Chandigarh…

It’s not the project that interests Maan but the place where the project is situated…

KC has already submitted their quote for that tender and there is a high chance that they will be getting the project…

Maan is double minded if he wants to get that tender…

He is not sure if he would be happy visiting Chandigarh often…

That would mean unwanted reminders about that girl and about his hasty decision to make up that crap plan just to help that girl…

Maan still can’t understand why he did something utterly foolish like that…

This is the first time that MSK is doubtful about his actions…

He is a perfectionist known to make very practical, rational and fool proof plans in his life…

This time he is fooled by that Geet’s nautanki…

Adi just comes to inform that the client is here…

Maan goes to attend the meeting…

He is just present there physically while his mind is still thinking about Chandigarh…

After a successful meeting without any contribution from MSK everyone is surprised to see their boss lost in personal life for the first time…

This is not the first time that Maan has faced turbulence in his life but he has learnt to keep them away from work…

But this is connected to work… so that’s a first time for MSK…

Maan calls Adi to discuss if they could anyway withdraw their bid from that project..

Adi: sir, are you talking about the Chandigarh housing project?

Maan: yes

Adi: that’s something we have been waiting for, it’s a huge one sir

Maan: I know

Adi: but sir we just got a mail that we have been shortlisted along with Mehta’s for that project, and going by the recent scandal at the Mehta’s they would be out of this project and we will be getting it

Maan: what?

Adi: we are just a step away from official confirmation, our people have already started examining the site sir, I had messaged you the details and I thought you might have visited the site on your way back from Hoshiarpur sir

Maan was totally off for the past two days… he didn’t even check the office messages

Maan: ok Adi, I’ll look into it

Now there is no way to back off it seems…

Maan decides that he would send Adi to that site instead..

For the next couple of days Maan Gets busy in his work and forgets about Geet completely…..
