Geet is getting impatient…

Maan is deliberately eating slowly for he won’t want to part with his precious company soon…

Geet finally decides to speak…

Geet: woh, aap wapas kyun nahi gaye?

Maan: tum chathi thi ki wapas chalein jaoon?

Maan is a little disappointed..

Geet is quick to recognize that he didn’t expect such a question, that too from her…

Geet: mera matlab, aap ko gussa nahi aaya?

Maan: kis baat pe?

Geet: meine subha gusse mein appko kitna kuch kaha? Agar Darji ya Brij ke samne meine aaisa gussa kiya toh ussi waqt mein mar kathi hothi

Maan is surprised to hear that… aaisa bhi hotha hai kya? He can’t believe that, now he understands that Ranno’s fears and concern are not exaggerated like he thought..

Now he wants to help Geet at any cost, even if she is not happy with that…. He doesn’t know why he is worried about her more than necessary, he is not here to make any relationship, then why?

Maan actually likes Geet for her never to budge rebellious attitude…

He likes the way she takes a stand for herself at any adverse situation and is not influenced by outside factors… specially, she is not looking for support from anyone, she believes that she is in control of her life and not the others… that’s why she is not ready to accept his help…

Maan: phir bhi tum darthi hi nahi?

Maan is impressed….

Geet: mein kyun daroongi jab mein galat nahi hoon?

Maan: toh phir yahan kaise aana padha?

Maan unintentionally insults her pride, but realizes his blunder instantly….

Maan: I’m happy that you had the big heart to bring my food, I was really starving, I definitely owe you for this

Geet is again shocked, Maan is different from any other man, he doesn’t boast his supremacy, he feels bad when he pointed out her weakness.. actually he is not proclaiming to be the savior, he is seeking her permission to help her!!!

Any other guy would have gone his way forgetting everything in a second, but he is really concerned about her..

Maan: tell me, what can I do to repay this much needed dinner?

Geet: you already know

Maan is happy that she gave him an opportunity to do something good…

He is not going to make her beg for help, which she won’t…

Maan: ok, chalo, tumme ghar chodtha hoon, kal aake sabse baat karoonga

Geet: mein chali jaoongi

Maan: agar rashthe mein kuch hotha toh tum kahogi ki mere wajhe se tumme itne raat ko bahar aana padha, aur aaisa ho gaya, ye sochke mein chain se sotha kya?

Geet ko Maan ke saath jaana hi padha…

She is silent this time… she is still unable to believe that someone could be so kind and helpful, that too without expecting anything in return…

Geet goes and tells Ranno that Maan agreed to come in the morning and he also came to drop her…

Ranno is so relieved and sleeps peacefully without the worry of her daughter’s future…

Next day Maan makes a surprise visit that too without Munshiji…

Darji is happy to see him back, maybe Dadi has advised him..

Geet gets him the black coffee, perfectly made to his taste by her own hands…

Darji and the others are waiting for Maan’s reply..

Maan: aap ko patha hai ki mein yahan kyun aaya hoon, mujhe Geet bahut pasand hai, mujhe ye rishta manzoor hai, par ek shard hai

Ranno looks worriedly at him…

Maan: usse pehle mein Geet se baat karna chahta hoon

How could Maan miss another chance to meet Geet alone?

Now no one is bothered about Maan meeting Geet alone, it’s the other way round, they are afraid that Geet would do some drama knowing about their previous encounter on the terrace alone…

This time Geet is hesitant, what’s more to talk about, that too in private?

Maan leads as Geet follows him cautiously…

As soon as they reach the terrace…

Geet: abhi kya baat karna hai?

Maan himself doesn’t know what he wants to talk…

Maan manages quickly…

Maan: tumme college jaana haina?

Geet: haan, par woh toh kal hi aap ne bathadiya haina? Aap ko ab, mujhse nahi, Darjhi se baat karna hai, shadhi abhi nahi hoga, mere padayi ki badh hoga

Geet tries to remind him if at all he has forgotten….

Maan: mujhe patha hai, ab mein apne aap aaisa kahoonga toh sab ko shak ho jayega, ab tumse baat karke bathaoon toh sab ko lagega ki meine ye shard tummare liye hi rakha hai

Geet: haan, par aap kyun mera madat karna chahte ho?

Geet really wants to know the reason…

Maan too doesn’t know why he is hell bound to help her and keep her smile in tact…

Maan: I don’t know, I like your fighting spirit, your like your “never say die attitude”, i am a little jealous of that, I want you to emerge victorious just for that, I think I could learn a lot from you, I think you are much stronger than me

Geet looks at herself and his biceps bulging out of his sleeves….

Maan: I didn’t mean this, you are mentally strong

Geet likes his compliment, not the typical you are so beautiful, like karina, katrina, Deepika and who else? Halo, every girl is beautiful in her own way… thank God Maan is not like other men…

Geet: thanks, I think girls need to be mentally strong to fight their physically strong counterpart

Maan looks at his biceps and is not so proud of them for the first time in his life…

Geet: I was not saying about you, you are not like that

Maan: then how am I like?

Geet: aap utna bhi dhust danav nahi ho, thoda thoda achche bhi ho

Maan: achcha?

Maan pretends to be surprised… but he knows that she respects and trusts him…

Geet: haan

Maan: toh chalein?

Geet: hmm

Maan starts walking…

Geet: hare ek minute rukho

Maan stops and turns back…

Geet comes and hugs him…

Maan is pleasantly surprised…

Geet: thank you very much

Maan: my pleasure

Geet: chalein?

They come down where everyone is waiting eagerly…

Ranno has been constantly praying…

At last bababji has answered her prayers…

Darji: toh Maanji, sab teek haina?

Maan: woh aap Geet se hi poochlo

Geet smiles and gets the snacks for Maan….

Maan: woh mein chahta hoon ki ye shadi Geet ki padayi ke badh ho, abhi bas ek hi semester bakhi haina, mera shard yahi hai ki meri honewali Biwi ek graduate ho

Darjhi looks at Brij, Brij looks at Maninder…b

They react as if he has asked for something impossible…

Maan: kya hua?

Darjhi: kuch nahi, humme manzoor hai

Brij: par Darjhi

Darjhi signals him to keep quiet…

Maan is doubtful if these people even care about her studies…

Maan: lagtha koi problem hai

Maninder: nahi nahi, mein bhi bahut pareshan tha ki Geet ko padayi chodna padega, ab toh woh College jayegi

Geet can’t believe it…

Geet: sach papaji?

Maninder: haan Geet

Geet goes and hugs her papa…

Maan is happy now only…

Darji: toh hum savithriji se baat karthe hai

Maan: ji, dadi bahut kush honge

Darji: Geet sab ki muh meetha karo, tummari shadi pakki ho gayi hai

Ranno is so happy… she goes and hugs her beloved daughter…

Maan: ek baat aur, mein dopahar ko Delhi laut raha hoon, aur mein chahta hoon ki Geet ko uski college mein chodke jaoon

Brij: mein kal Geet ko chod doonga

Maan turns and stares Brij…

Darji: Brij, Maan ji Geet ko lekhe jaana chathe hai toh humme bhi bahut kushi hai

Maan: toh Geet, tayaar rehna

Geet: haan

Geet happily packs her bags and is very excited to go back to college…

She has missed a few classes but it’s not too late…

She can appear for the final semester…

Dadi has got the news already…

She is a bit disappointed that the marriage has been delayed by a few Maanhs but she is happy that Maan has agreed to this relationship…

She was worried that Maan would end up all alone in his life…

Her prayers have also been answered finally…

Poor dadi! She doesn’t know about Maan’s plans…

Now dadi won’t pester him to get married…
