DGP Pradyuman retirement party

DGP ; The official retirement party was such a drag! Nobody actually knew me.....they were just talking nonsense......."we'll miss you sir"..... I was like you guys barely know me!.

The room erupted in laughter......everyone who knew Pradyuman sir personaly were present in the gathering ; there was ADGP Asha , DSP Sudhakar , IG Michael , DIG Daya , DCP Purvi , JCP Shreya , Senior Inspector Abhijeet , Dr Nyanti , Dr Tarika, Dr Salunke and Neeraj and his family were present (Dr Salunke retired in the year 2030 but still made it to the party) .

DGP ; Now I don't want anyone to tell me that you're all going to miss me and how much I mean to you because I know that you'll keep visiting me from time to time and I know how much I mean to everyone.......we don't have to cheapen that by actually saying it.

Then the evening was even more enjoyable.....everyone told thier favourite DGP sir stories and there was laughter , soooooo much laughter in the air 

Stories were exchanged , laughter , cries were heard , at one point everyone were singing "yeh phool chaman mein kaisa khila"........it was a great party

Daya found Abhijeet standing in a far corner 

"Never thought we'd make it this long did we?"

"Yeah"

"You look worried Abhijeet"

"I'm sad that DGP sir is retiring"

"So are we , but we're not sulking in a corner"

"I'm not sulking- alright I was sulking, it's because that all the people who worked as my juniors are now my seniors,.......I hate myself for feeling this way but that's what I'm feeling"

"Come on! Cheer up! You'd hate these posts , the higher you go , more paperwork , I do paperwork everyday......I wish I was in your post......and I thought that you refused promotion all these years knowing that"

"No I didn't I was just saying that to save my integrity from everyone" 

"Abhijeet , Pradyuman sir was ACP for 26 years befor he got another  promotion.......soon it'll be your time as well"

"Pradyuman sir is 83 Daya , do you think we'll be allowed to work till that age? I'm 64 , you're 63 , best case scenario we'll be asked to retire in 7 years..... Pradyuman sir is a legend , that's why he had held on to this job all these years , I don't think that'll be our case"

"So be it!  I don't worry about the future too much.......and I have a feeling  that something good will happen to you soon......come on let's enjoy the party"

The party went for long until everyone was too exhausted......since no one consumed alcohol ......everyone gave a toast using orange juice

Abhijeet; to DGP sir , you're my hero who has saved my life thousands of times

All; To DGP SIR!!!

Neeraj : To DGP sir he saved my life 

All ; to DGP sir!!

Daya ; You're my role model sir

All ; TO DGP SIR!!!

Sudhakar , Asha and Michael : To DGP sir our mentor and a living legend 

Sudhakar; Sidebar , he saved my life from Dr Nyanti as well to DGP sir!

All; TO DGP SIR!!!!

Shreya, Pankaj and Purvi ;  to DGP Our evergreen role model 

All; TO DGP SIR!!!

Dr Tarika and Dr Nyanti ; TO THE BEST CID OFFICER EVER!!! TO DGP SIR

All; TO DGP SIR!!!

Dr Salunke ; to my best friend in this word , we may have had our differences , but you remained my best friend eventhough we bickered constantly. To my friend Pradyuman!!

All ; TO DGP SIR!!!

DGP ; Thanks a lot everybody! Now a final toast to CID , which united all of us as a family , I won't miss you because I know that you people will never leave my side......now come on three , two ,one.....

Sudhakar; To this thing of ours- ummm sorry old habits die hard

Michael; being in the mob for 19 years will do that to you

Everyone laughed.......and in the end.......
