THE DETERMINATION EXISTS

After telling everything to Roli, confessing his every little or big crime which he thought or did to Roli he couldn't stand in front of her seeing her breaking down and when she herself asked him to leave her he stormed out of the room in quick steps as fast as he could but for some reasons he didn't know what but his heart asked him to stay near her so he stayed back outside his room. He slumped down on the floor, leaning back on the wall of his room just beside the door. He could hear her cry which would piercing his heart and he couldn't control himself anymore and cry along with her burying his head drawing his knees closer to his chest. His mind was on its own ride rewinding every event that took place in the last few months from Anya being missing to Shree getting shot. From his searching mission to find her in a hospital in the worst and numb. Getting to know about the culprit to plan revenge. Marrying Roli to Anya gaining consciousness. From Anya being hysterical and trying for suicide to Roli behaving weird or scarier to be precise. From Anya asking for death to him trying to kill Roli. From Anya coming back home to leave him forever. From getting to know the truth about Roli to finally confessing it... Everything every single thing surfaced in front of his eyes making him so weak to handle his emotions, he didn't know what to feel, or be honest he didn't know what to give the exact word to what he felt guilty - for what he did with Roli, broken - As he is seeing himself all alone to deal with this mess or anger - for he has hurt two women one his sister who left him and another his wife who is all broken and crying inside.

Not getting any conclusion to all his thought Sid stayed there crying when his cry muffled down then only did he notice the silence from inside his room. He got up stumbling on his feet, various thoughts crossed his mind regarding should he enter or not and at last removing every other thing he slowly entered the room to find her sleeping, tear marks were so clear on her face which made his heart clench on the thought that he is the reason behind only just because of misunderstanding, only if he had searched little more deeply this might have not happened, only if he was little more cautious and wise then he would have been able to save this girl from the heartbreak he just gave apart from the pain she was already suffering. Tears again started to roll down his eyes as he thought about where his carelessness has brought him. It has ruined 3 lives - Aanya his sister, Roli his wife, and his own. Maybe he hasn't yet given any rights to Roli for being his wife but this can't be nullified that he married her likewise if she didn't feel or noticed but the truth can't be changed that he did try to kill her not only once but many times.

Siddhant came out of his thoughts hearing a little whimper coming from Roli, his head shot up towards her finding her in pain due to wounds whenever she moves. His heart cried again as all the wounds of her came rushing into his mind, he worked hurriedly and surrounded her with pillows protecting her from any hurt and at last tucked her in then moved out while a thought revolved around his mind giving him slight relief that he was able to reduce her physical pain to some extent if not the one he gave to her pure heart.

Somehow with faltering steps, he reached downstairs opened a door, and entered the room. That room has every memory of his parents that he has with him, whenever he feels low he spent his time there which made him feel like he is near to them. He himself didn't know when he fell asleep holding his parent's photo frame tight in his hold. 

After hours his eyes opened slightly and when he get acquainted with the light he noticed where he is and why he is there. His eyes became moist again.

" How can I be so careless? " he questioned looking at his parent's pic expecting an answer to it.

" did I become so blind seeing Aanya's pain that I didn't notice Roli's tears? " he asked caressing his Mumma's face in the frame.

" Was I that scared of the thought of losing my gudiya that I forgot the things what I was trying to do is a crime?" He shivered and the hold on the pic tightened as he remembered how scared he felt when Anya tried a suicide attempt. And after it how he tried to kill Roli and at last how he tried to force himself on her.

" I heard a lot about Darsh and I already knew what kind of a man he was then why didn't I think about Roli being in pain because of him, I knew that he only married Roli to me because he has eyes on my money then why didn't for once I think how her life would be under such a money-minded monster-like person... Why didn't I think this way, just why?" Siddhant cried aloud burying his face into his palms.

ROLI'S ROOM

Roli packed her bag and went downstairs to leave the house but as she puts her first step down she stopped... Her mind was now on to another ride of finding an answer to the question 'Where will she go? ...To Darsh of course Not. Then where? What place does she have to go to? Who does she know can help her to be at a safer place?'

She steps back on the realization that the outer world will totally be unfamiliar to her, will she be able to survive? And suddenly a question pops up in her mind ' Does she wants to survive? '

She wipes her tears and took her suitcase then steps down... She reached down into the living room but her steps came to halt when heard someone crying. She moved toward the voice leaving her suitcase there. As she went near, the voice was so loud and clear making her brows scrunch. She reached the room which was already half-open. She pushed the door more and peeped inside, her eyes first fell on the life-size picture of a couple on the wall in front of her. She looked at them confused. Her eyes then traveled to the sidewall which had the pic of the same couple but this one was having Garland around it, making her realize that they are no more. Before she could scan the room more she heard him talking between his sobs...

" I messed it up, Papa" 

That was when Roli finally saw that person, and her eyes went wide in shock seeing Siddhant, truly she wasn't expecting it to be him. She stood there immobile and listen to him talking to that photo frame.

" I don't know what should I do, no one is here to guide me, I was not in the right sense to configure if I was doing right or wrong. And now I am realizing that I was wrong, from the first day I was wrong on whatever I did." 

Roli's eyes again started becoming moist which she was holding from the time she decided on her life as she can understand about what wrong he is talking.

" First of all, I couldn't save my gudiya... She was... You know Papa how it felt when I saw her in hospital almost lifeless... and that time I promised myself that I will punish every person who was the reason behind my gudiya's pain... But but I punished the wrong one Mumma... I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have, In my carelessness, I made a sin, I declared that girl as my enemy who already was in pain but Mumma when I saw my Anu there in front of me... And attempting suicide ... "

Roli froze at the word suicide, which means Aanya di is dead. The thought sent chills down her spine as the information sinks in that Aanya did suicide in front of Siddhant. She couldn't hear anything further, her steps stumbled backward balancing herself she looked back at Siddhant. She can't think of the pain he might have been through seeing his sister the way he saw, dying. Her thoughts again got interrupted by Siddhant.

" I promise Papa, I won't hurt her hereafter. She has endured enough. I should have done this before, but I will do it from now on, I will protect Roli from Darsh, I would never hurt her again the way I tried to do before. I promise papa Mumma I will try to clear all this mess no matter whatever I had to do "

There was only one thing that was running in Roli's mind that is "I will protect Roli from Darsh". Absentmindedly she left the place silently without letting him know about her presence but reaching the living room she bumped with her suitcase which fell startling her making a sound and she hurriedly took it up in her hand.

Siddhant heard the disturbance and moved out of the room to see Roli ready with her bag. He knew what might be going inside her mind after knowing the whole truth and she is not wrong if she decides to leave after all who would want to live with the person who is behind your life. He thought it would be wrong from his side to ask her to stay even after whatever he did with her behind her back so Siddhant didn't try to even stop Roli or say anything because he can clearly see that she has decided something over that he didn't get the guts to stand in front of her in the first place. He just kept looking at her silently but inside somewhere was pushing him to make a move towards her and assure her that she would be safe here, that he would protect her but he couldn't do it.

Whereas Roli felt his presence and even noticed him too. Her hand was clutching her suitcase so tightly turning her knuckles into white, even though she was unable to make any decision several things were running through her mind. First thing was that Siddhant was not completely wrong She herself accept that she has somewhere had a discrete role in dragging Aanya to the hell she went through but Sid could have asked her in detail when he already knew who she is. Secondly, her thoughts were around what she heard in the room seconds ago, he promised his dead parents to protect her, should she believe him? Will she be able to trust him again the way she used to before? The first time when she met him she had trusted him with her happiness, dreams, and life but he broke it all. The life she was living till now was all an illusion. The illusion of happiness and bliss. Can she trust him with the truth, won't she be doubting him for his actions to be one of his plots to punish her for whatever happened with Aanya di. But he said he will protect her from Darsh which means she will be safe with him. Should she stay?

All these thoughts kept revolving in her mind when she remembered Aanya's last wish.

Aanya: you too come with me...

Roli: no not anymore... I already had ruined your life but not your death... you go I'll try to hold him in the house when he comes back... I won't let him reach out to you soon...till then you can choose what you have to do..to live or to die...

Aanya: but he'll not leave you...he may beat you again ...

" That's not new...he always does ...and now I am used to it or can say I don't have any options left other than this...but you have di .. please go " says Roli pleading to Aanya...

" I'll but you have to promise me something " Aanya asks, seeing Roli confused she continued " if you ever get an opportunity to save yourself from Darsh you will surely grab it without any second thought no matter what it is, I wanna see you out of this place away from his reach and that's my last wish, to see you safe "

Tears rolled down Roli's eyes recalling Aanya's words, she looked at Sid then her bag, and her mind again reminded her of Sid's words amplifying "I will protect Roli from Darsh". 

Siddhant didn't know what exactly was running in her mind but a new stream of tears left his eyes and he sighed in relief looking at her moving back towards the room with her suitcase tugging along. 

POLICE STATION

Aanya entered through the corridor into the big room which holds so many tables with chairs with one or two constables or sub-inspector sitting there. She read one of the name tags kept on the middle of the table, sub-inspector Anant Kumar Sinha. Roaming her eyes in all directions she slowly moved towards his table. She was shivering little being all alone in between many strangers but mustering up the courage she reached inspector Kumar. " I've to file an FIR "

Kumar looked up at her from head to toe almost scanning her, She uncomfortably squirmed at her place. He gave her a wide smile and then announced loudly " Ahaa finally, we have a complaint people... Uh oh it seems like I need to do a lot of work today " he says keeping his eyes on Aanya making his colleagues laugh.

Aanya felt her body burning in his gaze, she stammered " will you please write the complaint " She wanted to leave that place as soon as possible as she was literally feeling choked in that atmosphere and that was the moment she realized she shouldn't have come alone.

" why so hurry Dear... Mam... I will write naa " 

Aanya quivered at her place feeling so uncomfortable, she felt as if old wounds are opening in his talks. She took a step back thinking to leave but he stopped her asking " what's the complaint about "

Seeing him getting into normality she slightly spoke " about mol... Molestation "

" With you? " he asked again but there was something that felt so wrong in his voice.

Aanya froze with the question, her mind went blank for a while but she composed herself and answered " no, not me, my brother... He tried to force himself on a girl "

" Woah Woah, your brother? " he said aloud gaining everyone's concentration again. Looking at others he said " see people here big sister is complaining about her brother " he chuckled along with others and this attitude of his was definitely not doing good with Aanya. He continued " ok so tell me his name... Let me know who is that unlucky brother whose sister is here complaining instead of protecting him... Poor him "

" will you write it quietly or not "

" why getting hyper, ok first tell his name " Kumar tried to control the situation.

" Siddhant Bhardwaj "

Kumar was stupefied hearing the name he asked again " Siddhant Bhardwaj as in SB " Aanya nodded and he started laughing loudly as he was thinking of her to be faking her relationship with SB " oh, really are you sure you are his sister and you want me to believe? " he laughed again and others joined making fun of her.

Aanya felt tears stinging in her eyes seeing the way she is being treated. Holding back her tears she asked " and why can't you believe? "

" ok then if you are his sister then I'm SB's father... Now say can you believe it " he mocks her again and laughed but then said " look girl don't try to defame him ok, and if you really are his sister then bring the proof then only I will take the case, now you can leave but if you don't wanna leave I won't deny " he completed with a smirk on his face that surely made her pale understanding what he meant, she stood up hurriedly and left. Kumar laughed seeing her but his laugh ceased on hearing a voice...

" This is not done Kumar, not done "

Kumar stood up and salutes his senior Yug Khurana who approached him from his cabin. Sitting at the edge of Kumar's table he spoke " c'mon Kumar there was a girl in the station and you didn't send her to my cabin, not done man " 

Kumar chuckles at his senior then said " sorry boss, the next girl who comes here will be sent to you " he winks at his boss who gets up from the table.

Aanya was sitting in the cab going back to Shree's house, her mind was recalling whatever happened there, and finally, her tears flowed out of her eyes uncontrollably, crying for a few minutes she stopped as for now the anger inside her has taken over the vulnerability she felt, wiping her tears she promised to herself, whatever happens, I will bring justice to Roli.

AANYA PALACE

Roli settled back in the room with a thought that this time she won't let Siddhant hurt her, she stayed back only because she wanna be in the safest circle away from Darsh and also She wants to fulfill her Aanya di's last wish if she has to stay with Siddhant the person whom she trusts least for now, but somewhere his words let her take this chance whatever the outcome will be, she will stand for her safety this time.

Downstairs, Siddhant was still standing at the place where he was, after seeing Roli ready to go he was scared thinking what if Darsh tried to hurt her when she steps out of the house alone but seeing her moving back gave him relief and now he was sure to do anything to protect her.

The day was almost nearing the end but the events that took place weren't so good. Things didn't go right for some but some were relieved. Everyone was having different thoughts and questions in their minds but the common thing was that even after being at their low phase still, The Determination Exists in their hearts. Roli was determined to take a stand for herself for her safety if that means taking Sid's help. Even after being made a joke Aanya was still determined to be strong to bring justice to Roli. And Siddhant being relived with Roli staying he was sure and determined to aid the hearts of the two women whom he had hurt- his wife and his sister, and the first step was to protect Roli, and then he will think of how to go for bringing Aanya back.

After knowing about what happened with Aanya in the police station Shree was about to take action against Kumar but to his surprise, Kumar has already been suspended.

" Who did that? " Shree questioned himself not being sure of that person.
