Rathore missing

 

Next morning, everyone was busy in their usual works. But something was unusual.

No. 1  Sameer Rathore, their chief , who was never late to enter, was late.

No.2 Arjun was worried.

 

The terrific trio was busy to post mortem it all.

''yaar, aaj aisa pehli baar huya hain ki Rathore sir late hain.'' Chotu said.

''haan yaar. Par iss baat se Arjun sir kuch dukhi lag rahe hain..'' Shree asked, while looking at him.

Riya also felt that, and looked directly towards him. He was engrossed on his thoughts, and was occasionally calling someone.

 

Then, suddenly, the receptionist, Neha entered the cabin, panting heavily.

''sir….who…..tv par…..Rathore sir….''

 

She never finished , as Arjun ran out of the room like a maniac, and the trio followed him.

''ab tak ki sabse badi breaking news ye hain Acp Sameer Rathore, Chief of Emergency Task Force is kidnapped……..'' the man yelled at the tv screen .

Everyone was too shocked. Shree and Chotu looked at each other.

Riya looked at Arjun, who was watching the Tv determinently. His face was hard, and it looked like what he thought was actually happening. She walked to him.

''aapko kya pehle se hi….''she stopped, as he looked at him. He nodded in negative.

''kal raat who achanak se nikal gaya. Aur kafi jaldi mein tha. Aur aaj subah se uska phone switched off aa raha hain. He stopped, and closed his eyes in anger, ''ek baar mujhe pata chal jaye ki yeh sab kisne kiya….''

 

Riya's eyes went towards the Tv again, where the man was yelling

''humein abhi 10 min pehle kisi anjaan e mail account se ek video clip aya.''

Then a video started to play.

A man, covering his face with a black cloth, was in the video.

''humne ACP Rathore ko kidnap kiya hain, aur Maharashtra Sarkar se isski jaan ke badle humara saathi, gangster Rehmaan Hassan  ki maang karte hain. Humein ummeed hain, ki Maharastra sarkar ek jaabaz police officer ko kurbaan nahi karna chahega. Aur taaki aapko yakeen ho jaye ki yeh ek jhoota video nahi hain, iss liye hum apko ACP Rathore ki jhalak dikha rahe hain.''

Then the man was gone and Rathore appeared in the video. He was unconscious. His hands, mouth and legs were tied with a chair. And it was a deserted room.just for a couple of seconds..and he was gone. And that man was back again.

''ab to apko yakeen ho gaya hoga yeh koi jhoot nahi hain. Ab humari maange jaldi puri ki jaye, warna isska anjaam bohot bura hoga.''

The video ended, and the tv anchor was back, and started to scream again.

''agar ek police wala mehfoos nahi hain to aam admi kaise mehfoos hain? Ab Maharastra sarkar kya karegi? Kya who ek ACP ke liye ek Gangster ko chod degi, ya phir ACP ki bali chadegi…..''

Everyone was panicking, and discussing about it. Arjun barked,

''everyone, back in their works. Shree, Chotu, Mukherjee, come with me.''

All vanished from the cafeteria and went back to their works, still not over of the shock.

 

They settled down in the conference room, still feeling dizzy. It was shree who spoke first.

''ek gangster ke liye Rathore sir ko kyu…..'' he paused and looked at all of them,'' mera matlab hain ki, Rehman Hassan bohot bada Gangster hain, to uske liye koi bade admi ko kidnap karne chahiye tha, eh ACP ko kyu?''

''kyu ki who sirf ek ACP nahi hain, Shree.'' Riya answered his questions. Everyone looked at her.

''who Sirf ek mamooli ACP nahi hain. Maharastra ke home minister, Mr. Raghuvendra Chauhan unke mama jee hain.''

Arjun looked at her amazed and questioningly, he thought how does she know? And his unspoken question was answered by her.

''ek research specialist hoon, apne team members ke bare mein khabar rakhna hi chahiye.''

And at the exact time, Shaina bursted into cabin.she looked at all of them frantically, and everyone get up from their seats.

''riya, maine, tv par…. '' she was not able to finish  her words. Her voice was choked with pain anger and fear.

''humne bhi abhi…'' Riya said, tried to calm her down.

''ok, hum ko apni investigation suru karni hogi.'' Arjun ordered, and everyone looked at him. '' humein who footage chahiye, jo  tv par dikhaya jaraha hian. Shayad use kuch info mile.'' He paused and said, '' Mukherjee, saare control room ko khabar kar do, un logon ko rathore ki SUV dhoond ne ke liye kaho.Shree, Rathore ki phone ki last call records aur last time who kahan tha yeh pata karo. Chotu, apne informers se pucho, rehman ke liye aisa kaun kar sakta hain?  Uski puri janam kundali nikalo.''

They all nodded and sprinted out of the room. Riya was about to inform the control room when Shaina said, ''main tumhare saath aa rahi hoon.''

Arjun was clearly angry and irritated with this. ''koi jaroorat nahi hain.''

''main puch nahi rahi hoon, bata rahi hoon.'' She answered back.

''yeh humari team ka matter hain, hum khud….'' Arjun answered back, glaring at her, but she yelled

''its also my matter, DAMMIT !!!!. ''

"calm down, Shai.'' Riya said, holding her shoulders tight. She said to Arjun, ''yeh waqt behes karne ka nahi hain. Rathore sir is our first priority. Please, both of you, calm down.''

They still glared at each other. Shaina said, ''tum commissioner sir se baat karna chahoge? Shayad uske baad tumhe koi problem nahi hogi.''

Arjun glared at her, and said to Riya, ''get back to work.'' And went out of the room.

 

After some hours, they managed to find some points.

Rehmaan's only relative is his brother, Sulemaan. So that man in the footage is 100 % him.

Last call in Rathore's phone  was from an unknown no. it came from a old burned factory in bandra. There was nothing in there, Chotu has checked it.

They checked the footage, but nothing came from it. It was a dark room, looks like some house or quarters where none lived. They continued to check it for a little hint.

They found the car, at 20 km distance from ETF office. It was in a bad condition. Tires punctured, all mirrors and glass broken, and there was some traces of blood too.

Shaina broke down after witnessing the Suv and hugged Riya tightly. Arjun was furious. He vowed to kill them all who have dared to touch Rathore. He was very worried.

They all went to the Commisioner's Office, who was also worried as hell. And there was Home minister Chauhan too.

The commissioner was sandwiched between public and political pressures. He knew, it was not right to free a gangster, and in the other side, Chauhan ordered him to bring back Rathore, at any cost.

He looked at them, when his landline rang.

''hello, commissioner sahib.'' It was the man from the footage. Sulemaan.

'' to, kahan tak pahucha humari maange? Kab nikal raha hain, rehmaan?''

The commissioner was feeling disgusted to  talk, or negotiate with this kind of a person. Still he have to do it.

''dekho, jot um log maang rahe ho who milna mushkil hain.''

''mushkil? ''' saying this, he started to laugh like a mad man. He stopped after some time, and said, '' humein gumrah karne ki koshish mat kijiye, Commisioner sahib. Humne koi kachi goliyan nahi khel rakhi hain. Ab jald se jald humara sathi ko azad kijiye aur apne Officer ko le jaiyye.'' He paused and said, ''agli baar jab hum call kare, to humein jawab haan, ya naa mein milna chahiye. Warna anjaam acha nahi hoga.'' He hung up.

 

Everyone looked at each other. They had reached at a dead end, there is no way now.

Minister Chauhan got up from his chair and said, ''hum nahi Rehmaan ko chodenge, aur na hi Sameer ko kuch hone denge. Ab yeh kaise hoga, yeh aplog socho. Bas ek baar yaad rakhiyega, agar use kuch hogaya, to hum ap sab ki police career humesha ke liye barbaad kr denge. Yaad rakhiyega.'' And he left the room.

Commisioner looked at the team, and said, ''maine apne pure career mein aisa kuch face nahi kiya…. Aur Chauhan sahib koi bhi negotiation nahi karna chahte. Ab koi rasta nahi bacha. Maine bohot koshish ki unko convince kar ne ki par…..we have reached at a dead end.''

Everyone was silent, only the sound of their breathing was available. Arjun said, ''ek plan hain. Thoda khatarnak hain. Par shayad isse hum dono ko bacha pay.''

''we are ready for any plan.'' Shree said, and Riya and Chotu nodded.Arjun looked at them proudly.

''Sulemaan, u r gone.'' He said to himself.

The next day, Team ETF was going to a deserted factory sight with Rehmaan. They had fixed the deal, they will give them rehmaan and bring back Rathore.

But it was only for the rest of the world. They know as soon as they hand over Rehmaan, they will kill them off and  bring Rathore . So they planned a suicidal mission, to kill Rehmaan and the rest of the gang and bring back Rathore.

Shaina was also there. She was quite from yesterday evening. Her face was hard with determination. Looks like she wont spare anyone.

Actually, the whole Team's mood was not to spare anybody today. They was furious that someone had dared to touch their chief.now its pay back time for them.they all were ready for action.

They reached the deserted factory area. The plan was Arjun will enter with Rehmaan, and as soon as rathore will be with him, the rest of the team will start firing.

As per plan, they were behind Arjun's SUV. They left it followed him and hide themselves in the old factory area. After some time, the gangster showed up with his gang.

''welcome, Acp Arjun. Kaafi tariff suni hain apki, aur aaj dekh bhi liya.'' The man, still hiding his face, Sulemaan, said.

''bakwas band karo, Sulemaan, aur Rathore ko dikhao.'' He yelled back.

Someone from the gang dragged Rathore. He was now fully conscious, hands mouth still tied. His eyes were red with fury, and he looked angrily at Arjun, shouting from all his body, ''why did you agree for negotiation???''

 Arjun knew what is going on in his mind, but he kept his calm.

Shaina's eyes filled with joy after watching Rathore, but her  amile vanished after watching his blood coming out of a small scratch on his forehead. She cursed the man who was responsible and got herself ready for some kick ass. The whole team also let out a sigh of relieve after watching Rathore. They loaded their revolvers for some action.

''Rehmaan ko bhejo.'' The man said.

''aisa nahi, ek saath dono ko bhejo.'' Arjun yelled back, according to his plan.

The man looked at him angrily, but didn't oblige. He escorted Rathore with a man.Arjun too went ahead, one hand tightly holding rehmaan.they coma closer and he left him.

He came back with Rathore, and untied his hands and mouth. Rathore barked at him, ''tumne aisa kyu kiya? Use kyu choda?'' as soon as his mouth were free.

''plan to ab suru hoga,'' Arjun pointed towards the hiding team members, and motioned them to start.

And it started. They started to shoot the men. The gang was busy rejoicing their victory, but their victory was cut short. The first bullet had shot Rehmaan in his head, it was shot by Shaina.

The gang took their positions, and firing started. And of course, ETF was winning.they almost killed everyone.

After some 30 mins, it stopped. Everyone was killed in the gang, including rehmaan and sulemaan.theteam came out of their positions.

"Sammy…'' a familiar voice caught Rathore' s attention and someone jumped into his arms. He was too shocked at first, then realization sank.

''tum?'' he broke the hug and shook her, '' tum yahan? Kya? Kaise?...what is going on?''

''I will explain everything later.'' She said.

''no, you will explain me now. Tum yahan par kar kya rahi thi? Aur tum iss shoot out mein….oh my god. Do you have any sense? Agar kuch ho jata to? '' he scolded her, not believing it all.

''Sammy, relax. And tum bhul rahe ho ki main bhi ek Police officer hoon, its my duty………….''

A sound of gunshot shook them all, and instantly their argument also stopped. They turned to find out the source of it, and found a man, shot in the leg, aiming towards the Team.Arjun shot him.

But something was not right. Where did the bullet go? They all turned to the target and saw……
