Chapter - 38

Roli was wrapped in Sid's embrace as they remained in the same position, forgetting the time and everything around. 

When it thundered, roli jerked her body causing for the break of hug. 

"What happened?" Sid asked after breaking the hug. 

Roli didn't say anything and looked up at the sky. Only then she realized that it had started raining lightly. 

After keenly observing her face, sid understood the matter of concern and laughed at her "so, you're scared of these thunder sounds". 

"So, what if I'm scared of it" roli slapped on his arm for making fun of her. 

However, the next moment she had to go in to his arms as it was thundering for a few times continuously. 

Roli completely buried her face in his chest, hugging him as tightly as she could. 

Sid couldn't help but laugh at her scared state, which roli didn't really enjoy. But, at the moment, she could do nothing since she needed him by her side to feel safe. 

"Scared of such silly things but, still have the guts to walk around alone. Have to appreciate your courage, roli" sid mocked. 

Sid actually felt a bit suffocated with the way roli hugged him so tightly. However, he didn't pull her away as for he knew that she needed it. He silently endured the little pain that he felt and wrapped his arms around her to make her feel relaxed. 

"We can't stand here like this, let's go" as the rain had began to get heavy, sid suggested and they both walked towards his car. 

Sid was in a hurry to get into the car as he hated to be in rain, he ended up opening the backseat door of the car, instead of front seat and they both got settled in the backseat. 

After settling down in the car, sid messaged his friends saying that he found roli and she was safe. His friends, who were worried about roli, got relaxed after receiving message from sid. 

"How we'll drive if we sit here?" Roli queried. She was still holding onto Sid's hand as she was scared of such weather. 

"Even if we sit in front, we can't drive because tyre got punctured" sid informed as he tossed his phone on to the seat beside him. 

"Can't you maintain a spare tyre?" Roli turned to him with a frown. 

"Firstly, how would I know that my car tyre will get punctured while searching for some stupid creature in this world. Secondly, you should actually be thankful to this punctured tyre because if it hadn't happen then you wouldn't be with me right now" sid quickly rebutted. 

"Who you're calling stupid?" Roli looked annoyed with his comment. 

"The one who's holding my hand right now" sid raised his hand, which was in roli's hold and said indirectly. 

"You're stupid!" Roli shoved his hand away like an angry kid. 

"What did you say?" Sid glared at her. 

"If you're not stupid then you'd have called your friends to come and pick us up by now" roli thrown a tantrum. 

Only then it hit his head that asking help from his friends had completely slipped his mind. However, if he did it after she suggested then she'd continue to call him stupid! And it'd be his defeat which he couldn't accept.  

"They were all gone before I reach here and it's too late to disturb them to help us" sid blabbered whatever the reason he could find at the moment. 

"Really?" Roli raised her eyebrows, clearly not satisfied with his answer. 

Though it was only a short period of time since she knew his friends but, she knew how caring they were. If they knew roli was missing, they just couldn't return back without knowing her whereabouts. 

"Stop interrogating me like as if I'm a culprit" sid was annoyed at her suspicious look. 

"We both got stuck in this middle of nowhere just because of you" sid quickly switched the topic and turned her attention. 

"I didn't ask you to come" roli didn't back out after being blamed by him. 

Sid was even more pissed off now. Did she have any idea of what would have happened if he hadn't reached their on time? 

"Fine, do whatever you want" sid said and turned against her. His face was stern as if he was trying to hold in his anger. 

They sat in silence for a couple of minutes. And for roli's relief, it was only raining outside and there were no thunder sounds. 

Suddenly, roli's eyes fell on her phone, which was lying down in the car. She took it up and was surprised to find so many missed calls and messages. 

Roli was even more surprised when she noticed that all of those missed calls and messages were from sid alone. They were sent by sid when he was searching for her in the hospital. 

She then started reading those messages one by one, which read : 

"Where are you?" 

"Pick up the call" 

"I'll kill you if don't stop playing such stupid games like this" 

Roli pursed her lips thinking that he wanted to kill her when she actually went missing. She glanced at him through the corner of her eyes before turning back to her phone. 

Her gaze, however, softened as she read the further messages which read : 

"Are you okay?" 

"Just tell me where are you, I'll come to you"

"Stop scaring me, roli" 

Roli again glanced at sid but, this time she didn't look angry. 

The next one was a voice message. Roli tapped on it to listen. As roli had a habit of listening to songs more often, she connected her phone to the car's music system back when they were driving to the hospital. And it was left connected when they got down and roli forgot to take her phone. 

Thus, now when roli tapped on the play button, it played in the car's music system as it was still connected to it. 

"Roli, where are you..?" Roli heard Sid's voice which seemed like too tired. Obviously, he was running all over the hospital searching for her when he sent that message. 

Sid's attention caught by the audio as he quickly turned his head from window. 

"Stop it.." sid tried to snatch her phone but, before he was able to reach it, roli twisted her hand and kept her phone at her back. 

While the audio continued to play "Just tell me that you're fine, atleast that'll stop my heart from bursting out. And tell wherever you are, I'll come there. Are you listening? Give some response damn it!".  

With that, the audio ended. His voice was full of concern and roli could clearly feel it. 

As sid remained in the position of where he had tried to snatch her phone a while ago, he was still leaning on to her. 

Roli stared at his eyes whilst he tried to look everywhere but her. 

"You were worried for me" after a few seconds of silence, roli said, gazing at his face which looked even more handsome with the glow of dim lighting in the car. 

Sid's eyes instantly drawn into hers as her voice reached his ears. He didn't say a word as they both got lost in each other for a few moments before he involuntarily moved near her face. 

He moved so close to her that now the tip of their noses were touching the other. He looked directly into her eyes which were sparkling under the light. 

As if he was under a magical spell, Sid held her left hand with his right one, brought it near to his lips and kissed her fingers. 

While her phone which she was holding in her left hand, fell down and her hand slightly touched the screen while it was falling and it caused for a song to continue playing which was paused in middle back when they reached hospital. 

"Koi Lamha Mera Na Ho Tere Bina

Har Saans Pe Naam Tera..." Tum hi ho song continued to play in the background. 

Roli softly blinked her eyes as sid intertwined his right hand with her left one. While his left hand slided back to her waist, pulling her close to him. 

Perhaps, he was too lost in her or the background song was driving him crazy, his eyes suddenly filled with desire. 

Roli couldn't able to hold his piercing gaze and she looked down, avoiding to look at him.  

Sid placed his lips softly on her eyes then slowly moved to her cheeks and eventually stopped on her lips. 

Roli trembled a little as she felt his lips over hers. Sid softly pecked her lips, trying to ease her up. 

When he realized that she stopped trembling, he started kissing her lips slowly.  

Sid left holding her hand, brought his hand back of her head and removed the clutch, setting her hair free.  

The kiss was slowly started to deepen as sid leant more on to roli, making her to lean back on to the seat. 

Roli held his waist tightly as Sid slided his hand into her top. She felt a tickle as his hand touched her bare waist. 

Sid pulled her lower lip, making his way into her. Roli slightly moaned and hugged his waist. 

With the kiss getting intense, roli tried to push him away as she couldn't handle it. 

Her tries went in vain as he deepened the kiss even more. He seemed like taking revenge on her for worrying him to death. 

But, as roli struggled to get breath that she was running out due to his passionate kiss, sid softened a little and paused the kiss. 

Sid trailed his lips down to her neck and started kissing all over it. 

Being it a confined place in the car, roli felt a little uncomfortable. What's more was he was completely lying over her and her petite figure couldn't able to bear the weight of his well built body. 

Sid sensed her discomfort and got up from her, pulling her almost over to his lap. 

Sid's face was now covered with a layer of sweat as he leant his head back to the seat to take breath. 

While roli tried to get off of his lap but, his arms were wrapped around her waist, trapping her in his embrace. 

"Let's go home" roli spoke in a rather low voice. She was feeling embarrassed with the intimate atmosphere that had created inside the car. All she wanted to do now was to hide her red flushed face in her room. 

"Not so soon.." even before Sid's words come out of his mouth clearly, he pulled her closer to him by her waist and locked her lips with his, again. 

Roli gasped at his sudden action before clasping her arms around his neck. 

Sid's right hand reached her bare skin inside the top. He kept caressing until his hand moved above to reach the restricted parts while his lips still kissing hers intensely. 

Roli felt an electric shock when sid slowly stroked her chest. She quickly held his hand, stopping him from going any further. 

Sid chuckled amongst the kiss at her reaction and withdrew his hand back.  

Roli felt a little relieved as he took his hand out but, it didn't last for long as he took his hand up to her left shoulder, slided her sleeve down and started kissing at the place. 

Sid continued to bury his face in the crook of her neck and placed plenty of kisses there before moving down to her cleavage.  

When he tried to move even further, roli couldn't take it. Thus, she gently pushed him away, got off of his lap and settled down beside him. 

Roli covered her cherry red face in between her palms. She could clearly listen to her heart beating vigorously. 

Whilst sid sat unsatisfied as he hadn't gotten enough of her. He leant close to her and whispered near her ears "this would be the punishment for making me search for you". 

His voice sounded both husky and authoritative. Before roli could respond with anything, he pulled her close and hugged her tightly.
