Chapter 26

CHAPTER 24:

Arjun was up early morning. Riya was sleeping peacefully in her bed. He went to get freshen up and was back in a black track suite and a black hooded jacket. She was still sleeping. He wrote a message. "jogging to Pt:1906. Will be back with cameras ' Arjun.". He placed it on her nearby table and went out. But as soon as he moved out of the resort two men started to follow him, keeping a distance.

Ridhi was sitting still infront of the monitor. She hadn't slept a bit at night. Riya felt pity. She sat by her. "Ridhi..thode aaram karlo.. he'll be fine.." she was still frozen. Shifali went and brought coffee for all 3 of them and gave one to her. She didn't even notice it.

After a while, she jerked "Bhai.." Arjun passed infront of the camera that was situated nearest to the point. He was jogging casualy, his hood behind his neck, sleeves tucked up the arm revealing his bandages. Now they didn't have any connection with him after this point. A few minutes later, 2 men passed the way. Ridhi and team were worried. Later Sameer and team moved ahead of the camera. Now her whole family was out there. She didn't know what to do.

Point 1906:

Arjun sensed someone following him long back. He was not in a mood to go back without the cameras. so he moved ahead. At the point he stopped as if catching his breath but very keenly observing them. they misunderstood him and started firing. But he was ready. There were firing on both sides. Arjun had a small injury on his arm.

Sameer heard the gunshots and rushed to the point. They took positions. The goons never expected it. One of them was dead. The other tried to move ahead but Arjun caught him from behind. But the goon pushed him. The soil was damp due to the rain last night. Arjun slipped and fell onto a wild bush full of thorns. He was hurt badly by the thorns on his right arm. It was stinging. He felt a burning sensation at the arm. His vision was going blurry. He saw shadow of Sameer and Shree coming to him. But not so clear.

The goon was successful in pushing away Arjun. But he was chased by Raj for a long time. at last Raj lost him. He went back and saw Sameer and Shree howering over Arjun. He was pale and almost unconscious. "I think this bush is poisonous. He is hurt.. aur hosh bhi kho raha hai.. lets take him back.." they supported him back to the resort.

 

Resort:

Ridhi didn't take her eyes off the screen. Her brothers took a shortcut as mentioned by Shifali, so she missed them on screen. She was keeping her head on Riya's shoulder, eyes fixed on the screen.

Someone bursted the door. "Riya first aid le aao.." Shree rushed in keeping the door open. Sameer and Raj were supporting an unconscious Arjun. They took him to bed. He was bleeding at the arm, but the wound was not deep.Riya got into the bed and started dressing his cut.  Ridhi sat by him. He looked pale. She touched his forehead. He was burning.

"inhe tho bohot high temperature hai.." she was frightened. She ran to the washroom and brought a wet towel and placed on his forehead. He shivered a bit. "Roshni.." he said in a hushed voice. All were struck at the pain in his voice. Ridhi noticed moist in each eyes, especially Raj and Riya..

She kept her hand on his head and patted him slightly. "Sh.. bhaiya.. its ok.. hum sab yahi hai..its ok'aap so jaiye'." he was back in his sleep.

Raj brought an ayurvedic doctor with the help of receptionist. He looked at the scratches on his hand. "poisonus bush mein gira hai.. isiliye temperature high hai.. mein medicine laga detha hu.. har half an hour mein ye medicine piladena.. fever kam hone mein thode time lagega.. don't worry.."he went back. Ridhi sat by him placing wet towels. She was so tired.

"thode rest karlo Ridhi.. he's fine." Sam said but she was not ready.

"jao.. Ridhi.. mein yahi hu.." Riya felt so bad for her. "Shree take her to her room.. aur tum bhi rest karo.. kal raath se soya nahi hai na tum dono.. go now.."Raj knew Shree would take care of her. Shree took her. Before going she kissed Arjun's forehead.

Shree made her to sit on the bed and sat by her taking her arms. They were silent for a while. Soon she broke down on his shoulder and he held her tightly. She knew now that he is the one for her.. they sat for a long time. He made her get into the bed and he sat on a sofa near to her. She slept holding his arms and he slept on the sofa.

Raj took the cameras collected from the point and was analyzing it. He saw Riya holding onto Arjun's hands. She was wiping his forehead with wet towel and caressing his head. He was looking better now.

Sameer went to call Chotu to come immediately. He saw Shifali standing alone near the window, with tears welled in her eyes. He went to her "kya hua Shifali?" she was still lost. "I'm sorry Sameer.. ye sab meri wajah se hai na.. I'm sorry.." she couldn't continue. He touched her shoulder and made her look to him. She hugged him and broke down. He stood there hugging her, patting her head.
