Chapter 12

CHAPTER 11:

Everything was normal now. Riya Shree and Chotu found a new, relaxed Arjun in the team. Raj had a great effect on him. Still he was khadoos at times to Riya.

The one person who was on cloud nine was Ridhi. She was so happy that she cried whole night on each of her brother's shoulder and later on Riya's too.

She hugged Riya. She felt so close to her  "ab bas Ridhi.. shayad ab tumhare wajah se mujhe mere seniors ko bhi rothe huye dekhne milege.." she smiled and hugged her again.

"mission 1 accomplished' now mission 2'" she thought and held Riya closer.      

Riya and Chotu were fed up with Shree, who always brought up Ridhi in his talks. "..just like her smile'" "'so cute, hai na?..".

Few days later: ETF SUV: 8 15 pm:

"yaar case is over. How about a dinner together. ?" Raj was always enthusiastic.

"good idea.. Ridhi ko bhi bulathe hai'" Arjun called her immediately. "Ridhi kaha ho tum?"

"hi.. mein universal book store mein.. bas ghar janehi wali hu.."

"nahi tum wahi ruko.. Shree commissioner office is us tharaf aaraha hai..you both wait for us there.. we'll be there in 15 minutes. Dinner pe chalthe hai..ok?"

"k bhai..i'll wait for him" she cut the call. "hm.. tho  sh..sh..Shree aaraha hai.."

Riya informed Shree to go to Ridhi. He was super duper excited. He reached the book store in no time. She was so cute in a blue salwar.. he kept gazing her. She felt uncomfortable.. "hey.. aise kya dekh rahe ho? Kabhi dekha nahi hai kya?" he felt awkward. Both couldn't speak for a while. They were near to the footpath waiting for others. 

After a bit of silence, Shree couldn't control. "tho.. hows college?"

"great'" she smiled.

"tho.. friends sab hai waha pe..?"

"of course' college hai tho, friends bhi hoga na.. budhu.." she smiled again.

"I mean ' koi special friend'?" she got the hint.

"ya.. sab special hai..Karan, Pankaj, Asif, Shiva'"

"all boys? Huh?"

"ya.. any problem?"

"no, mujhe kya problem hai?" he was a bit disappointed. He looked away. She tried hard not to laugh.  "so you too had friends at college, right?"

"ha' Sanuja, Priya, Shifali'"

"all girls..? kafi Mr.popular the waha pe?"

"ya almost'"he smiled back. " Ridhi.. kuch puuchna tha tumse.."

"ha puucho.."

"wo kya hai ki.." suddenly her phone rang. She looked at the screen and smiled "hello'Karan kaha the tum? Kab thak wait kiya tumhe? '"  she excused and moved away.

"dammit.. ye phone ko bhi abhi aana tha.? Aur ye Karan kaun hai? uske friend list ke first member.." he was annoyed.

He turned back to her. She was a few feets away from him, still on phone. He noticed a car speeding towards her. His instinct told him that something was going to happen. "Ridhi'" he called out. But she didn't hear. He ran and pushed her out of the way. They both fell. Shree had pushed her to a safe part but he slipped and hit his head on the edge of footpath. "aah'" all was going blurry.

She stood and ran to Shree. He was bleeding heavily from his fore head.. "oh no'Shree get up..please open your eyes' oh no.. its my fault.. please I'm sorry.. please aankhen khulo' please'" she was crying bitterly keeping his head on her lap. "somebody help please'"  she cried to the onlookers. She took her phone and called her brother.. "bhai.. jaldi aao please'" she cried out.

Raj and team rushed to the spot. Shree was unconscious in her lap.. bleeding badly. She was holding onto his wounds with her dupatta.. they rushed him to hospital, were he was taken to emergency room. She cried bitterly on Arjun's arms. It was really hard to control her. "its my fault.. wo mujhe bachana chahtha tha.. aur usse hi'" she cried.

"don't worry beta.. he'll be fine.." all were consoling her.

After a while, doctor came out. "he is fine..kaafi blood loss hua hai..tho thode weak hai.. ab behosh hai.. but he'll be fine soon'"

"kya hum usse mil sakthe hai..?" Ridhi was eager.

"why not.. but don't disturb him.. he need rest." All went in he was asleep with bandage on fore head. Ridhi was a bit relaxed. Rathod had a call and went out.he came in to announce a case.

"Ridhi tum ghar jao.. he'll be fine. Aur hume bhi case pe jaana hai.. yaha hum doctors ko batha denge.." Sameer said.

"nahi bhai' ise yaha akele kaise chod sakthe hai..? mein yahi rukthi hu.. after all its all because of me.."

"but tum yaha akeli.."

"its ok bhai.. I'll be fine. Aap jaiye." They went telling her to call whenever necessary. She was sitting besides his bed with tears.

After a while he woke up and saw Ridhi sitting by him. "uth gaye tum? Are u alright?doctor ko bulau?" she asked in one breath. He smiled. "hey..I'm fine." He tried to get up.

 "ruko.. doctor tumhe aaram karne keliye kaha hai.. aur thode pehle aakar kaha hai ke kuch din eyes ko strain na kare.."

"kya? Thab mein kaam kaise karunga?"

"I don't know. Bas doctor ne kaha hai.. so its final.."

she was silent for a while and he noticed it. "kya hua? Aise chup kyu ho?"

"kuch nahi.. bas tum aaram karlo.."

"ha.. aaram hi tho kar rahi hu' par mujhe jaldse work pe jaana hai.. its so boring without working'" she smiled. "aur doctor jo kaha uska kya?" he didn't know. He nodded negative.

 "agar tum sachmuch kaam par jaana chahthe ho tho ek rastha hai.."

"kya?" he was amused. "tum kuch din mujhe apne PA banalo.. computers.. hacking.. ye sab mujhe bhi aatha hai.. baaki tum sikhalo.."

"aur thumhare class..?"

"college mein kuch conference hai.. 5 days.. tho chutti'" she beamed.

"aur tumhare bhaiyon se kya kahege? Wo mujhe zinda kha denge.."

"don't worry wo sab mein handle karungi.. so done?"  he looked at her. "done". he was keeping on looking at her. She felt shy. "kya zaroorath the aise mahan kaam karne mein? Kuch ho jatha tho?"

"tum uss phone mein chipak gaye the.. isiliye..waise kaun the wo? Boyfriend?" she rolled her eyes. "no.. no boyfriend' only friend.." she smiled again. Her phone rang. "hello..Arjun bhaiya..ha' uth gaye.. no.. he's fine.. ok.. ek minute.. Shree call for you.."

"hello sir' no I'm fine' hm.. hm' ya..mere lap mein hai.. I'll send it..no not a problem.. waise Ridhi hai na yaha.. ok bye.." he cut the call. "mere lap mein ek file hai.. send karna hai.."he tried to get up and she stopped him. "I'll do it.. remember..PA?" she brought his lap.
"ab password bolo"

"no" she looked at him."kyu ? PA hu.. help kar rahi hu.. ab bolo.."

"hm.. ok.. I'll say ..you type..R'I'D'Z'I'" she typed it. "Ridzi.. cute.. kaun hai wo?" he kept on looking at her. "tum.. meri RIDZI.." his heart said.

"abhi nahi.. kisi aur samay batha dunga.. ab wo file send karo.. PA'" he smiled at her.
